I read on this forum forever and played a bit of poker once a while but nothing serious. I know I can beat the lowstakes if I want to. That's why I started my own challenge; 100 dollar to start at 2/5 cents and try to get up to 25/50 cents with some decent BRM.
I don't have loads of time to play cause I work like 50-60 hours a week, but I'm up for the challenge. I will post every session and feedback on hands I post are appreciated.
First session went well, EV won is 8,19 dollar, 25.92 bb/100.
I was kinda scared of the reraise so I called down, but in hindsight I better shove turn I guess, anything from 77-qq can call me down and with sets he probably bets bigger? (Have nearly no hands on anyone since I just started my database)
My aim for now is to play 25k hands on 2/5 cents and see how I do. As soon as I've done those I know what is the best thing to study cause my leaks should be visible then I guess.
So far it's the EV bucks, but that's no problem. As long as the roll is healthy I'm fine with running bad. I know I tilted back in the days when running bad, but this challenge will keep me motivated.
So done another session; might play a few more hands tonight. Ended up 7,12 dollars after 905 hand; 15.73 bb/100. Net won; 0.75 dollar
So didn't win the crucial ones but it doesn't matter. Following hands I have my doubts. Feedback is greatly appreciated.
I guess I should have folded, but that's results oriented. The guy I played like 150 hands with and he was 60 vpip +-. That's why I thought he was full of it. Any tips?
