Hi all,

A little bit about me; I've been lurking the forums now for a good few years and been playing poker since 2013. Never got anywhere above 10NL and to be honest was fairly break-even in cash with a few tourny binks here and there. I havn't played all too much in the last couple years due to social/uni lifestyle but feel like I want to give poker another shot over this summer and perhaps beyond.

I feel my main issue in the past was stupidly long auto-piloting sessions leading to poor results and managing to be b/e with rakeback. As I've gotten older I think I'll be able to respect the game more and treat it properly. I just purchased 'Mathematics of Poker' and intend on reading through that over the next couple weeks and regularly review sessions and hands to improve. I will also post hands on here when I feel I need direction from more experienced players.

The reason for starting my own thread and finally making an account is because I believe it will help motivate me and keep my head in the right place to try and improve rather than just gambool.

I started with $50 in my account at the start of the month and now have $168.92, mainly playing 5nl FF on Party (avoiding PS because of the rake changes..). My end goal is to fulfil my 'dream' of becoming one of the better regs at 25NL FF/zoom as this is the stake I have once reached, but have never beaten. I will mainly play 5NL FF with a few of the softer MTT's thrown in (like the Jab) every now and then when I don't have work in the morning. I plan to move up to 10NL for a 4BI shot once I reach $250 and we will see from there.

Thanks for reading and good luck at the tables

Total graph so far, 90% 5NL FF, 3% FF 10NL, 7% 10NL reg tables.

So today went pretty badly in all honesty, after not having a losing day this month it feels bad to have wiped 38% of my BR in one day :S But I am not too bothered as it just makes me more motivated to get better and not make too many mistakes

However, after now building up a decent sample of hands I filtered through my database to identify some leaks and it went pretty well. I found loads of things that I was losing money in, like calling too much with SC in pretty much all positions without regard of villains etc, and overall playing a bit too passively too.

After my reviewing session I decided to just 2 table so I can really concentrate on the action at hand and avoid going on autopilot and I much preferred it than 4 tabling. Also noticed my red line was a lot better when I was 2 tabling, and after trying to fix a few leaks. Overall, happy with my play near the end of the day, but the cards were not in my favour today having a few set over sets and the occasional spew from tilt before I studied Would post a few hands by the HH converter doesn't seem to be working atm, so will put a few of the ones I felt weren't played great at the end of the week.

I have 13 hour shifts for the next 3 days so won't be able to play until Sunday, which may be in my benefit anyway considering today
Gl at the tables everyone

BR $103.24
