What up guys

So after finally completing my 2016 challenge a few weeks ago, the grind still continues!

Who is this guy?

KrustyTheClown is closing in on 30 years and living in the north of Belgium.
Have been playing online poker since 2008 or 2009.
Since June 2014 99% of my play has been at Unibet.
Last year in August I also played my first ever live MTT as I qualified for the Unibet Open in Copenhagen.
I ended up busting on day 1 an hour or so after the dinner break
But it was still a cool experience and also a very nice city trip
Besides poker I'm also a big motorsports fan.
Have been following Formula 1 since 1996!

On twitch my nickname is 00Robot00.
I love following poker streams from time to time.
I reguarly watch streams from Unibet ambassadors Uhlen & DaVitsche.
I think it's a good way to do some studying.
Without having any pressure on you, just thinking about hands can really improve your game imo.

Poker goals? Improve, grind, win the monies!

For now I don't want to set any specific poker goals, I'll just do the best I can
So far this year I have been doing pretty good tho, especially in putting in plenty of hours.
However, at the moment my main focus is doing good in the full time programming course I'm enrolled in
I just completed the 4 week pre-course succesfully and the actual .NET C# sharp course starts probably on March 13.
From then on I'll have to go to Antwerp everyday from 8.30 till 16.00h.
Getting there and back also takes quite some time obv, so I'll have a lot less time.

Still I'm gonna try and put in some legit grinding!
My government allowance is only enough for me to pay the regular bills and food.
So it's very welcome for me to have an extra source of income.
Especially if I want to do some fun stuff.
For example I'll probably go on another hiking trip to Sweden this summer.
At the moment my yearly profit is a bit over €1.2K.

Last Month

In February I have played 60K hands which is very decent imo!
I ran kinda bad in NL and tested out the PLO pool somewhere in the last week of the month.
Feel like the 10 PLO game is super soft, some fishes have no clue at all.
And most regs play pretty straight forward.
The pool is very small tho, sometimes there's not enough players to play 6 tables...
But at the moment it's just so much more interesting than the NL games.
I think the game plays bigger, but preflop people are pretty passive.
I don't have the exact numbers yet, but I'm up around 35 BI in the last 10 days or so.
It's pretty likely I'll switch back to NL in a couple weeks or months time.
That's okay tho. I'm a proven winner in both games.
The main thing is to just keep motivated and log some hours

March

At the moment I have €636 cash in my Unibet account.
I also have €25 in UO tickets and a couple other small tickets.
Right now I have 78K challenge points for the quarter.
Goal for this month is to reach at least 100K challenge points.
People who reach this amount qualify for a Unibet Open package freeroll.
Offcourse I'd like to try and qualify for an Unibet Open again, but playing cash games has a bigger priority...
Currently 6 tabling 10PLO, will play some 25PLO if I have 30+BI for it.
Yes I'm a bankrollnit

Let me know what you guys expect from this thread or would like to see!
Tired of typing now, time to chill

-dang need to start programming to, can only do an if-else
-try plo learning
-satellte into higher plo tournaments
-plo8/nlo8 might be interesting
-i would suggest plo sng/mtt over cash since you can get more hands in and use your edge

I shall be following of course. As usual, you're playing about five times as much volume as me, and winning about ten times as much money. Keep it up!

Thanks guys!

Running so ****ing bad in all formats this weekend...Very tilting bad beats.

Just lost huge pot near bubble in the 2K gtd MTT with KK vs 33 pfai.
In omaha I just can't win a flip.
Also lost 400bb pot where villain basicly bluffraised flop and turn and hit his 4 outer...
In NL I had this hand where I open JJ utg, sb flats and bb squeezes.
I flat and sb calls too.
Flop J42 and checks around. Turn T sb leads and I just rip it.
He snapcalls with 56o and hits ofc...

I've been grinding so hard this weekend and I just constantly get doomed by the RNG. Very frustrating. Still up €130 for March.
Hope I can catch a break soon
Cashed out €102 because I need to buy new smartphone...

The only good thing is that I'm at 88.6k challenge points now.
One of those **** you poker days I guess.

There's a bunch of decent youtube tutorials to get you started with programming.

I'm not, actually. I only found out it existed a couple of days ago. I should investigate to see if there's much value in grinding it. I think Mathrim plays it and he's usually good at finding where all the dead money is, so I'll look at the schedule when I get the chance.

It's basically x8 €400 GTD €4 MTTs in various formats where there are points awarded for finishes to Community members. There is an additional €1k for the top ten after the month and 1st gets to play an Ambassador for €1k HU.

