We check, villain bets $14.73, we check raise to $51.46 villain shoves for $92.98 total. We call. Show use the 65dd buddy. Nope? Just some goofy ass Qd??? Nice 3bet on the river there buster.
UTG limps Villain UTG+2 raises to $8, small blind calls, we raise to $32 and only villain calls.
Flop ($70.30) K44ssh
Beautiful flop. We check and villain bets $68.14, we check raise him all in for $128.80 total about 60 more and he calls. This is kind of a weird one because my inclination is to continue to slow play and just call and check on the turn. But if I do that then I don't think he's going to continue trying to bluff too often. The jig will be up. We're out of position so if I just call then the turn probably goes check check. And I'm probably betting the river not checking and there's a good chance he folds then. Or if check turn and river good chance he just checks it back twice. I think seeing his hand and seeing the results that I made the right play. Generally when someone bets over half of their remaining stack on the flop they're going to call off the rest even with an air hand like A9 here because there's still two cards to come and they're getting such a great price.
Btw I bluffed off a stack in a pretty stupid fashion so I'm about breaking even right now.
Nope. I win more than I lose but nothing crazy. I've been thinking about timing my play and actually recording my results in a spreadsheet so I can figure out my winrate. Coming soon.
Yeah I've been looking to branch out to other sites. Not really interested in getting staked, I like playing with my own money. I don't need to be staked to play on pokerbros right? I just need to find an agent I can trust and transfer him money?
We used to play this all the time back in the dorms. And do the dance and sing along and everything. Fun times!
Yeah I don't play there but you need to find an agent and cash in and out with him so there's an obvious sketchy factor
the lslnl lc chat thread seems like everyone is on it and raving about easy games
Dream Crusher introduced me to an agent but sadly pokerbros has surprisingly skillful geolocation software which totally shocked me
Uf! I got beat up pretty bad there at the end, lost a couple of buyins to end the night on a down note. Not fun. Lost $88 playing tourneys I might just stop playing them altogether cause I don't like it adding to the variance so much. Who knows.

This a opportunity for you to start playing MORE tourneys to decrease the variance. It's a great chance for you to go on a sun run and be able to get some fine ass women to mingle in the van with. Also to treat your grandma for all the generosity she has shown towards you.
Remember dude if you ain't first your last. And remember it doesn't matter if you win by a itch or a mile winning is winning.
I sense a possible future one drop appearance from you. You just can't throw in the towel when times get tough. Even the best players played for years everyday for hours. Some played for over a decade for hours everyday to get to where they are on the hendon mob leaderboards.
Hero opens to $6, villain raises to $18, everyone else folds, we 4bet to $46 villain calls.
Flop ($91) T83r
We bet $30 and villain calls.
Turn ($151) 2h
We check. If villain has KK or QQ here he's going to ship this turn, might as well give him some rope to hang himself with other hands as well. Villain ships $121 and we call and win.

You're right I'm thinking about it all wrong. We keep a tourney or two a day to keep the 'rona away.

Any plans of renting/ buying a place now that you are working full time?
Good luck buddy
Welcome brother! Thanks. Yeah I've been thinking about renting a place. Need somewhere to play online poker when my grandma isn't away. My job cut my pay by 20% about a month ago because of corona so I quit and applied for unemployment. I'm looking to do some other type of work. My job wasn't paying me enough as it was and it had me crawling around under houses with dead rats, rat feces, tons of fine dust, rocks, all sorts of hazards. I told them I'd be happy to come back to work if and when they restore my pay to full but really I'm trying to find some other kind of job.
Your job cut your pay and still made you work under the same conditions? Yeah I would have taken unemployment too lol that's ridiculous!
Also quick Q, is racist AA the red ones or black ones? Im thinking red but wanted to be sure. cheers
Yeah 20% pay cut is ridiculous. Especially for me when I can play online poker. I'd rather bag groceries for minimum wage then breathe in dust and rat feces. I had a respirator but those things aren't perfect.
UTG+1 opens for $6, UTG+2 villain calls $6 we 3bet to $24 from the BB and both call.
Flop ($69) 533xxh
We bet $24 only villain calls
Turn ($117) 7h
We go all-in for $146(probably a bad move) and villain calls. We're a slight favorite, can we hold?
Spoiler:
No. River Kh.
Gonna take a break before I get tilted any further. Lost $44 MTT KK<K9<JT all in pre and lost $55 MTT TT<A8<KJ.
Only down about $100 on the day though so can't be too upset.
That will earn you one cross burned on your lawn. Gotta keep the black aces with the black aces and the red aces with the red aces. As god intended. Mixing aces goes against the bible. I read that in Super System, just ask Doyle.
Villain checks, we bet $6 and villain check raises to $24.98. I go with the tried and true 3bet all-in to $185 total. Villain doesn't snap call thank god. He timebanks then eventually calls with 98os. I'm gonna be so tilted if I lose this hand but somehow we hold on and win. The poker gods have heard my prayers and spared me. This time.

It's good so far. Read the first couple of chapters.
Took some ridiculous bad beats today. KK<JJ, QQ<ATss all in on 443ssx flop, JJ<97 on T88 flop, and just lost nut flush all in on turn vs top two pair. I min cashed in the $162 to offset some of the losses but goddamn I ran into some beats today. Down about $400 right now, could be worse. It could always be worse...
