I would say HR tampa is way better than HR Hollywood. For one you could qualify the next 2 weeks and earn 2 different $240 tourney entries for free. Its a pretty decent tourney and it had 165 players on wed. because of all the qualifiers. paid 11k for 1st and total of 16 spots.

on average there is 10-12 games of 1/2nl going at any given time and probly 6-8 games of 2/4 limit.
Its a 50 table room so you got tons of games to choose from they also have 1/3nl with 100-300 buy in.
The 1/2nl games are 40-100 buy in but that is where the schools of fish are. I mean some of the worst players you have seen.

Hollywood HR takes $2 min rake and $2 jackpot drop. Tampa takes $1 min. and $1 jackpot drop.

This thread makes me wana hop on a plane from Toronto Canada - Tampa. I am seriously considering it. Im only 20 so I would be allowed to play poker in all of florida state right? I think im gona come down for a month or 2 depending on what the rules are for playing poker for ppl under the age of 21. I know i cant drink and im fine with that but it sounds like the NL games are so jucy atm down there that i can miss out + Im getting out of the cold.

Just got done with 1/2. Got a 4 dollar comp and had pork with rice and beans. Played a marathon session of 8 hours. +$284. Bankroll=$1,736.00...Imagine where I would be if I saved that 1k I spent on drinking and partying, that whole week I woulda been grinding too! Ahhh, no regrets. I feel like you kind of have to live it up when you can in this industry, because the lows are so low. Anyway, I just had a breakfast sandwich and some pineapple juice. Yes, the whole state is 18+ and WSOP circuit is coming to palm beach kennel club Feb 17th-March 1st and that is 18+ too. Also the WPT is coming to Hollywood HR April 27th-May 3rd. Also 18+ even the 10k telivised main event.

All casino games and slots are 21+.
At Tampa HR you get .60/hour for poker below 2/5nl and $1/hour for 2/5nl and above. They just opened a HR cafe there too. Its nice.

Come to Tampa IMO. There are 3 card rooms within 25 miles. Hardrock Tampa, the silks at Tampa Bay Downs, Derby Lane poker room. The silks has 100nl.

slept on the beach, hung out with Chau, eat eggs benedict on ocean drive. Getting rice and beans now at the hardrock. 1/2 session about to start. Tampa tomorrow...sick life. Saw a $99 deal for a one day all inclusive cruise to the bahamas. Think I might do that in the very near future. Only live once right?
