I'm a live poker "serious rec" with a focus on MTTs for 2019 (and grinding cash in-between tourneys).

I plan on playing much bigger MTTs as the year progresses, but my first goal of 2019 is to win one of the Party Poker Millions NA Main Event Step 3 Satellite Seats (valued at $1655) available at Playground (Montreal) for the Top 3 Leaders in the January TLB.

Running Jan 1 to Jan 19, I planned on playing the Noon and Nightly Tourney every day to win the challenge. After 11 days of play here's how I'm doing:

Tourney Entry Fees: $1,735 (including $265 rake/dealer add-ons = 18% effective rake, eek!)

Tourney Profits: $3,490 ($58/hr)

Cash Game Winning Sessions: 4/4
Cash Game Hours: 19
Cash Game Profits: $2,865 ($150/hr = 30bb/hr)

Total Profits: $6,335 ($80/hr)

Clearly I'm on a heater, having won the daily tourney yesterday, then chopped the nightly one 3-ways, as well as the nice cash game upswing, but it feels good when preparation meets opportunity in this way (I've been putting in serious work on my MTT and Cash Game tactics outside of just playing).
