Not too much to report on WCOOP-wise. Played pretty much all events within my buyin range and bricked most. Am getting pretty exhausted from grinding 12hrs+ every day and have become increasingly bitter/borderline crazy sometimes But every morning I wake up and feel like I can do it again, just 5-6 more days and WCOOP is over and I'll be able to say I gave it my all in the chase for glory.

Had a few good scores to keep the monthgraph steady, came 3rd in the 16.5 pko deep last week and had this yesterday:



Was really frustrating as I came into the FT with a nice chiplead but then just nothing went my way. Felt like it was my tourney from F3T on but that's just not how it works. Managed to not get a single bounty at the final table In the meantime was still in the 27wcoop but KK<AA and JJ<QTs for a nice ammount of Justins and I failed to make day 2.

Have to remember that I ran great to get another 3k score etc but goddammit it does not make my hunger for more disappear in the slightest. Went to bed at 6AM very tilted

GL to all the heroes for the rest of the series, let's try to make something special happen!

Welp, just finished a 17h grind with my second 5fig score ever, finished 5th/5k in 55$ 250k timbey on ACR for just over 10k.

I'm feeling somewhere between delighted and supergutted right now. Final table was an absolute ICM ****fest and there was only one decent reg on it. Was 1/6 with 30bb like half an hour ago, then ran AK into AA, doubled again AK>QJs. Then was 2/5 with 15bbs... Just completely ridiculous shovefest, asked in chat if anyone wants to see numbers, crickets.. (had 43k up top)

Then put in 7.5M of my 9M with 55 UTG/hijack, the one guy who covers me was like the biggest nit i've ever seen, he would legit fold JJ and AK there. But alas he snaprejams and I know it even before the cards are turned over... the preflop nizzles. Picking up the blinds/antes was just so fkn important bc having a stack to raise/fold with on this particular FT was absolutely printing, so no regrets about my play at all really. Just gutted to go from 2/5 to fifth and being denied a deal discussion that would've given me like 20k. Butttt have to keep in mind that I'm extremely laki to have gotten there in the first place and 10k is a sweet score. My mind is still racing right now, gl me catching some sleep.

Gonna probably take it easy tomorrow and play a few tables, maybe have a beer while doing that. Very happy to end this series on a good note $$-wise but have to be honest and say there were way too many moments I was just absolutely fuming and not enjoying the grind anymore at all. The whole 'no days off' approach definitely not the best idea and I'm looking forward to the off peak grind mixed with a bunch of study (I need this). Solid end to the series man. No days off with many hours each day is just too much on the human brain imo. Must be tough when you see your ev being so high during this kinda series though. Take a week deserved break!

Okay, so I've finally sat myself down to update this again. Sorry for the wait, just didn't really feel like writing anything and tbh not a whole lot of interesting stuff happened.

I visited Belgium for a week which was a nice time. Good to see some family and friends again. Then went to Amsterdam to see J Cole and smoke grade A weed which was great and eventually went on a little roadtrip with a few mates back to Vienna. We went Belgium=>Cologne for a few days=>Berlin for more than a few days=>Viennna and while I'm not gonna go into detail here, I'll say that we went out of line quite a bit that week

By the time I got back home in Vienna, I was quite sick/tired so had a few days go by where I put in a half grind at most. Now am left with 10 days in October to grind out some sort of volume so trying to get something done at least. Had a solid review with the king of timbey which was really helpful both in gaining some new insights and getting rid of the rust after not playing for 2 weeks. Feel like I played really well in the session the day after that and even managed to bink the $7 bubble rush for $400, which was not nearly enough to save the day Also got 12th in the 16BB for a close one

Didn't even get close to the volume I was hoping for but put in a million hours and kept table count pretty low with the tougher WCOOPs mixed in so I guess it's fine. Still have no clue how people put in 1k+ games

**** winrate Think a few days where I tilted some affected the graph quite a bit and playing every day for 12hrs min with some tougher games in there will have an influence too. Always bothered to see a meh EV-giraffe but will use it as motivation. On the bright side have finally achieved my true winrate this month winning 20 evbb/100 over the massive sample of 9k hands so clearly have become an insane crusher overnight

I can't help but feeling my updates are getting pretty stale/boring so I apologize for that but I'm barely ever in a mood to type stuff out in here, not sure why. Will leave the thread open though and hope to regain motivation to update more frequently and with some more entertaining content. There's a bunch of threads in here I read daily and am really enjoying, much props to the goat updaters of PGC because it takes an effort to update regularly with graphs/hands/stories and it's always nice to get lost in a thread on a long trainride or whatever

Have a lot of stuff I should do today like sending docs to ACR so I can trade my 10k on there for stars, clean the house, do laundry, should probably get a haircut and likely going out tonight but I woke up and all I wanna do is grind out a session and sip tea all day Cheekily regged the 82BB while typing this out, not sure if I'm regging more but since I'll be the only one awake in this house for 1-2 more hours I'm tempted to fire some more timbeys haha.

Interesting session yesterday, grinded for ~18 hours and ended up falling just short in a couple of big ones:








Still had fun with the grind, not sure what I'll end up doing today. Maybe do a review and a grind, maybe one of both, maybe just chill because am pretty wrecked. Will relax for a bit now and see if I get fresh enough for poker. Leaning towards yes already because Monster series is amazing, props to Partypoker for running it!
