Playing too big is always going to lead to scared money, more passive lines. I've experienced this many times when I took shots at 5/T/20 NL and 5/T PLO. The game just plays SO much bigger than 3/5 and players play so much more aggressive -- it can be intimidating.

A lot of us, we need constant reminders to stay humble. If we're learning to be humble, I think anything can be considered a success.

Anyway, just wanted to reflect on what numerous ppl itt told you about playing higher. You were talking about 2/5 scared regs not going up and how you're the boss and it went down like you're that scared reg. I'm sorry for being too harsh, I didn't want to sound so toxic and negative. Didn't want to comment itt while you were on heater but it was pretty obvious what would happen. It's normal being overconfident while on heater but you sounded too deluded by it.

Thanks for asking. It was great! I didn't lose any money!!! I went to the dry cleaners yesterday (I'm gonna start wearing a suit to the poker table). And while I was waiting for the drycleaning I went on a hike to the hollywood sign again. Got lost along the way and ended up doing an extra couple miles but I've got the trail burned into my memory and I could find my way up there again. It feels good, I need to get out and move around more.

I'm all aboard the Stratis train right now. Think when it fully deploys all its features it will take at least 3-5% of the ico and smart contract market which means a 6-10X gain or so at minimum.

Played 5/5 today, not much drama on my part. There was a guy that was yelling really loud at the Commerce tonight. Don't remember what he said but he was yelling at a guy at the next table. Almost everybody in the poker room stood up to get a look at what was going on, first time I've seen that. Dude got escorted out. Earlier in the night the floorman had come over and was standing behind the guy at the table and the guy yelled at the floorman to "get the eff out of here". Probably should have kicked him out at that point.

I played ok. Made good decisions preflop and was hyperfocused about my position every hand. When you are thinking about position every single hand you are doing something right.

I'm staying away from the Justin Sun hype train. May very well be a good trade but I don't trust it and don't want to risk getting stuck holding those bags. On the bright side Stratis up 15% today

If a guy was to take a trip specifically to play at Commerce, where would he stay to be close to the casino and not have to worry about getting jacked while going for a burger? Its in a pretty bad area right?

I've done this before. I stayed at an Airbnb in a gated community in Commerce for ~$20/night. Way cheaper than any local motel options. 9/10, would do it again. Had a clean room and the people I stayed with were pretty cool.

The area is kinda ****ty but not any worse than where most CA card rooms tend to be located. They have good security at Commerce Casino too.

Commerce is a relatively safe city. Never heard of any poker player being robbed there. The only unsafe places in LA are certain residential streets. I stay at the travelodge a couple blocks away some nights (~$100/night).

Also the food at the casino is pretty good, not much reason to hit up local burger joints imo unless you want the experience.

Yeah I wouldn't be worried Commerce is probably the safest LA casino. When I'm smoking weed in my car a security truck passes by like every 5 minutes.
They have guard posts in the parking lot. You are 100x more likely to get run over in the parking lot then robbed. My friend told me that Hollywood Park & Casino is in a really seedy area. And then you got Crystal Casino in Compton. LA in general is fairly safe city. Only certain residential streets might be unsafe at night and you won't end up there anyway.

If you are white or latino you shouldn't have a problem. If you are black I would be at least slightly worried about staying at an AirBnb in East LA.
