Living in Thailand on 0/Month - 100BI's, 1 Year Expenses Living in Thailand on 0/Month - 100BI's, 1 Year Expenses

Yo what's uuuupppp everyone. So I'm starting a new challenge thread as I have made some pretty big life changes recently.

If anyone remembers me, you might remember I was a struggling low/micro stakes grinder. Since then I have established myself as able to consistently beat 25NL on any site and 50NL as well. 100NL has continued to evade me.

The challenge is to get to $10,000 profit by the end of 2020. That gives me 12 months exactly.

My current living conditions in Thailand is $200/month. Here is my budget list.

Apartment 2,100 Baht ($70 USD)
Internet (Free wifi, seems to work fine)
Electricity 300 Baht ($10 USD)
Laundry 150 Baht ($5 USD)
Food 1,200 Baht ($40 USD)
Cold Water Cost 450 Baht ($15 USD)
Entertainment 750 Baht ($25 USD)
Haircut, Taxi costs, Phone costs 300 Baht ($10 USD)
Stack and Tile subscription 300 Baht ($10 USD)
Random **** 300 Baht ($10 USD)

For food I have primarily gone vegetarian out of necessity, not desire. If you eat rice and eggs every day and add in 2 or 3 pieces of garlic clove, a piece of an onion and a few pieces of local vegetables, eating an entire month on $40 USD is totally possible. Been doing it for a few months now.

Entertainment costs usually exceeds $25/month, but I'm always trying to fight the urge. Bubble Tea and Pork Belly is just so hard to say no to. Also bitches cost money.

Everything else is doable. Haircuts cost $2 here, you can walk most places so no need for taxis all the time.

Here are a few snapshots of my winrates because who wants to read anything if I can't prove I am at least beating 25NL?

The 1st image is almost exclusively 4 tabling zoom on pokerstars

The 2nd image is from another site that is bot infested

I would like to say a lot of the 1st picture was also when I was under a lot of emotional stress because loooooooooove problems

I have recently fixed that issue and I have a new found fire inside me to outperform my expectations and goals.

Both pictures are filtered for 25NL only.

My bankroll is set up so I have 100 BI's at 25NL and 1 full year of living expenses. So my baseline is (100*25) + (200*12) = $5,000

+ $1,000 emergency fund, you never know what crazy **** can happen.

So $6,000 is my base. Once I hit $6,500 I take 10 shots at 50NL (not really shots I have already beaten 50NL as well just don't have the bankroll for it currently because I just paid out a lot of money for a 1 year visa and some coaching)

Basically my monthly/daily goals are to get 100,000 hands/month and 3 hours per day of study time. That would be 8 to 9 hours every day of poker related stuff.

Well let's end the introduction and get to it.

So sick. How long have you been living on $200? What area in Thailand? Pics of micro grinder room and setup.
4 tabling zoom 180k hands should be 1 month of grinding?
11-19-2019 , 02:57 AM
Very sick stuff indeed. Cheapest place Ive ever seen for rent was 4.5k for a studio in Chiang Mai. Wish you the best of luck and definitely going to follow.

Say what?

Why would anyone wanna live like this... it scares me that someone would play poker to maintain this kind of life

If your not trying to improve your probably better off grinding lower for a higher hourly and enjoy life a bit, buy yourself a steak and a beer!

Hope it works out anyway's

You do know that bodog is available in thailand and that braindead people like you can win at 100nl?

sigh.. reg date: 2013 and barely beats 25nl.. at that point just teach english at a shitty school for 1000$ per month, its like 4hrs of work.
11-19-2019 , 03:51 AM
Jesus Christ dude. I respect minimalism and all... but $80 a month for entertainment and food?? How is dating an option for you?
11-19-2019 , 04:00 AM
lmao. pics of ur apartment?

btw u can buy a lump of rice for like 10 baht, then get one or two of those chicken/pork bbq sticks for 10 baht each...add some soy sauce/tomato/bbq sauce...surely this is better than vegetarian BS.

1 month so far living on $200/month. It was $400/month but I recently made some extreme budget cuts. I'm happy with it. I don't 4 table zoom any more, It's hard for me to do 1,000/hour. Which is why I think the 1.6 winrate is not too bad considering I was usually doing 500 to 600 hands/hour before I did zoom and I was under severe emotional stress that basically paralyzed me. 8 tabling normal tables using stack and tile software should get me 100k hands a month with 5 hours per day of grinding.

Who said I want to live like this?

I am 1,000% ready to improve every day. This thread is more motivation.

I can still drink a beer every week and eat meat once in a while. I'm fine lol

I have a bankroll I need to follow. I can beat 50NL at 2.5 to 3bb as well, but don't have the bankroll for it let alone 100NL.

Please keep underestimating me and talking ****. I thrive on it. I'll send you money every month through paypal if you keep posting negativity. I mean this 1,000%. Please subscribe and humiliate me every day, it will help me improve.

$80/month in Thailand is like $320/month in USD. It's very possible to do this and still date. As I said I break the $25/month entertainment budget regularly but I always try very hard to stay within it.

Or you can buy a bag of rice for 99 baht ($3 USD) and eat it for a month.
2 bbq sticks and a lump of rice is 20 baht and only about 500 calories. I can eat close to 2,000 calories every day for only $40/month. My method is better =)

I will post a 1 hour long video every day for my own development and motivation. (error is occurring but might be due to not giving the video enough time to upload onto You Tube.) I find that speaking the problems out loud and having a conversation with yourself (or invisible viewers) helps a LOT. I will get back into this routine.

I am happy to coach 2NL-25NL players for pretty cheap if you are interested. $50/month and you get 1 hour every week of coaching and you can send me HH in this thread or in skype. I have 10 years teaching experience as I am a classically trained pianist. So you get a proven winner at 25NL/50NL and an experienced teacher.

Grew up near rural Kentucky. The least you'll pay for rent is $300, and you need a vehicle to get around. So probably like $600 or $700 if you do nothin but grind and eat rice and eggs lol

Gl op! I like what you are trying to achieve and the way you are doing it. Wish you can stay focused and motivated*
