First day done (at least the poker part).
Didn't and won't check results.
HH's of the day:
H1 - Villain has a 0% 3bet before this hand... I don't think i beat much (if any) of his value range otr... Not sure there is enough air 3 barreling here to make the river call ok...
Had some difficulties playing due to some computer problems but it's fixed for the moment...
Overall, i'm satisfied with my game and mindset. I've been running bad lately but i think i'm handling it well, which is one of the thing i had as a goal.
I would call QQ otr and take note about the guy . He has a big fold eq cuz u fold many Jacks there . Besides 6 sets combo thats your top range and u fold way to much there . Espacially cuz u are on CO and ranges should be pretty your ranges should be wide

I think you're right. Especially vs a reg ! Though, given the stats i had at the time, i think he is a passive rec but sometimes, those just get crazy... But yeah, for the price, i might have called + note.
H1 - This might seem obvious but i'm not sure... We have to bet this turn ofc but what sizing should we go for otr ? Not sure he is calling AK (the ones he's not 4betting if any) or AQ vs a pot size bet... Still, i have a PSB and i can't really Bet 2/3 pot and fold vs a shove. S i went for a value shove myself.
H2 - Villain is Nitty but don't fold much to 3bets. Flop, i like x/c as i will often take this line with some OP too. Otr, i think it's a great spot to x/c as it leaves him a nice opportunity to bluff his entire air range. thoughts ?
Hey man, you're playing a level or two above me but always enjoy seeing another 6max Zoom blog!
As you say not like you can really b/f river given the stacks back so I think 78 hand is fine and just hope he sigh calls AJ or something
AK I'd bet flop sometimes but think checking is decent too for the reasons you mention and as played when you check flop then I think the turn and river are standard/good
Done for today... It was a pretty rough saturday... I was really tempted to watch results as i think they were poor today. I ended up spewing a bit.
H1: Villain is 29/20 on 85hands and do not fold 3bets. Seems weak but not sure. Feeling like he would stack off AK pre so he can't have it... Still don't like my play here.
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with 9 8 2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $5, 1 fold, CO calls $3.50
Flop: ($10.50) 7 T A (2 players)
Hero bets $5.75, CO calls $5.75
Turn: ($22.00) K (2 players)
Hero bets $40.28 all in, CO calls $31.68 all in
River: ($85.36) T (2 players - 2 are all in)
Spoiler:
Final Pot: $85.36
Hero shows 9 8 (a pair of Tens)
CO shows Q A (two pair, Aces and Tens)
CO wins $82.86
(Rake: $2.50)
H2: I was impressed by Villain for this one; He is 11/11 on 40 hands. After his check back ott, i put him pretty much on 9x and TT to QQ, maybe a weak K. I felt like the A was the perfect card to bluff here. thoughts ?
Final Pot: $33.18
BTN shows A Q (two pair, Aces and Deuces)
Hero shows Q J (a pair of Deuces)
BTN wins $31.69
(Rake: $1.49)
H3: No read on Villains, seems like a calling station for about 50 hands. Not sure about this river call. I need to be good only 30% of the time but does he shove here with KQ, K9 ?
I think i played ok today but not as much as i wanted. Still running bad but i managed to react better to it, so that's an improvement. And i still didn't watch my results which makes it the longest period without watching results. Let's keep going !
H 1 - Not sure about my turn check back here. I think after his flop sizing, he's pretty polarized and he might be x/c AK here. If he's bluffing, he has such a small equity that i felt like checking back but not sure... OTR, i'm always calling to chop, right ?
River: ($27.66) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $36.42 all in, Hero calls $36.42
Spoiler:
Final Pot: $100.50
SB shows 6 7 (a straight, Three to Seven)
Hero shows Q A (a straight, Ace to Five)
SB wins $98.00
(Rake: $2.50) Yeah, i took a note...
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 9 9 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.04, 1 fold, BB raises to $3.37, Hero calls $2.33
Flop: ($6.99) 7 9 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.87, BB raises to $7.58, Hero raises to $17.50, BB raises to $58.67 all in, Hero calls $29.13 all in
Spoiler:
Final Pot: $100.25
Hero shows 9 9 (a full house, Nines full of Sevens)
BB shows K A (a pair of Sevens)
Hero wins $48.88
Hero wins $48.87
(Rake: $2.50)
H1 - Is there anything we can do here ? Villain is a reg. I'm asking myself if he would turn AJ/AT or any made hand into a bluff here... Good spot to do it i guess but he has a lot of Qdx, Kdx in his range here... So is x/f correct ?
So i'm satisfied with my first week in even though i did not grind as much as expected and i skipped my workout too many times. Still, i played ok overall, kept what i think was a good mindset and didn't check my results.
So it's time to upgrade my schedule a bit for the upcoming week and try to make additional steps towards my goals.
Basically, i'll try to stick to this schedule for the next 6 days before taking a new day off. This way, i want to build good habits and a good routine.
7am - Wake up / Meditation 8.30am - Grind 9.30am - Workout 11am - Meditation / Warm up 11.30am - Grind 1.30pm - Grind 2.30pm - Meditation / Warm up 3.30pm - Grind 4.30pm - Cool down / Review 5pm - Active work on mental game or tactical game Evening - Try to be productive -> Read, Learn, Study
Today was way too rough... I pretty much ran into aces 80% of my all in pre...
I gave in an checked my results since i started this thread / blog.
I indeed ran badly but i'm a surprised to be up. A good surprise it is
So here are my results from 10th November until today.
So let's keep moving forward, play more, play better, run better, and not check results until 25th.
HH of the day: Villain is a reg. I'm betting small ott and otr because i don't see him hero call much with anything else than Qx or better if i'm value betting bigger. Hate the x/r river tho... KQ or KK 95% of the time imo / 5% my small sizing makes him turn his hand into a bluff... Thoughts ? Should i bet bigger river, being called less often but narrow even more is x/r bluffing range ?
Think KQo flatts more bb vs mp. (KQs leaves 1 combo on the R ) Makes not much sense for him to X/C your small bet with KQ on the T with let's . Looks like the 3 KK combo's.
Would def bet bigger on T, something like 55%. All AA-KK-JJ will call that amount as well. Don't hate the R sizing but if it makes you think he will bluff a higher % then bet half pot or something. As played I would fold except you have history
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 2 2 2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, 1 fold, BB calls $1
Flop: ($4.75) 2 T T (3 players)
BB checks, CO bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, BB raises to $6.50, CO raises to $11.50, Hero raises to $49.25 all in, BB folds, CO calls $37.75
Turn: ($109.75) 8 (2 players - 1 is all in)
River: ($109.75) A (2 players - 1 is all in)
Final Pot: $109.75
Hero shows 2 2 (a full house, Deuces full of Tens)
CO shows T A (a full house, Tens full of Aces)
CO wins $107.25
(Rake: $2.50)
Played ok today and didn't check results. Felt a bit sick in the morning and didn't play as much as wanted.
Hope to make a great "stick to the plan" full day tomorrow !
H1 - When you know you just need to go full value against Villain because he's not folding:
