Very nice dude! H1 is so brutal. H2 is so beautiful! And H3 is the cherry on top.
If I had to nitpick I would just xr a little bigger.
Thx yeah two wild extremes . Yeah XR I should have gone bigger hand 2 since I’m calling off and so I can just jams virtually all turns and fold out better. I min clicked back on Hand 3 bc felt like it forces him to call with his entire Kx +spades and probably just induces a jam from KQ.

Spent most of off day today reviewing some hands and stats then watching some 6max sweat vids. My confidence in this format is increasing quickly. Don’t like to get ahead of myself but it is looking probable that this second 10k (10-20k) hands at nl25 will be break-even to slightly up trending. This would be well ahead of expected pace as I was prepared to lose for a much longer duration.
Should have a better picture of trajectory after weekend but if second 10k hands is +$ I’ll add in another table to accelerate volume (and so on every +$ 10k up to 8 tables).
More hands after tomorrow’s session from spots I struggle with/feel I misplay then full stats update coming whenever second 10k of hands is complete. Hoping for a really strong weekend.
I think he mentioned 4 earlier in the thread, but I could be wrong. But these look like regular tables, not Zoom-like fast-fold tables. Again, I could be mistaken.

Yes only 4 tables at the moment. The amount of things I’m trying to implement right now is prohibitive to more at this time. I can see working back up to 8 but doubt will be going over that number at any point in this challenge.
Any reason why you’e switching from Live to Online?
Just curious. GL OP!
Yes I meant to mention this in here. Firstly I have a herniated disk+pinched nerve also activating sciatic in back. I am in the healing+rehab process now but the driving back and forth and seating at poker rooms is challenging. Secondly I am trying to put in a ton of work on improving this year and getting to what I consider competitively ‘good’ again and I have slid into this purely exploit style only useful in llsnl cash and have been sort of lost as to how to study/learn again; playing online again has helped me structure how I want to review and improve. Lastly the move to fla has opened up availability (no state fence) to me and I am curious what ceiling I can reach. What I’m realizing is my disdain for online and strong live preference the last 8-10 years was largely comfortability, lack of discipline, and laziness on my own part whereas right now I’m really enjoying the process of this challenge.
nasty day, ran pretty badly and complicated it by pushing the action more than necessary. def feels like a setback kind of day but some of these were expected so going to just try to play much more disciplined sat-sun. on a lighter note I got in a lot of spots to go over.
going to post two hands where I think I'm just supposed to call it off first, first is debatable bc I can't find many bluffs vs this player maybe 77/88 exactly? but super unlikely, maybe sometimes we fold to chop; thinking maybe I should have just x behind turn call rivers/value bet river. hand 2 is just unfortunate spin out of a light three bet pre.

hand 4:the way this hand progressed I knew I want to bluff lot of rivers, unfortunately I struggled deciding on sizing.

HJ Folds, CO Raises To $0.60, BTN Folds, HERO Raises To $2.25, BB Folds, CO Raises To $4.92, HERO Calls $2.67
Hero SPR on Flop: [3.17 effective] Flop ($10.09): T 7 8
HERO Checks, CO Bets $2.52 (Rem. Stack: $29.45), HERO Calls $2.52 (Rem. Stack: $51.10)
Turn ($15.13): T 7 8 3
HERO Checks, CO Checks
River ($15.13): T 7 8 3 K
HERO Bets $8.36 (Rem. Stack: $42.74), CO Calls $8.36 (Rem. Stack: $21.09)
Spoiler:
CO shows: Q Q
CO wins: $30.26
and the finale hand 5: ...of the three I think this was actually a great bluff line and card to jam as he folds such a massive portion of range and I'm going to probably play my AA/KK and all boats same way on paired river, even his JT just folds here I think. ill let yall see why it didnt work

