Gonna take 1-2 days off to do a massive review and back at war

1) Grind 700 games with abi higher than 300$

Didnt. Quite happy with the effort though

2) Renew my membership to the gym and read Kinobody ''Aggressive Fat Loss''

Failed miserably on this one. I could blame my run in poker but I will not

3) Finish Outliers and one more book this week

I couldnt finish one more book because I picked Painless Poker which has near 500 pgs. I did read 57%

I enjoyed Outliers. The book is about studying different cases of success and try to explain the factors which led there. Interesting reading

https://www.amazon.com/Outliers-Stor.../dp/0316017930

On a sick downswing atm, kinda hate and love everything at the same time

YTD:

I am thinking to start playing some 30-60$s spins on the side when my games are not running to maximize my hourly. Also the only format that offers ev deals which will be the best for my rigged account

Books ytd:

Will post weekly goals after my 2 day review. Gl all (not the ones playing 6m enough luck you had already )

Ciao

Ps I stongly recommend watching Brookly Nine Nine
After so many recommendations have also seen you give it 10/10 now, so got to make some time 4 this book and give myself the chance to grow rich

Thank u sir and gl this week!

Weekly goals:

1) 32 hours playing time between Thursday and Sunday

8 hours per day seems a solid number. I went out for some quick drinks yesterday and i dont feel the need to go out again. Hopefully volume will be good

2) Renew my gym membership

I must do this. Kinda ''hate'' my life when i am not working out. This is a must

3) Read painless poker

I started slow because it was boring in the beginning but i like what i am reading now. Many pages in this book, hopefully i will manage to finish it this week

Took the desired time off to study some stuff i had marked. Quite pleased with everything

This was a good week for sure. I am loading many hours to get the desired volume as traffic is totally random so far. I am thinking more and more about the future and where I should switch. Most likely Mtts and I will start studying them this week or the week after. I will switch in the new year and I need a smooth transition

I managed to achieve 2/3 of my goals

1) Playing time was 30 hours and I was loading at least 2 hours more every day
2) I did renew my gym membership
3) Study mtts for at least 30 minutes every day

Weekly goals:

1) Load at least 48 hours
2) Workout three times
3) Finish Painless Poker (FINALLY)

Swingy swingy month

Overall a decent month even though it was quite stressful. From negative 50k to positive 12k. Very happy with the volume and the hours I put in if I take into consideration I had to travel again. Hopefully it will be the last time I move for a long time. I feel the need to settle down in one place and grind hard until the games completely die. The goal is to be the last man standing and then switch to another format or (finally) do the challenge which isnt possible atm because I am loading many hours

Abi 491$. Unfortunately some times there is no traffic at all and I have to load even 100$s, something I try to avoid because it feels very low

I am pleased that I registered in the gym again. I hit the gym three-four times but I feel like sht. I workout once and the next three days I can barely move. The plan is to reread AFL from kinobody and follow everything there, starting TODAY. Two months of AFL and then WSP until summer

A hand vs my favourite reg, I will not post any names

I am reading regularly even though the pace dropped the last month. I finished Painless Poker. I didnt enjoy the book because it had many pages but on the other hand, the author convinced me to meditate again which is something I will do today

I keep watching football. I watch all the games of Real Madrid and Manchester United and most of the EPL matches. Premier League is by far the best league and I love the intensity there

Real Madrid has a dissapointing season so far. The team is creating many chances but they have issues with finishing. Selling Morata without replacing him was a huge mistake for several reasons. He seems to have a very good season at Chelsea. I didnt expect that to be honest. Overall I am happy with the quality of football Real Madrid is producing but definitely not by the results

Manchester seems more like a Mourinho team over the time but I still dont like how they play. Mourinho's teams are fast in counter, producing many combos with hard defense on the back. I was in love with every single Mourinho's team because they were playing outrageous fast paced football in the counter which is something I admire

This Utd team is very slow. Mikhitaryan is a very slow AMC comparing to what Mourinho needs. Most Mourinho AMCs were either very fast or they were playing one touch football that Mikhi seem unable to do so. Herrera is another big issue. Even though he is amazing in his defensive duties, he doesnt offer anything in the attacking area. Even more frustrating is when he is slowing the team because he needs 2-3 touches and then passing back to the stoppers

Pogba is a huge absence for UTD. Only -5 from first place against a Guardiola's team which had easy schedule. Guardiola's teams have severe issues during December-January-February period. Plenty of time but the defeat from Huddersfield and how it came was unacceptable

      Goals of the month:

      1) 2000 games at similar abi
      2) 20 workouts at gym
      3) 3 books

      Until the next time

Strong start this month. I am doing a friendly hour propbet against Jdawg which i feel i am heavy underdog. Jdawg is a beast grinding and i have to sit many hours without playing anything which is boring. Games are randomly going off after i stop which is sad. I would love to add 5-10 more 1000$ to my daily routine and i try to push my grinding later at night

I will not post graph now but a mid month one

Football weekend was very average. Real Madrid won easily Las Palmas 3-0 with Asensio scoring an astonishing goal

Manchester Utd was average on more time. Pogba is a huge miss and Mikhitaryan is doing more harm than good in this team. Utd players were very slow in counter one more time, it feels like the team is not a team yet

      Weekly goals:

      - 5x gym workouts

I tried Sentin's program two years ago and it didnt help at all. I was feeling more frustrated. I have never meditated since then but painless poker gave me some motivation to try again

I will sit still focussing on my breath ''x'' amount of time each day. Nothing complicated

Ps Blinkist's book is interesting today

If you didn't like meditation you can try self-hypnosis. Essentially imo it's the same thing but with a bit different techniques. Just google "meditation vs self hypnosis", read a couple of articles and see your self. I tried meditating and didn't like it either but hypnosis is ok. I'm not too good at it but am able to get rid of tilt in a 10-15 min session or get well rested in 30-45 mins. And it's just a tip of what you can do or improve if you master it.

