Hello all just looking to see if anyone here has made the jump and moved to Dominican republic or anywhere in the Caribbean to play online? Im not leaving til just about one year from today I want all my debit/bills taken care of and money on the side in case if I must return from my journey. My first go Im going to go for 3 to 6 months renting apt from a friends family member so that's not an issue. Im looking to see how long has it taken people to get set up and actually start seeing some hands on pokerstars? How much stuff do they ask for that I will need to provide? Ive tried emailing them but get same response since im in the u.s. they are unable to tell me?! like really Im just trying to do as much planning and research before I go. for anyone who is out there or has tried this how hard is it getting a bank account set up out there?
and please any info or hurdles you had to jump things you may have ran into plz let me know Im trying to put and have everything together before the jump.

This is prob not the best forum for it. Try the Travel forum, under Other Topics. Also, there are few threads on folks moving to Mexico to play online that might be helpful. Not sure what fora they are in, but a search should turn up a few.
