tried to up my abi a bit, playing all 55.- mtts with smts rebuying, still about 150-200 abi ........... right away I hit my first really nasty downswing on 888, down almsot 5k from my highpoint

... dropped then my abi drastically, consolidated, and ......

.... day before yesterday I shipped the 88.- late gr8 (in with max. two bullets in the 12.- sat) for 1.820.-

so things should be on track again, still not gonna play over 33.- without satties for some time until I am sure that the downsing devil let go of me :P

I will stay in Vienna until next tuesday, my son is looking for a job as trainee / lehrling / azubi as application developer and we are visiting relatives.

I will have a lot of free time, so if smb is up for a drink or whatever - just hit me up

Pokerwise it went good on 888 the last days, up some more hunnies on my way back to my highpoint, also playing stars again, but more than breakevengrinding for like a month I cant report as I still usually loose all huge all inns deep, mostly with kk vs ax , rarely a flip.

Played a short cash session on 888 yesterday - down 2,5 by-ins at nl30 snap, today up 4,5 by-ins at nl50 snap - games very soft, even most regs weak at best.

was a nice night with excellent deep and minimal house, sweet looking djanes and a very relaxed mixed crowd...

..... long time no post .......... yes you guessed it right, finally a downswing hit me and poker is really hard lately, especially when you have to cash out 2k per month ......

so since the 2nd week of february I am down 4,5k ....... the biggest problem was, that I basically lost 20-30 flips early on fts in a row or on the ft bubble and also bubbled a lot ......... without binks you cant be up in mtts

.... at least I stopped the fall last weeks, I feel its going better again, also found my confidence again, had to drop my abi drastically though....

Still grinding, yes

Had nothing special to report lately, I dropped down with my abi a lot, stabilized my winnings at break even for some time.

Last weeks some good things happened though

- Got 3rd in the 5.- Sunday Marathon on Stars for 1,7k
- Had some smaller binks on 888.

And........................... Drumroll ................

..... I won this in a Freeroll on 888:



Vegas im coming ..... will also take my son Noah with me who is also stoked as hell

update ...... thought the one to two guys reading this deserve an update

obvious questions answered:

- no I did not quit, neither did I have a bad downswing
- yes - 2019 was difficult, not loosing, but not enough winning to stay pro
- my game was also deteriorating, due to running bad, but also not studying enough

=> so I joined Standard Backing in Februar and play 100% backed.

Goals / Reasons to join a stable?

- to take away the mental toll the constant bad beats on final tables in 2019 took on me (when your life roll is on the line at every big final table, running bad is horrible)
- to improve my studying
- to get coaching I could not afford on my own
- to be able to move up quicker, the cash outs that I need regularly makes it hard to move up on my own roll

How is it going? Great

- Standard Backing is great to work with, no issues at all
- The coaching pays off a lot, especially in the late game playing shallow, my general winrates went up to well over 10bb/100
- They already move me up in stakes, I play up to 55.- daily, on weekends / series 109s and smts 215s

Whats Next?
- I have to step up my studying game. Shout out to my Coach Pavol here, who is (with all the reasons) busting my ass.
=> If I finally get my act together and seriously study for like 2 hours a day, I am sure that I will multiply my winrate in the next months!

I moved to Rijeka / Croatia for now (since August, will mbe stay here for some time, not sure, got family and a lot of friends here) .... some pics:

Quick Results update:


.... had a couple of difficult months - was down 3k ...... last month ok again.

The main issue is, I cant close out big spots - had several fts / ft-bubbles with 4-6k up top, when having a big stack I clashed with cl in preflop all ins and lost kk<qq, kk<ajo(bvb) ......... when being shorter, lost all flips or ran into monsters with my reshoves ........ its like year 3 of having ft-cancer now ffs?

Life wise, I am still in Rijeka, but a bit moody & low energy. Swimming season is over, which quite killed my motivation for serious workouts and the Covid killed almost all social life (big news haha). The upside is - when the weather is nice its still 20C during the day

Oh - hmm ..... study wise I still suck, outside of my coaching sessions, discord and watching vids and some twitch ...... far away from professional

The upside - since the new lockdowns the games are soft af again

just to keep this thread alive, my graph since my last post .....

had rough 3 months, but last month was nice ....... the work with my coach seems to pay off, I have consistently deep runs (profit or not then comes mostly from variance how you run on fts imho)

also, beach weather in croatia is incoming again, so will probably post more pics soon
