Didn't play any tournaments yesterday. Made that easy money instead. Doing a lot of reading and hiking. My job temporarily cut my pay by 20% for an undefined amount of time last week which is not acceptable to me. So I'm not working and I'm going to try and file for unemployment. Not sure if I'll get it but I don't give a **** either, my job ain't easy and not worth taking a pay cut. Feels like yesterday was a sign from the poker gods that I made the right call. Never know.

This is irrelevant. Your either first or last.

You need to drop down to pokerstars.net and play the play money mtt's until you get a couple of wins under your belt then move up to the 2 $1.10 mtt's played each day on ignition get a few wins there and then move up to the 2.20s. Repeat this all the way to the $215s. Might take 10 years. Also whats happening with the women? If your not getting any women you might need to find the ugliest girl you can find and give her a good time. Might take another 10 years to be banging super models on the regular.

Just looking at the mtts on ignition you could up the stakes if your confident and play a $109 100k next week. Would be sick if you can bink one of the bigger mtts. 14k+ for first.

With the women you just have to bink the 14k and hire a lambo and drive around LA picking up super model broads in it and take them to your van or if the weather permits it bang them on the bonnet of the lambo.

Just lost a $500 pot with AA<KK all in preflop, dagger king on the river. Earlier I lost a $600 pot with 22 on 332hhx flop vs AThh and 33. Fack. Down almost 400 so far today.

"You live in a van how can you play 200nl online? LIAR!"

Here's the hand histories.

Under Full Vs Quads

Hero CO ($230) 22
Villain 1 SB (covers) AThh
Villain 2 BB ($200) 33

2 limps to hero in the cutoff and we call. SB raises to 12, BB calls another player calls another folds and we call closing the action in position.

Flop (~$50) 332hhx

SB bets $30 BB calls and we call too.

Turn ($140) 4x

SB jams BB calls and we call too. Won a little $60 sidepot but lost the $600 main pot. 332 two tone is literally the best flop besides flopping quads for us there and we're drawing dead

Of Course

Hero CO ($250) AA
Villain UTG+1 (covers) KK
Villain 2 UTG+3($190) ??

Villain 1 min raises UTG+1 to 4 villain 2 3bets to 15 we put in the cold 4bet to 38. UTG+1 jams other guy folds and we call. Feeling good but my heart gets torn out on the river king. Of course he gets there.

The Hell Could He Have?

Hero SB (covers) AKos
Villain 1 UTG+3 ($300) ??
Villain 2 CO ($200) ??

Villain 1 opens to 6, villain 2 calls we 3bet to 28 from the small blind both villains call.

Flop ($82) Q93ssx

We c-bet $32, villain 1 folds and villain 2 raises to $72. What possible value hand could he have here? If he somehow has a queen or better it's highly unlikely he would raise me on this flop in position. This just has to be a cheap attempt to buy it. We jam all-in for ~$100 more and he folds. Yippy!

Cracked

Hero BTN (covers) AA no diamond
Villain HJ ($200) 97hh - Same guy that bluffed the previous hand history

The cutoff posted $2 dead. Villain opens to $8 we 3bet to $24 and only villain calls.

Flop ($50) 972ddx

Villain checks we bet 26 and villain check raises to 74. No reason to raise here, we just call.

Turn ($197) 5d

Villain jams $102 and we call. He has us beat and his hand holds up. Ouch. And he's left the table =(.

Played a couple of MTTs. Busted the $55 just before the money and min cashed a $33. The $33 was a turbo that I late regged and there were like 60 at the end of registration and 44 made the money. I was able to min cash by stealing one round of blinds and stalling. Pretty stupid how easy it is to make the money by late regging these tourneys. I probably would have made the money without even stealing a round, it was maybe 10 or 15mins from late reg to the money.

Remember if you ain't first your last.

It also doesn't matter if you win by a quarter of a mile or a inch winning is winning. Start winning.

Well I won today. My internet died like 30 mins ago while I was still in the $33 turbo and it only now came back. I finished 10th. Oh well, I was low on chips and 1st place was only $937 so I didn't lose much in the way of EV. No biggie.

Rewatching Breaking Bad cause nothing else interests me. If anyone has any recommendations for Netflix or Amazon Prime or any other streaming service, I'm all ears.

I, Claudius

it's slow as all heck, and is basically a filmed play more than a traditional tv show, also super old and very low budget so mostly just conversations in single locations

but I, Claudius is considered by many to be one of the greatest tv shows of all time and all the full episodes are available on youtube

super slow, even as someone who loved it, getting past the first episode or two was a chore, but man it's best tv ever made in my opinion - also got some all time great actors in - easily one of the best acted tv ever

Assuming you watched Better Call Saul.

But if you have Amazon Prime that has some good shows too.

I think you'd like Sneaky Pete and Goliath.

But some Netflix ones:
Ozark
Peaky Blinders
Waco
Mindhunter
Punisher
Atypical
Russian Doll
Glow
Good Girls
Workin Moms
Dead to Me

I made a royal flush today using both hole cards. I emailed support so I should be getting a $100 bonus.

I play from my grandma's house. I'm only like semi-homeless. My grandma spends about 50% of her time over at her boyfriend's and I catsit for her while she's gone. And I visit about twice a week when she's not away to shower and use the internet.

If you get into I Claudius, I can recommend the book of the same name, and the sequel. I rarely enjoy books written a long time ago but they were amazing.

Feels like my game has been on point as of late. Some rungood doesn't hurt either.

He Married It

Hero BB (covers) A8dd
Villain UTG+2 ($120.60) 86sd

Villain limps UTG+2, cutoff limps and BTN limps too, we check in the big blind.

Flop ($8.45) Kh5d4d

Everyone checks

Turn ($8.45) 7h

We bet $4 and villain min raises to $8, the other two guys fold and we call.

River ($23.75) Qd

Yahtzee! We river the nuts and check to villain. He bets $10, we check raise to $40 praying for a call or a shove. He obliges and shoves for $70.60 more and we happily call. He married his hand on the turn. I used to have the same problem, probably a lot of new players do where they overplay/can't get away from a hand that was the nuts on one street or another. Easy money. Obviously he should not be jamming that river, probably shouldn't even call the raise.

Three Sixes

Hero BB (covers) 66
Villain 1 CO ($213.64) KJhh
Villain 2 BTN ($26.14) T9os

UTG+2 limps, UTG+3 raises to 6, cutoff, dealer both call, we call in the big blind and the limper calls. 5 ways to the flop.

Flop ($29.45) 962hhx

We check and UTG+2 bets half pot $14.73, UTG+3 calls, CO calls, BTN jams for $20.14 total, we check shove. Considering there's a dry side pot that I'm shoving into this jam is really strong. But I'm trying to deny any draws the equity to hit and maybe I get called by worse somehow. Only the cutoff calls with KJhh which is really bad imo. Turn is the 2 of hearts and he's now drawing dead and the short stack all-in needs a nine to scoop the main. He misses too and we scoop a nice $475 pot.
