Re: Living in Thailand on $200/Month - 100BI's, 1 Year Expenses

I always thought that if OP would fail, that could help him as it would force him to take a good look on himself and his way of approaching poker/life and eventually turn things around by being more critical and looking for help and advice.

Now when I see him grinding for cents and trying to make 10 push ups in a row while living in worse conditions than an average thai person and still being an arrogant pr*ck thinking he's doing everything right and just failed for bad luck/extenral factors, I'm not sure what (if anything) can help him. Guess most likely outcome for him is eventually going postal and murdering a freelancer or adding to the long list of depressed farangs that decide to make an early check out.

Your judgement has brought you to living in a vermin-infested shack in the Third World. Additionally, you are working full time, but because you aren't good enough to beat the games, you are effectively paying to work. It's great to have faith in yourself but at some point you should consider that you are bad at making decisions and that other people know better than you.

Taking a 3 month break from the blog. This is like a doctorate program for me and none of you are honest actors. Just looking for a train wreck to occur.

I'll just go buy a blender from Big C so when I want to mutilate myself emotionally, I have new ways to go about it.

I'd recommend you go troll wynner's thread, that one seems like it'll go places.

Peace out for now bitches.

When you see me again I'll start a new thread titled "Year Of The Beast"
man i really hope you take the 3 months for some self-reflection and actually be honest with yourself. Just admit to yourself that you ARE a losing player. You played 300k hands and lost 60bi (i think those numbers are correct, not huge deal, just remembering what tiggy said), just admit that you suck and youre a losing player. Stop with this **** trying to justify it by saying its just all coolers. It isnt.

Whats likely happening is that youre experiencing a bunch of coolers, ignoring all the times youre coolering everyone else, missing a hugeeeee amount of spots in small-mid pots. And oppo are just playing those spots better. Or youre just so **** bad vs fish.

Coolers over this sample shouldnt even be in your mind if you ask me. But youre so focused on it. Youre focusing on the wrong parts of handhistories to improve. Dont know why you dont just upload your db somewhere, what u got to lose, youre already a losing shitreg. Only thing that can happen is to get a somewhat unbiased opinion on your losing shitreggyness.

Also as, why ignore this?

its somewhat important. I was pretty neutral in this thread until you decided to be a complete ******* over nothing (which again, you were very wrong in). Its like you block all the "trolls" (aka most people you been a **** to) and then want to feel better than everyone who is neutral so you try to **** on them on some form or another. Nobody in this thread owes you ****, its a public blog, if they dont want to give you free full-indepth advice and coach youu, then you say thx for the advice, maybe think about what they said, and move on. But you just take it somehow, to be negative towards you.

And really, trying to use virgin as an insult? Theres nothing wrong with being a virgin, and you moved to thailand to be a sexpat. So i imagine you wasnt exactly having much sex before. Own it and stop projecting so much everywhere.

Just imagine - grown man battling bed bugs, chatting to them tinder bitches (maybe meet one or two if upswing), 555, more 555, 20 tabling NL10 for 15h no breaks 7 days a week etc etc. Amazing!

How are our situations even remotely comparatively troll-worthy?

I'm relatively financially free, living by the beach in arguably the most beautiful county in England, have a nice house and great family, am fit and healthy, about to complete a £20million house build for one of the richest and most famous celebrities in the world, play poker mainly for enjoyment of study and actually understand the game to some degree/how to use solvers (which remind me that I'm still terrible, as most of us are).

You're living in relative squalor, possibly still over-weight with a head full of absolute nonsense, trying to make a living out of a game you're terrible at and don't understand.

The only similarity between our situations is that we both came from very adverse backgrounds - just one of us did everything he could to improve his life whilst the other refused to accept/understand reality, and therefore couldn't even get past the starting line.

i was only half joking about being his roomate to use it as material for a memoir - would legit be a best seller but not sure if feeling the need to keep my bedroom door locked (big if assuming grindhouse would have private rooms with doors) at all times and sleeping with a shiv under my pillow would be worth the book deal

OP has entered the time chamber.

I seriously was not ****ing around when I said I would have the last laugh.

My resolve and resilience is greater than anything any of you can comprehend.

A metamorphosis is coming. There is a beast inside of me that is dying to come out. It is hungry. It is craving. It is being contained.

It needs to breathe ...

It needs to feast ...

Volume II will come ...

The Beast is coming ...

Thanks OP, I cringed so hard I threw my neck out.

Normally I'd expect you to pay the chiro bill but that's your food for the next 3 months so I guess you need it more than me.

starts good with graphs so you can get involved in the story, then for the last 70% of the pages there is not a single result after his initial heater ends, dont waste the time

I never in my wildest dreams would associate someone being proud to work for a wealthy man as a sign that he has everything in life.

I took it more as a "I have gainful employment that I enjoy and it allows me to live a modest lifestyle in a nice area" more so a middle class dream than a look at my yacht type of post

Taken as intentioned, although I work for myself. Fwiw, I have a self-converted camper/motorhome and I prefer to spend as much time as possible away from material things (barring the essentials)
