In UTG vs HJ if villain is unknown and there's no table reads I like a 3! bluffing range of A5-A4s 76s65s but if villain has folding tendencies I would certainly extend that to A5-2s and add in 45s and if they really like to fold I'll put in the rest of the A9-A6s and 97s 86s 75s 64s.

Can definitely get behind the A2s preflop anyway and I'd for sure have those in my default 3! range from CO vs UTG.

I would check behind on the flop to induce bets on the turn that I can call and prevent XR's when I have the NFD (unless I flop a straight draw plus NFD)

Go for a triple barrel when you have all the other flush draws and combo draws which the low suited cards will flop to fold out medium-strength pocket pairs by the river.

Sizing-wise I would set the bets up for a good sized river shove and think the flop bet is a bit too large, would go for 10-11bb rather than 13.5bb because we can get villain all-in with the smaller sizing if we want to by the river anyways.

1k hands and I had my first losing session so far in the challenge!



Similar to my last few sessions definitely played a bit on the sloppy side, but nevertheless my bet sizing was pretty sweet in some spots and got value I'd otherwise miss by just hammering the 80% button. Auto-piloted a lot and started to stray away from the Snowie ranges - going to turn off hot keys (right click fold) and see how that pans out.

Tbh should have called it a day at 500 hands in as have work tomorrow (its 1AM now) but there you go!

Pretty standard stuff, I do think I should have flatted the flop though (although think if I'm deep I prefer a raise). Either way I cant go too far wrong with this much equity, and I suppose I can take a free card off on the turn if he flats flop.

Overall I'm about 3k hands behind, but still think I can still make up the deficit pretty easily.

So far in the challenge I've run pretty well, but not bad! At the end though I don't particularly care so much about the results, but rather the learning experience I'm going to receive from putting in X thousand of hands.

I think I've learned about everything I need to from NL25 now, so going to hop on up to NL50 and see how I get on :O

GL mate, 3k hands mightn't seem like a lot on paper, but finding those extra hours to get that volume in will be harder than you think! So get to work!
