Yes, it's urban dictionary - that's kind of important.

Gay never meant lame or stupid, but it came to mean that colloquially - I think it's pretty obvious why that happened. Just because some people started using it that way doesn't mean it's right. But just because we don't know if they're bigoted or not doesn't mean we need to accept their offensive language. And with Rich already on 95 points, a constant problem on our forums, and very obviously knowing why people have an issue with his use of the word yet showing no desire to change, it was an easy ban IMO.

I have always respected the Bobo, and the fact that he took the time to write this out enhances that.

People come back from bans with new accounts all the time. Some of them are able to change their ways at least a little bit and fly under the radar. We've even had some that became very good posters. Others come back and continue the same thing they did previously, and are not long for our forums.
