It's not like I don't know what the right play is but sometimes I'm just overcome by some unreasonable fear, monsters under the bed, fear of losing, fear of looking like an idiot that I just end up playing bad and losing and making things worse. Time to take my fear and put it aside. It's ok to be afraid but it's not ok to let it affect my decision making anymore.

You've been mentioning going broke lately. Why haven't you dropped down to 5/5 full time yet? It's better for your roll in more ways than one not the least of which you say its much easier than 5/10

Yup, moving down immediately. I thought about just busting myself down to the $200 game but I'll give myself a small shot at 300-500 first. I wouldn't mind getting a part time job at this point. Even if I start winning again my plan right now is to apply for my old job at the end of the summer. T'was a good gig, $20/hr, 4 hours work in the morning 730-1130 and then I was off the rest of the day, perfect time to drive over to the Commerce and grind.

Eff trying to win, i'm trying not to lose! I'm just going to play the most tight aggressive game imaginable. Taking it easy. If I continue losing to zero it ain't a big deal I'll just get a job or whatever.

Yesterday I got to the casino in the middle of the day and I realized that I didn't want to be there. Anyone ever get that feeling? Do you force yourself to go in and play? Well I have and I know it's generally a terrible idea. Like a dog, I needed to go for a walk. Such a beautiful sunny day after being overcast and rainy for a while. Carpe diem! So I went for a little hike yesterday at Griffith Park. I realized yesterday that my losses at the poker terrible are because I've lost my religion. Well not anymore! I'm back to worshiping the sun. It gives life giving rays. Imparts energy that other people can see and feel from you. Animal magnetism. It irradiates you with it's power and you reflect the sun's prowess when you're around other people. I don't trust people who reflect too much of the sun. Aka white people. One of the four white devils: white flour, white sugar, white dairy, and white people. I don't fuxx wit 'em. Get that sun on you white devil! Purify that evil white skin with the great star's burning rays!!!

good updates. $5k is OK for poker but I'd suggest very strongly taking stock of your expenses immediately. I guarentee you're blowing money on **** you dont need. eliminate attrition as a cause of going busto.

Yoyoyo, it's not too bad. You can drive right up to the observatory I believe, but the hike is definitely the cooler way to go. I'm down to go if I'm in LA at the time. Let me know as the date gets closer.
