What are your online cash results? I was also considering playing live, because everybody are talking how soft they are, anyway I am afraid about the variance, 100-200 pounds buy ins is pretty high for me, but I have crashed everything up to nl25 on pokerstars. What is your advice for that?

Live cash is a lot softer than online cash, so if you are crushing NL25 online (especially on Pokerstars) you will have no problems beating the £1-£1 / £1-£2 live games, IF you are able to adjust accordingly.

With any poker game / stake, you need some sort of bankroll in order to withstand the variance. You could take a shot at the £1-£1 games with £500 (five buy ins), but I would advise more like £1,000, then again, if you fancy a spin, rock up with £400 on a Friday night, and just go for it!

Btw. I have one more question. I am living in Brighton, its pretty close to London. Was considering making casino trip to London for a long time. You were talking about casino "the vic(?)", are u talking about Grosvenor on Victoria? I saw they do have the 1/1 games.

Yes, The Grosvenor Victoria Casino, on Edgware Road.

Usually 5 / 6 £1-£1 games everyday, around the clock!

Seeing as today is the 1 year anniversary of my blog I thought I would give this thread a shameless bump!

Although I have neglected this thread I have been chronicling my live cash grind and life in London through almost daily live posts on my blog, as well as recording and publishing all my results transparently both at the end of each session and through results reviews at the end of each month (Menu > Results Reviews).

I have found the blog has given me focus and held me accountable, and it also acts as a fun 'memoir' to look back on.

Although the content of the blog focuses on my grind over the last 12 months in the London cash game scene I just came back from a 3 week WSOP Vegas trip (Menu > WSOP 2019), certainly not quite as entertaining as The Gazzy Experience though I do offer a different perspective to the Vegas grind, a lot less baller, well, actually absolutely no balling whatsoever.