End of the year. End of an era

I should happy with my yearly winnings but I am not. This is the 5th year in row that I am running bellow ev in any hyper format. Volume was neither bad nor good. I spent a month moving to Malta, a month in Vegas and another two months trying to get back in a grinding mode because it was very hard to put the hours online after Vegas. Even worse when I managed to put some hours, my brother broke his arm playing football and I had to stay with him for a while

Fully grinding 7 months this year isnt a good sum. I should be happy with the results having 27% rakeback in the beginning and around 10% later but I am not. The most frustrating thing is that all these ''bosses'' disappeared and the games barely running anymore. Some people were on big heaters, then reality kicked in. There is a rumour that a group of greek guys were colluding and apparently pokerstars froze their accounts. Moreover many new accounts are appearing from Russia, Germany and Finland, even when they get banned, we get 0$ refund. Well played Amaya. Last but not least getting robbed for 35k left a bitter taste in my mouth for the year

      YTD

      hm2:

      ss with 19% rkb:

      LTD 6m

low-mid stakes around 15k under ev 50% rkb (average expected rkb, some years with elite, all nova+)

mid-high stakes running 150k under ev 50% rkb for such a long period is not fun

I did made many mistakes the last years. I think if I had accept an offer from a hu stable 3 years ago I would be in a much better place. Having hu winrates in a 6 max reggy format is always nice especially when approaching the games in a super exploitative way, having the biggest t20 winrate in high stakes (not sure though). Most likely the biggest hu winrate in 6 max. I dont know what winrate is sustainable with 12bb minus but pretty happy with mine

      Grind area:

Or I should have switched to 6m way earlier. I switched very late when the games were extremely tough. I heard stories about people 30 tabling 60-200s or even 50 tabling and printing money

If I have to give some advise to people

      1) Never trust samples bellow 20k games when you are about to get coached by someone and always see their sharkscope for each limit seperately. There are people who are playing 500 games in 1ks and they get a massive boost in their green/red line while they barely beating any other game. If they run bad then they filter out these games. In sharkscope they have advanced feature for every limit. Also observe the graph. If it is breakeven or worse and suddenly a big spike in the end, the person is on heater in their highest stake most likely. I saw 2 regs who are coaches losing/barely winning on every stake between 30$-300$ and crushing 500-1000$-5000$ over the ''big'' sample of 3000 games There is another reg who offers coaching and he is mixing his graph from hypers and turbos. He is winning 200k+ in 200g in 5k turbos but losing on every other limit

      2) Networking is really important. Try to find people that they can help you. Not necessary study with you but inclined to give you ideas on how to study. Try new things and observe your database. Analyze your database regularly is the most important aspect to improve

      3) I worked with some rotten people. Bad backers who are trying to convince you that you have to play in order to pay back the mu even though is not written in the contract. Bad coaches who demand to get paid while didnt deliver coaching for the period and they were multitabling while stating they were sick and not able to coach, but they wanted to get paid

      4) Keep screenshots of everything it seems fishy. I still have skype logs and screenshots saved from 3 years ago

      5) You cant control variance but you can control the position you will place. It will be totally different graph for a reg who is winning at 2% and running 100k bellow ev than a reg who is 0% and running 100k bellow ev. USE SWONGSIM. YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WITH YOUR WINRATE. even at 2% ev you can have these results in 20k games

I have to apologise to many regs. I do love to thrash talk people

but I think I crossed the line many times. I was playing in 9 man hypers where I ran 450 abi bellow ev. Then switching to 6m hyper where I ran 162 755$ bellow ev in my high stakes. It is quite frustrating and I think most people dont understand how I feel or how it feels to be bellow ev every single year the last 5 years. If I didnt have such an exciting lifestyle I would have depression or something serious

I do apologise and I hope I will behave better in my next chapter.........no matter how I will run. Unfortunately my main volume will remain in pokerstars but I plan to mix party poker in the near future

Other than that most people I worked with taught me several important lessons and I am quite happy I met them. I didnt approach every situation as I should and I deeply regret as I lost touch

Getting 5-8 games per hour isnt appealing at all while loading everything above 200$. I do think there are plenty of money to be made for anyone who will put the effort on 30-100$ but this is something i am not interested in. My decision is grinding MTTs. I travelled in different countries at least three times each year which made my volume suboptimal. I will settle in one place for 2018 and fully focus in MTTs. I dont know if I will create a new thread or not. I do enjoy posting gifs. Every time I open a thread or write a post, it is for my own entertainment. If people like what I post then its a win win. I do not look to take up students as I am extremely busy person

The goals will remain the same. Become the top dog. I wish I could write ''it was a fun ride'' but I have so much sadness when I see everyone picking up heaters right and left in their highest stakes and then dissapear. I did enjoy the last three years playing 6m though

      Long run doesnt exist
