I moved back to the US and stopped playing online poker in 2014. From 2012 to 2014 I played online regularly, multitabling low limit cash games and playing low limit guarantee tourneys. I made a comfortable profit, but was not playing full time. Life brought me back to the US and I stopped playing online due to insane regulation. Last week I was home all weekend and decided to see what there was to work with. Not wanting to jump right into bitcoin and all that nonsense, I decided to try to grind a roll out of freerolls, old school style. After looking around, I downloaded America's Cardroom and started playing freerolls.

They have on demand $10 freerolls that start when 270 register, and they typically get about 700 runners. First place takes home 2.50, top ten get paid.

I bubbled my very first freeroll, grinded down by blinds, 5 hours down the drain, but I cashed in 8th or 9th place on my 3rd try.

I took my 13 cents and played their cheapest game, a $100 guarantee on demand for 0.11. Busted, done for the day, **** poker, etc.

Two days later I play again and things go well. I put in about 6 hours play time into freerolls before I cash in two, sitting on 0.83. run it up to $2 short stacking PLO and then busto after top set doesnt hold.

So Now I've blown it twice and i'm pissed. Keep in mind this is only over two sessions and these freerolls are soft as can be, but I'm not getting off the ground. I Play again last friday and take down first in an on demand freeroll. 1 out of 863 is good for $2.50. I buy into another 0.11 tourney late and bust, fire a second bullet which is good for 49th place, bankroll at $2.61.

I'm gonna try to play more freerolls this week to get the leaderboard perks and because less than $3 probably won't cut it for cash games. I'm considering exclusively playing the $0.11 tourneys untill I break double digits.

After shorstacking PLO hi/lo the BR sits at $3.68. No interesting hands, mostly just pounced on dead money. Anyone who has recommendations for free tracking/db software lemme know, I wanna put some charts up down the road

Bankroll just over $130. SNG was the way to go, HU hypers were juicy and 6max turbos i just folded my way into 2nd over and over, picking off blinds to stay afloat. Apparently me posting here is pointless, so I'll just snap a picture when I break $10,000. Probably around 3 months I would guess, unless I can scoop a nice MTT. Maybe one of those guarantees that doesn't hit it's minimum... (also known as free money) Peace out 2p2

ACR seems nice for microrollers and hobbyplayers. A 11c on demand w 100$ GTD is something that stars would never think would be a "worthwhile investition"

Now that I have money in the site I'm going to make a bonus play. $100 out and $100 back in via bitcoin so I have a potential $150 in bonus cash I can clear. I don't think this is cheating on a bankroll challenge, and I considered waiting to do it with 200 or 500 to maximise bonus cash, but realistically i wont be able to generate enough rake to clear more than $100 worth of bonus, so i will make the play today. Apparently to do this I go ACR>blockchain>wallet, then wallet, to blockchain, to ACR for the deposit.

Again I don't think this is cheating because we are not risking any money, we are taking 100 we got from freerolls and grinding, and moving it around to initiate bonus whore mode. Anyone on this forum should recognize the potential in bonus whoring

forgot about this thread but im just over 7000 probably just gonna move it all to ignition after the oss main tho.
