Hey everyone, happy new year!
Letīs get down to some objectives for 2019, but first 2018 recap...
Good, but not Great
Basically, as I mentioned on my first post, the general feeling I have right now is kind of bittersweet. On one hand, exactly 1 year ago I was playing 50/100nl, and this year I even played some soft 1k tables, but on the other hand I have the thought that I can achieve more and thatīs what I will try to do on 2019.
Graph from 2018 (untracked sites missing, and also played some months on Chinese sites at the beginning of the year. Rakeback not included as well)
Now letīs go for 2019 goals:
- Play a minimum of 60k hands per month, except on July/August due to WSOP, holidays.
- By the end of the year I want to be playing nl500-2k on average.
- Dedicate at least 30 hours per month to study. Focus on trying to achieve the routine that works best for me (productivity)
- Keep myself on the healthy side (gym, food, sleep, etc)
Having said that, the first step of the road is
January and I want to achieve the following:
- Play 75k hands.
- Record 5 days of pure study and compare pros/cons with my current method (studying less time per day but more frequently)
- Figure out a good schedule and stick to it. I want to wake up and go to bed every day at the same time (+- 1 hour) as I feel that it boosts my productivity during the day.
- 20 gym sessions and get back to my daily meditation routine.
Best of luck to everyone on 2019, letīs go for it
