As I have just finished shipping a couple buy-ins at $1k PLO, I figured what better time to start a thread. Plan is just to have a place to keep track of my overall progress and provide myself with a little motivation. Hoping to also post some interesting spots.
I will be playing both on Bovada and live. I will be playing $200NL on Bovada and tournaments (basically anything up to $162). Live I will have a fair mix of $1/2 to $2/5, which a majority of my volume being at $1/3. Lately a majority of my play has been online, despite living within 10 minutes of Parx.
I am planning on a taking a shot fulltime within the next year. In order to do so, I would like to make quite a bit in the coming months. So in short, plan is to make money.
River:(70.5 BB, 2 players) 8 UTG raises to 71.28 BB and is all-in, CO calls 71.28 BB
UTG shows 7 7 (Full House, Sevens full of Eights)
(Pre 54%, Flop 95%, Turn 91%) CO shows 8 K (Full House, Eights full of Kings)
(Pre 46%, Flop 5%, Turn 9%) CO wins 212.05 BB
Such a troublesome spot. Feels so nitty to fold TPTK to a min raise here, but feel like its burning $ and I should not be planning on folding if I am calling flop min.
$500 effective
V - is a TAG reg. Have played some with him and believe he is mostly straight forward but can make some moves.
Pre-flop: V limps UTG, Hero raise to $20 w. A K, 2 callers and V calls.
Flop ($80) : Q 6 5
V check, Hero bets $35, folds to V who calls
Turn ($150): K
V check, H bets $70, V raise to $200 ...
Spoiler:
Hero folds ...
Hand 2
$550 effective
V1 is a mid to late 20's solid LAG reg that I have played with a bit.
V2 is mid 20's playing well, somewhere between TAG and LAG
Pre-flop: V2 limps EP, OMC raises to $16, V1 flats on B, H flats sb w. A Q, V1 flats ...
Flop ($64): K J T
H checks, V2 checks, OMC checks, V1 bets $50, Hero Flats $50, V2 raises to $210, V1 shoves for $515, H shoves $525, V2 tanks for a bit before calling...
Spoiler:
V2 shows Q 9
Spoiler:
board runs out 5... 6 ... V1 mucks saying he had KJ... Hero scoops
Played 11 MTTs today, free rolled the $162 GSPO3 $250k with points and managed to bricked mostly everything. got 3 $25 KOs in a $135 and cashed a $44 for $99. Played a little $200nl as well and recouped a few dollars.
BB shows 9 A (High Card, Ace)
(Pre 54%, Flop 15%, Turn 5%) Hero shows J K (Flush, King High)
(Pre 46%, Flop 85%, Turn 95%) Hero wins 148.5 BB
Spoiler:
Probably a little too nitty not to ship river. Guy tanked quite a while on river and then raised huge ... Just feel like nut flushes make up a good portion of his value range here and sizing with smaller flushes and straights is likely smaller... my sizing was to induce thin value/air raises or get called by 1 pair hands
Decided to make a small deposit on BCP ($400), mainly for MTTs, but will likely try to run it up grinding 50nl as I got a 200% bonus + the standard rakeback (points conversion).
Played some $50NL on BCP & some $200NL on Bovada tonight...
BTN raises to 2 BB, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, SB raises to 24 BB, Hero calls 14 BB
Flop:(50 BB, 2 players) A 4 K
SB bets 32 BB, Hero calls 32 BB
Turn:(114 BB, 2 players) J
SB checks, Hero checks
River:(114 BB, 2 players) 5
SB checks,
Spoiler:
Hero bets 132.24 BB and is all-in
Spoiler:
, fold
Hero wins 112 BB
0.16 BB was deducted from the pot for the jackpot.

between the min 3b & some notes suggesting he peels 3b w. very marginal holdings, I think 4b pre is best, when he 5s after the min 3b ... i just don't believe he has a hand that should fall into a standard 5b range. Flop seems like obv check/call. Turn I expect him to shove 100% of his top pair +, River is probably too thin on my part or should have been a small (e.g. $8 - $10) bet with the intention of calling shoves. I ship just to give a likely fish a chance to hero with KQ, JT, QJ, 99, 88, etc. - in retrospect, shove is way too thin
Not a very interesting spot, just not sure about what I should use a river sizing...
Not sure what my standard line should be in this spot ... I prefer to check turn to control pot size and allow him to bet some air on river, value-own himself or check/call a hand he would like fold on turn. Probably should just fire 3 for value here.
Long session of MTTs and a little bit of $200nl once I was down to just a couple MTTs.
Today's Profit: -$42.29
Total Profit: $2,618.75
Stone bubbled the biggest MTT I played, an $82 on Bovada ... shipped 15 bbs on the B with 66 and managed to get snapped by the sb & bb with AQo and KK... bleh.
Not what I expected V to show up with ... set mining here is typically bad, but vs this V I think I get the rest almost every time I bink, so can't be too bad
Wow nice hero/call with KQ like wow lol you remind me of someone ik irl lol what were you thinking that made you hero/call i really want to know badly lmao if you don't mind telling me or if you do it is totally understandable

Was one of those spots where you just feel it lol.
Obv stats suggest he is a fish. When he bombs river after calling quickly on flop and turn, I expect him to be somewhat polarized and the only hands that got there are J8 & 77. I expect 5x to raise turn 100%, 77 to take more time calling flop or turn, Tx to take a little more time on both flop and turn and likley check back somewhat often on river and/or bet smaller. 9x almost always checks back river. A fish likely checks back Ax most of the time. When calling I thought for certain he would have QJ, was suprised by Q6dd (lol flop call).
0.48 BB was deducted from the pot for the jackpot.
Spoiler:
This was probably bad, I just got to river and felt he had Jx or something trying to get me off of Ax. Vs can probably show up thin here, so probably should just fold.
