to put it another way, it's possible to have a b/e foundational winrate under such conditions of mass volume + mass session time + unhealthy daily routine and also go on the most extreme string of coolers one has ever witnessed.

In no way did I argue the reason I lost money after all that time was exclusively because of the coolers.

But the fact remains the 50 BI plummet did still occur and the b/e foundational winrate didn't help at all when it occurred.

But fwiw I still made a profit bc of rake back but FML it wasn't as much as I wanted. Shoulda had an extra $2k at least if not for the plummet.

if he is better than you he wouldn't have lost 50, he may have lost 20, or 30 where you lost 50, it's a possibility you need to consider

Today I learned if your win rate is -60 BI, you can just call it -50 BI and then exclude all 50 BI because they were coolers so really you broke even and then who can even say you're not a winning player?

actual coolers are not really relevent on the long run as they're going to happen to your competition as much as they happen to you, there are ways to navigate the game tree which allows you to be more often on the good side of it though
