Not playing in the $7.50 $250 GTD Razz tournament at 5.15am NZT this weekend. I haven't been able to change my sleeping patterns, as currently i've been getting up at 10am in the morning.

Next week, I will have to get up earlier though, as i'm starting a job training course 9-3pm, so will aim to get up at 4.30am then to play video poker for 90 mins in the morning from 5-6.30am, so I can wake up NEXT WEEKEND for the Razz!

I don’t have an edge. You only get paid on jacks or better. If I wasn’t doubling every time I hit trips or higher, I wouldn’t be making a profit.

Please note, I don’t double on the royal flush or straight flush and I only double once on quads and twice on the full house. The other hands such as trips, straights and flushes I will double x3. This is the formula I have been sticking to. So far so good

you shouldn't be focusing on how much is first place or cashing. you should be focused on your roi. with the $55 you might only have a 20% roi therefore your only going to win $11 each time you play it.

But to be honest, i'm focused on making top 3 in the Razz, so that will give me enough money to play in the Daily Marathon. Nothing in life is guaranteed though and I will have to work for it

does he realize that playing 1 marathon each week of the year hes going to lose 42% of the time and not make any money whats so ever. and ops chances of even playing in 10 marathons are so slim.

if he plays in 10 hes going to lose 67% of the time lol and make zero money.

i wouldn't even take that lol. id quit video poker. watching op constantly getting frustrated throughout his session can't be good for his health. if he understood the math maybe he wouldn't get frustrated since its normal to lose. even in poker, players get frustrated when they are 90% ahead and lose. that **** is normal and is going to happen. for some reason players think it shouldn't happen.

Firstly, i've got to make $55 in the Razz before I even play that NLHE tournament. Top 3 in the $7.50 Razz tourney at 5.13am in the morning NZT will get me there. Razz is one of my favourite games, so let's see how it goes