It's only your top 3 results that count so missing the first one isn't the end of the world and the points scale is a lot shallower than the MTT promos normally run so it should reward consistency over a lucky bink.

Like Sleazy said the added cash prizes def make it worthwhile.
If you run good you easily top 3 twice or something.
Most players from the community are pretty crappy I imagine...

Ran kinda salty today
But still made a small profit. Up €202 for March at the moment.

Gonna check out the latest episode of The Walking Dead to untilt

Cheers guys!

I haven't done anything commercial for a company or anything because once I finished my game dev degree I just kept on playing poker .

I have been working on indie projects on the side though. I was working a fzero/wipeout style racing game project called Geometry Shift(can find screenshots on google) with a friend. That game was greenlit on Steam but we needed crowd funding to continue the project full time. Unfortunately the campaign failed so we just moved on to mobile game projects for now.

We almost have our first one ready to release, there is just some business stuff to sort out so we can release on google play .

Thanks for the info about the Community League. Looks like good value and the time slots should work well for me. I'll set a reminder to play tomorrow.

That moment when you get rostucko at 5am in the morning after playing non stop for 7 hours and coming back from an 8.5BI hole

#FeelsGoodMan

I started of playing 10PLO and absolutly got crushed by the board.
Can't remember much of the hands, but it was ugly.
I do remember 4bet potting pre with AAxx and getting stacked for about 150bb by Q9xx trash on Qx9.
Then I felt like playing NL again. Maybe I can run good there

Hell no. Lose 280bb pot AA vs KK pre all in.
KK vs AK pre all in.
KK vs 88 in 3bet pot on low flop and 8 turn
middleset 99 vs topset TT
AdK vs AA in 3bet pot low flop all diamonds, villain c/r, no hit obv
etc...

But tonight I was stubborn and guided by Mary J I kept on grinding relentlessly.
I think I played really well this session
Obviously there where also a couple Friday night fishes around

I built some huge stacks climbing back from being down just under 9 buy ins

One fun hand vs a fishy regular

I think I 3betted pre.
I usually cbet this spot, but I realized that can't be very much +EV cbetting AQ just for protection.
So I decide to check flop and he bets 3/4 pot. I pretty much snap.
Turn he makes a similiar 3/4 pot bet. I wonder what villain is repping and call after a while.
Basicly I could only give him credit for 88 or 55.
River he thinks a bit longer and then pots it. I snapcalled

So ended up winning 5 BI in NL after losing 5BI in PLO.
I'm up €212 for the month, but it would have been so much more if I got my EV.
Anyway, nothing we can do about. Just gonna keep focusing on playing my A-game

I'm at 98.2K challenge points and maybe I might reach 125K before the end of the month.
It's not much but then I'd get a €20 bonus...

Good weekend fellow degens

73rd of 85, so only just outside the money. I got a free ticket, so the stupid call that busted me wasn't too upsetting. #FreerollingPenguin. I think Mathrim managed to negotiate the minefield to finish 3rd.

Nice recovery in your epic cash session.

Hey folks

Have been really busy with my C# programming course. Doing good so far
I also moved to a bigger place 2 weeks ago.
Had to arrange a lot of stuff, fix paperwork and a bunch of errands...

So had a lot less time to play pokers.
In general I ran really bad in March.
My big pairs just crushed me.
The list of losing with AA vs KK, AA vs JJ, KK vs AA,... is pretty damn long...

Got fed up with this **** and cashed out too much.
At the moment my bankroll is back at €197, so it's not that much of an issue.
Profit for March: €246.

This Sunday I'm playing the Unibet Open Challenges freeroll.
Obviously not counting on it, but I'd be thrilled to win a package and go to Copenhagen again

Not much of an adventure but I'm currently heads up in the €250 GTD Four For Midnight

Stacks are even now and villain is def a donk!
I'll do a proper update later on

Lost the headsup with a terrible bad beat
Won €50 which is a pretty decent score for my current bankroll.

Villain donkleads 3 times pot and calls my shove with 5hi. #classicUnibet
Obviously his backdoor fd gets there...

Been grinding the 4NL games for a bunch of hours and have been crushing hard. Up 12 buy ins or so.
I took a beating at 10NL couple days back, but I'll be back there soon
YTD profit is at €1497.

I'm also looking to qualify for the €550 Belgian Poker Championship.
Currently have only €25 in sat tickets but still have lots of time to get there

Good night folks
