Hello everybody!

I'll not talk to much about my life and myself outside of poker. That been said here is a short introduction.

I'm a Nl100 zoom regular from middle europe. I don't really consider myself as a mass grinder since I just play 4 tables of zoom at the time. In the last two years my winrate dropped from 3.x to 0.x over a big sample. The biggest impact was last year where the rake went up. I dropped from 1.5 to 0.10 while my game actually became better and better. I'm working hard off tables to become a better player and I find a lot of pleasure doing it. So my game became better while my winrate dropped. For a guy who is trying to make out a living in middle of europe in those stakes this is actually a really bad evolution. My improvement was just not enough in comparison to the competition and the higher rake.

In late 2013 and ealry 2014 I tried to find a alternative to poker and decided to become a Massagetherapist. I achieved this goal and found a job in august 2015 at a 30-50% pensum. Something I'm really proud about tbh.

I was full of hope because now my bankroll is not affected by big cashouts anymore and this was my chance to build more and move up stakes.

I guess since November 1 2015 this dream is over on pokerstars. What now? Sure I could complain about all this changes like a lot of others or just beeing full of anger.. But this will not help me at all. In my point of view pokerstars talks a really clear language by telling me: „ Hey dude, we don't want you anymore in this game“. So strike is in my eyes definitvly not a option since they want guys like me to leave. I think its also naiv to think that Amaya didn't thought all aspects true. A company like this is just exactly knowing what they are doing. They want rec's unaware of playing unbeatable games. Rec's who will place a bad sportbet from time to time against the house, or playing roulette and blackjack againt the house. With grinders, they have competion on the money they are targeting and since the market isnt growing at all, they want this competion gone. End of the story. Onlinegambling will be more and more regulated by nations in the near future. For a company like Amaya this means higher cost's true licenses they will need to pay etc.

I don't want to give up my dream of climbing stakes and become better and I'm not motivated to give up poker. So one more time it's time for us to adapt and going with the evolution because this is what life is about since the beginning.

With this blog I hope to have a nice exange with players in a similar spot, and also maybe inspire others to adapt well.

I will do the next blog entry about my thoughts how I could adapt. But for me its clear, I'm forced to leave pokerstars, focus on finding weaker games on other sites. Playing less volume and focus on better winrate seem's resonable to me.

I'm acutally really happy with the changes about softwares and scripts. Maybe those changes even came a little late. But the cut in rakeback makes it impossible for me to beat the competition at the moment.

I'm sorry for my english but this is the best I can offer..
