I was up quite a bit, however, just couldn't hit flops in PLO. $70 here, $80 there. I feel good about my PLO game, it's certainly starting to develop.

Yeah, if anything, they are under charging. They have a free week trial, I'd recommend checking it out

I'm planning a little poker vacation in Maryland Thurs - Sunday. I'm not a huge fan of casino poker these days after being spoiled by private games, however, I'm meeting a few friends in the Maryland area. I'm looking to have a good time.

After playing bigger games lately, it's been fun having a drinks and playing lower limits. I'm still overbluffing in spots when Vs ranged in capped to 1pair. I did enjoy taking down a pot with a 4! A5s deep.

I've also been mixing in some online 6max (no tracking for this thread). Wow, even at the 25 cent / 50 cent level, it's a challenge.

I decided to go downstairs and put in another session. I ran into a set vs my overpair in the first 20 minutes. I grinded back stealing pots here and there for a small win.

I'm hoping to put a few more hours tomorrow morning. I'm traveling for work for a week starting Sun evening.

Life is short. I had a fun trip, heading home early to enjoy an extra day before a week of travel for work.

51 hrs, +$608, $12.45/hr

The last 2 weeks have been easily the most challenging over the last 3 years of tracking results. My first hand today was KK vs A8o AIPF.. and he somehow spikes a river straight. I also lost a $900 pot about 24 hours ago to a river 3 outter. I have quite a few thoughts I'll post after I sleep. I'm proud of how I handled the endless flush over flush and set over set masacre.

August, 11 hours, +$550

I understand how hard bad beats can feel getting only around 25-30 hands/hr in a live environment, but man, it can toy with your emotions. I've seen more flush/flush, set/set and flopped 2 pairs/sets in the last 3 weeks than I care to remember. I recognize this has been getting to me more than it should. I booked a nice small win to take me from negative -$250 (was up over $600 before the set over set hand) at the beginning of the month to +550 for the week. I cut the trip early and decided to step away from poker for a few days to unwind.

Dodged a bullet with Kings. Playing 160bb effective, UTG+1 raises, I 3!, super tight guy 4! I fold and he shows Aces. I'm not in the business of folding Ks preflop, however, he isnt making that move with AK and probably cold calling QQ to see if an A or K flops.

Playing in Maryland for a few days and then another business trip.

Had an unexpected call from work and had to head back home to catch an early flight. I'll be back at MGM next Saturday.

I hate when life cuts into poker, however, I have to remind myself how fortunate I am to have a high paying job and get paid $25-40/hr for a hobby.

I've been flying quite a bit for work lately. I managed to sneak in poker hours over the weekend. I've been enjoying quite a bit of PLO study while playing no stress 1/3. Life is good.

Yeah man, meet up sounds good. When I play PLO, it's mostly 4 card homegame. However, I've scaled back my play quite a bit:

- Cleaning up leaks in 1/3 MGMNH
- Spending my study time on PLO, will start playing again in Oct
- Pulling back from the 1/3/6 and 2/5 homegames for the Summer

My Full time job has been flying me around the country quite a bit. I'm still finding 60-80 hours a month to play NL and about 20 hours a month on my PLO study.

I've been enjoying the no stress play lately.

It's been a minute.

Life has been great, I've recently took a senior director position at my company. While the new position is a fantastic boost in my career, I'm traveling more and have less time for poker. 45-50 hours max seems to be my limit.

Over the last few months I've taken a step back from NL study and focused on mixed games. I'm playing some NL through the week, however, my big focus has been PLO8/PLO, Stud 8, Lowball and Badugi variants at local private games. I've always wanted to play all the games, I'm excited about poker again.
