Hey guys

I'm a 28yo Bridge Engineer from London. I mainly play £1/£2-£2/£5 NLH Live Cash Games in Central London.

I got into poker 4 years ago, starting with $1 SNGs on 888poker

After that I started getting into Live Cash Games and managed to spin up a decent BR since then.

I used to come after work each Friday, shortstack £100 at the Hippo and drink about a million espressos and glasses of coke while waiting for aces. Of course, you could argue not much has really changed...

For someone who works a mediocrely paid FT job I think I've been doing ok at least!

My main PG+C may be found here. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...grind-1611280/

I've been on a sizeable downswing recently, and in all honesty have a lot of myself to blame for it. The inspiration for this thread comes from a recent poker holiday to Bulgaria and all the talented online grinders I met out there, and the stories of their early struggles becoming a winning player.

I've never really taken online poker very seriously, and when I have it's been in very limited quantities and mainly for practice.

As a result I want to dedicate a full month of my volume to online poker. I'm going to be starting with 16NL Zoom and see how I go from there using a 20BI strategy

My goals for this PG+C are as follows:

1. Put in 25k hands of Zoom 2-3 Tabling
2. Post graphs post-session, including Top 3 biggest hands and any total spew hands.
3. Really focus on becoming a super disciplined grinder; the idea is that Online Poker will act as good training wheels. The metric for this will be a score /5.
4. Knock on the head a lot of the consistent spew I've recently been exhibiting in Live Games. I guess the metric for this will be the number of spew hands I post each day!
5. Run at least 5 PIOSolver flops/day from the 94 subset in a specific spot (see https://youtu.be/vxXK5FuKjtE) and Mark Lammars RIO PIO videos.
6. End the 25k storm with a respectable f3b stat.

As a bonus if I fail to meet the 25k Hands I will be giving away a free Sunday Millions Ticket to a random poster after my announcement in my London Live 1/2 2/5 PG+C; you must have at least 50 posts!

I am also interested in other props; for the record I work 7am-8pm including commuting in quite a stressful job. The challenge started 00:00 GMT 17/08/2017 and will be completed 00:00 GMT 17/09/2017.

Quick feasibility analysis of challenge while attempting to do work

We shall see! With 2-3 tables as stipulated though I think it will be fine even if I miss a couple of days; that being said got a lot of project work on so might be an easy £50 for some-one depending on agreed odds!

I've also tabulated all the qualifiers in this google spreadsheet for transparency, if I've missed anyone out let me know. If I fail (if I fail that is) I'll come up with some suitably degenerate way of determining a winner.

In - GL. 25k hands should be a breeze. 500 hands over 3 tables is a pretty manageable session.

Good luck mate!

Dont like your call on hand 1 vs an uncapped utg range, unless you have some sort of read to backup your call. 10NL is also not to aggressive from my experience so overbets are way more value heavy compared to missed draws.

Thanks man! checked up on your thread haven't had a bad go at it so far!

Idk on the river he basically went snap AI (which tbf I didn't mention) so just found the sigh call.

In any event 16NL this evening!

Think it is a call yeah but do think its close. Risk 50:150 = 1:3 = 25%. 9 outs + 1.5*TP outs = 10.5*2 = 22%. With some random combo draws probably makes it just about +EV

Day 3! (And Day 2)

Played absolutely no hands last night - bit of catch up needed! To make it more interesting I'm going to playing no more than 2 tables throughout the session.

On average its about 400 hands/1 hour with 2 tables looking at my PT from today and yesterday - so need to put in about another 5 hours grind today to push through!

Reason I'm playing 2 tables is because of this:

https://www.pokersnowie.com/preflop-advisor.html

It's not something I was previously aware of; in fact I think its so good that I wasnt going to initially share it, but have gained so much enjoyment from posting in my silly thread and seeing the responses decided why not!

Basically abusing this app/website everytime a preflop spot comes up which is close. After this month is said and done, I hope to have fixed most of the awful preflop leaks I have - a very easy fix with this app!

Anyway back on the grind...