Hand 1: I know I call this off a bunch but vs the pool i think we can make an exploitative fold here, just much harder to do in game than looking at the HH tho
Hand 2: 53s is never a 3b here. Like we can 3b 54s, 65s and 76s some % of the time but there is no need to be 3betting 53s. As played it's fine
Hand 3 : At these stakes UTG vs CO you should just be 4b or folding A5s vs the 3b i also prefer c/c on flop as too c/r here cause we rep so little be c/ring
Hand 4 : Is ok but if we're going to bluff we need to bet much larger our value range her is basically flushes a small amount KTs and sets you slowplayed on the flop
Hand 5 : Again needless 3b i'd 3b 98s a small % of the time but almost always with T9s. 79s should just be a fold pre. As played I liek the 3barrel but we should be betting larger on turn
Did what I needed to do today and addressed the areas I was sloppy on last session. The new rule on the suited gappers was more challenging than expected, there were dozens of spots I was loaded to threebet and had to dial it back. Bluffs were working today due to better lines, blockers, and sizing. Have to stay hyper focused and on track tomorrow as well.
Some bluffs
Hand 1: very similar to a hand from last session I posted where I arrived at river knowing I wanted to bluff but chose too small sizing; this time just jam.

Spoiler:
HERO wins: $9.88
Can't find some of the other hands I was looking for and too tired zzz, was a good hand I xcall xcall half pot 4 card flsh river w/air but it got buried in history somewhere so heres rando A high call from session for hand 3.
Hand 3:

Ah one more bc involved a reg I'm developing a certain dynamic with. Guy knows I am often bet-bet w/air so his xr turn makes no sense w/value bc he will generally let me barrel off so I tank and come to right decision ott. Unfortunately he binks river and gets no value. After turn decision I'm probably calling off up to psb river.
Hand 4:

Hmmm I’m seeing V remaining stack on river hand 1 and didn’t realize he was so short. Not so sure about bluff now bc I don’t think he can fold his Jx anymore and we only fold out busted draws and sticky underpairs.

Vnh's bro. Already seeing tons of improvement. Next time you can size turn smaller so you have more room to bomb river in comparison to their stack.

Also the advice from J.E.C. was 100% spot on.
Thx, yes the feedback itt has helped shape my alterations and study thus far for sure.
*questions for y’all GTO wizards out there about two particular things:
1) Do I need to always !3 AK off from bb facing tight Utg open (pure raise?)or is some flatting permissible or even ideal?
2) Why is KJs a better 4bet candidate pre than KQs? Guy I was watching was explaining it but I wasn’t following well, I don’t see how the increase in absolute value in the KQs is offset by blocking/unblocking...also the KJ blocks JJ which we want to be in Vs !3 sometimes if 4betting and unblocks QQ so again just confused why KJs be a better !4 pre.

1. Yes we always pure raise AK from every position and gii pre(AKs) for 100bb eff is basically never a mistake although vs tighter positions and vs very nitty players you can mix some flats against 3b and 4b with AKo but I never do.
2. Far from a wizard and I might even be wrong because I've never really studied why KJs is preferred but if I had to guess the EV is higher from winning the pot outright preflop and by having the range advantage postflop in a 4b pot. And KQs is too good to turn into a 4b bluff and plays much better as a defend vs a 3b whereas KJs performs worse vs a std 3b range. Also the EV of being IP vs OOP factors in. I assume we should flat KJs more IP and 4b more when OOP.
rough day, played well for first 2/3 of session then felt myself getting a little sloppy last 1/3 or so. down about 4 bi, looking like I won't be adding 5th table until possibly after 30k hand mark barring some sun run on 17.5k-20k, I'll update results after 20k hands nl25 still. today was a weird one, more sloppy recs than I have seen on here before and that mostly did not go my way.
heres a few hands that just sort of melted by brain and I'm still trying to figure out
hand 1: I think I should have 2/3 turn but suspect same weird outcome

Those last 2 hands look pretty good. H1 unlucky river although he should still fold anyways. H2 is fine you can mix in some flop raises but the way you played it is probably preferred.

Yeah I think if we were shallower on the AQhh some options open, probably too strong to 4-bet fold pre but as played could maybe just c/r gii otf sometimes.
