Yeah I was playing a bit too vamoo in quite a few spots yesterday tbh that was a really nasty beat for you, must have been pretty tilting busting vs that monkeyshove runner runner bs

Fwiw I simply snapjammed bc I assumed you'd be r/folding way too much for the bounty which is a dumb assumption tbh. Likely you are doing a lot of limping/jamming yourself and my play is atrocious. I was playing a bit too vamoo in quite some spots yesterday and got caught up trying to collect all the bounties, partly bc I was just running so pure Anyway you're definitely due to give me a sick beat/slowroll GL mate!

Allright, let's recap May/SCOOP finally. In general I enjoyed SCOOP but resultswise the month of May was just very meh. The one major good thing that came from playing SCOOP was noticably improving by playing good structured tournaments with the occasional top reg at the table; just like last year I feel motivated and ready to take a better game into the softer summer games.

Graph of stars/party for May:

Biggest scores (I can't complain about runbad in big fields):

EV-graph (somewhat ashamed to show it this time):

I feel like I'm peaking at the moment in terms of focus, play, confidence and rungood so that should be a great help to skyrocket that EVbb in the upcoming months. Yesterday's session fizzled out in a small loss but I think playwise it was probably the best session I've had all year so am really happy with that.

Scoped around a bit yesterday (I wouldn't dare scoping myself if I hadn't binked something) and what I saw once again made me question the point of playing the glory games. I mean it's fun to go for it and the 109+ timbeys I am frequently playing are way softer than like the 33 5k fo or 27 deepstacks so it's definitely very profitable but on the other hand it's hard to get a good sample, $$$ variance is huge in the grand scheme of things and just plain skipping all 109+ would be a surefire way to reduce variance a ton and just print (in theory at least ). I'm not washed up yet though and I enjoy the thrill too much so for now will just see where those higher games take me. Maybe I'll pull a Lol Tinnion, who knows... Might start selling a bit more of the higher games though.

Graph scheduled 0-44$:

Graph scheduled $45+:

I went to play live for the first time in Vienna as well which was pretty fun even though I busted the 300eur timbey without dragging a single pot. Mr. Ac3play was still going at it so I sat and grinded some 1/2 in the meantime which had the softest lol_line up I've ever seen. The one reggy looking guy got up after 15mins to play 1/3 and I was left with an Asian lady, an Asian man, three older guys and someone who looked as degen as can be. Got 3-outed from turn to river for a 250eur pot and flopped a flush which lost to the flopped nizzles, but ended down only €100 which isn't too bad at all. Had fun trying to play focussed and patient live and had a few laughs at the table so overall not too negative of an experience and I'm probably gonna play some more live timbeys/cash when a good donkament presents itself. Ac3play unfortunately ended up busting day 1 of the timbey as well so we went home, got beer and celebrated the loss.

That's all for now, folks. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather and the occasional pokers, untill next update and GL

Wow that lower stakes graph is ****ing beautiful. How many games a day do you roughly grind? My thinking is, if you're playing like 35 games a day for 20 days a month, then in a year that's basically 2/3 the volume on that graph so 65k ish a year + rb doing a fairly low stress grind and getting quite a lot of time off to chill. Obv that's dependant on 35 games a day, it might be lower but if it's higher maybe you should just be crazy selective on higher stakes and just go into print mode.

Because the extra ev we have per year:

Assume 4 days weekly grind over 50 weeks with holidays.

Play 40 games at 30 abi during those where we make 33% roi

This is 80k in ev. Pretty fn good

Then u add the following

Only choosing to play the softest of the soft games you add Sunday million you add party main event and title fight with overlay you add the Monday early 6max etc . Game select super hard and per week you only add 20 more games at an abi of 150 where u realistically make 30-40% roi

That equates to 45k more per year in ev. Playing only 40 games per session means playing a low table count with high focus. Playing only four days a week seems at the very least realistic for a grinder. Think the numbers above are quite fair. Up to the individual to decide if the no stress approach is worth 45k per year less I guess

Thanks Shelly, I like to filter that one from time to time I am to be honest way too big of a volume fish and just try to put in 30games/sesh but am working on getting better at that part of the grind. I put in a couple of 12-tabling sessions which went well and will increase my avg games/day now. I usually do grind 5 days/week but there are some longer vacations etc, should still be able to put in way more volume than I do though I have been 6-8 tabling a lot this year to try and improve the quality of my play.

GL with the spins, buddy!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wrapping up the month, was thinking of playing today but have half a hangover and feel like going outside a bit.

Month graph:

EV graph:

EV-graph is missing all my Party hands since I can't fkn get my hud to work there anymore. Should really try to fix that this month.

All in all pretty happy with volume and quality of play, especially in the last half of the month. Did a couple of reviews that really opened my eyes to leaks I need to fix and definitely feel like my game is changing for the better.

Am getting a little frustrated at not being able to finish strong in the big timbeys. Have been making tons of runs at them this year and end up falling short basically every single time. Am still a little sad finishing 6th in 109 booty on a Sunday after coming in 1/9 but I guess it's whatever and should be happy to even get there. I'm sure I'll have another shot in that kind of timbey and will make sure to be a better player when I do.

Goals/plans for July:

- 700+ games
- Finish Bencb course
- 5+ solid reviews
- Start marking more hands again
- Visit family/friends and most importantly cat in Belgium
- Meet hottest girl in Vienna and take her out
- Start going to gym

GL to all the homies
