You gonna fire any of the smaller buyin tournaments next month like the $350 100k or the $570 400k? Don't know how much faith you got in your tourney game and i said this in your thread before but i think occasionally firing tourneys in this buyin range is something you should be doing cuz when you do get there it'll obviously be a significant boost to your roll and put you in a much better place life/bankroll wise

Fo shizzle. I'm a degen at heart, my bankroll can afford to take some hits....speaking of hits, my bong is calling me. "Hello, Bong".

I wanna play the dealer's choice MTT $570 Feb 15th. And maybe some others. And I'm gonna play the $1100 One Milly tourney and the 1day1million $1100 satellite.

Man, I loved this! This format is a home run in my book. Tone was perfect. Length was perfect. You picked an interesting hand and then gave some good advice after the hand. I really liked the stripped down graphics as well. It really just looked like a guy telling a poker story in his van, haha. Well done man. Keep 'em coming!

Is that you Justin? Don't tell everybody how bad I am lol!

This is literally the next hand after the AJdd in the video.

Luck Factor

Hero UTG +1 (covers) QQ
Justin BTN (1490) AA

Hero opens to 35 one caller and Justin 3bets to 150 hero 4bets to 450 and Justin 5bets all-in. I stupidly call it off.

Bang, queen on the turn. It's the third spade and Justin has the ace of spades but somehow we actually end up sucking out and winning! One for the home team! I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've ever put a bad beat on somebody.

España!

Eduardo CO (covers) AKos - Young spanish pro.
American Rec HJ?? (~650) JJ??
Hero MP (1350) KK

Two limps in front of hero and we raise to 60. Rec behind us 3bets to 185. Eduardo cold 4bets to 400, folds to us and after about a minute we go all-in. Rec folds and the Spaniard makes the call. Ace on the flop. Silver lining is there's three threes on board so we get a ticket and all he gets is the almost 3k pot. Whatever, back at it today.

Played for a little bit and won a little bit. I'm getting distracted in ways that my hand can not undistract me. Something has to be done about this. Next girl that smiles at me is gonna get it.

From the blackjack score to the end of 2018 you made around $35,000 yet your bankroll/life roll didn't go up much if at all.

Damn that's some high spending considering you don't pay rent.

That's the same recipe for disaster that many winning players do all
the time until they are broke. Thinking the money will just keep rolling
in to pay for the high expenses and don't have a safety net for
that eventual downswing.

I guess if you are fine going back to being a bus driver it's all gravy.

I kind of want to go back to driving a bus. Easiest job in the world. Part time 4 hours 7am-11am $20/hr. Driving around a bunch of college students to UCLA. When I want to church things up I tell people I used to work for UCLA and just leave out the part about being a bus driver.

Something's not right though I don't think I won that much.

Is that 35k including the BJ score? Also curious about these numbers.

+1 to doing part-time bus driving. You need some sort of steady income, not trying to be mean but I don't think you're a long-term winner at 5/10 (especially with your roll).

Why not drive bus 4 hours a day and play poker a few hours a day?

Recently I feel I've been playing a slightly winning game at 5/10. Most of my leaks stem from overthink and being underrolled. I just need to settle down and be more patient. I'm gonna put a lot of hours in over the next few months so we shall see if I can at least be a short term winner.

Up in the month of January after ~180 hours. But not by much, barely more than the QQ>AA hand I won so you could say I got lucky.

Yeah kinda what I'm thinking. If I had a job I could degen it up even more. Right now I could bet everything go broke and visit the social security office and get $192 worth of food stamps that same day as long as I can claim under $100 and no income. Bang! Safety net mother****ers!!!!! I got foodstamps and a bus driving job waiting for me!!! Time to go out Mike McD style, you might catch me playing 20/40 with up to 100% of my roll in play!!!! Weeeee!!!! (Realistically max 80% of my roll, still want to keep a few buy-ins to grind 5/5)

Good point, Rick did you post ALL sessions on here?

And your roll was ~15k or so before the BJ win iirc?

So with +35k, you're at roughly only +5k, thus have spent 30k in the last 5 months. You need to seriously keep track of your finances.

No Im pretty sure I was under 10k when I won at bj. And I posted all my results in 2018 ITT. I missed some after I started the vlog but all the results are in my graph. Good chance I have a massive hole in my pocket. I'm going to have to start cutting back on the hookers and the blow, reluctantly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention guys. I might have to start playing better. I'm watching and learning from the best. Definitely getting a lot of experience and hours at the table.

I got stacked by Gary tonight and I feel pretty crappy about it. It wasn't a bad beat, I didn't get unlucky, I got outplayed. I'll post the hand later. Also didn't handle it very well. Kind of whined about it for several hours. Still whining.
