I didnt even know there were good games in the Phillipines, was originally coming over to surf some half decent waves and find some girls. If you want to party or go play some poker together while I'm over let me know.
Hey, yeah I remember! I think we exchanged a few PMs too.
Sweet. I plan on being in the Philippines from mid-Jan to mid-Feb, so I'll be around for sure.
I'd be down for meeting up in Manila to poker/party and maybe heading to Cebu (they have some half decent waves). I've never tried surfing, but I'm always down for torturing my body trying new things.. so sounds good!
I'll try and send you a PM closer to Jan31st. I have a terri-bad memory so maybe post in here again in a few weeks.
I played a short session of 10NL on Ongame today. Played ~900 hands and won $28. Was a bit above EV. My red line seems to be below $0 which is a bad sign-- I'll have to work on that.
I tried playing a PLO8 session today but got disconnected within minutes in the middle of multiple 10bb+ pots. Pretty tilting... not going to bother checking PT3 to see how much this ****ty internet cafes connection cost me. I've lost $100+ of profit (nearly 10%) due to internet problems in Cebu.
I spent about 6 hours today learning about SEO and building my first SEO-related website. A friend I met in Cebu got me into it. I'm complete noob at the entire thing, particularly the web-admin stuff. Learning how to setup wordpress/plugins/html tables is a pain in the ass.
I've finally got 2 pages on 1000 word articles up. The pages still need some optimizing and editing, but the content is engaging, relevant, and useful.
I'm projecting $600-$1200/mo if I can get #1 in my focus keyword, and 1st page rankings in related keywords. This is probably going to take at least 150 hours of work, and steady maintenance afterwords. I'm thinking ~30 hours for content, ~40 hours for link building, ~20 hours for general optimization, ~50 hours for reading SEO books/videos. At 10-15 hours a week, I should know in about 3 months if SEO is a viable income source for me.
Today I have a flight to Manila where I'll be grinding 4-8 hours a night for the next 4 nights. Volume will depend on girls.
