Hey guys. No stream today. Misread the Bodog tourney schedule and really wasn't feeling how late it was. Decided to just relax have some wine with the wifey and watch movies.

PS- Saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night and it was amazing. 10/10.

With that said we missed day 7 for our 7/7 challenge. Not delivering on day 7 irks me and I'll definitely be doing a giveaway at the end of the month bc of it. I'll outline on the next stream.

For now I'll just give a bit of an update with just under a week left in the month.

Managed to catch some heat this week and get back up to where we should be for these limits. Pretty excited to finish off the month strong.

Plan is to be back for a stream Tuesday. See you guys then and GL with your sessions

Hey Jordan, thanks for posting the month to month results! Was wondering if you could talk a bit about the red line and your thoughts/philosophy about it. I've heard a lot of good players not bother with it at all.

JAEEEEEEE! Whats up brotha! Good question. I think that, over the years, there's become this obsession with redline v blueline. The only line that matters is the green one.

More specifically, I think there are several winning strategies which result in varying redlines. Generally speaking, if you're playing in good games you wouldn't expect to have a crushing red line bc friendly players don't fold as much/we shouldn't bluff them as much in many spots.

I'd guess a GTO solver strat put in to regular 6m games would probably have a crushing redline though.

Just wrapped up another one guys. Short but sweet.

Nothing tomorrow. Got the Super Bowl to watch. Go Pats go! WE'RE STILL HERE BABY!!! Let's get Tommy no.6!

See you guys Monday

I'm going to put an emotional hedge bet down on the Pats since I want them to go down so I guess I'll be semi-rooting for them with you.. How does a Canadian end up a fan of the Patriots?! Boooooooo

For how long of your career would you say you've been telling yourself to ramp up the volume, only to put in 55 minute sessions?

lol good question. Followed them and been a huge Brady guy ever since his first SB. Been a wild ride, sad that it's coming to an end. Although he says no, I think there's a decent chance he retires if they win this one. And Gronk's done almost for sure.

I don't know. Probably for about as long as you've been breaking even at the micros.

Just in case it wasn't clear from the beginning, btw, the sessions I post are specifically my streams, and are not, in fact, the only sessions I play. Streaming takes more focus/mental acuity than regular sessions, and as such going beyond 1.5-2hrs is usually not a good idea. Sundays are the exception.

A brief skim of your recent posts show two things:

1) a bunch of negativity towards several people doing PCG threads.
2) a bunch of strat posts in the micros.

I'm sure you're actually Elon Musk though, and you're just doing it all for the lulz.

At least we confirmed one more thing: You're a fan of the stream! Thanks for tuning in, but if you don't like it, you don't have to watch! Smash that unfollow button and go back to flipping burgers.

Just had a look, can't find any other posts I was negative towards someone doing a PG&C thread.

Yep, it's called a hobby.

Definitely not fan, could only handle your head being on screen for 3 minutes before switching off.

Sounds good, don't tune in then and stop following along. Never understood why some people feel the need to bring negativity into other people's lives. It's truly pathetic.

So much this. It is a disturbing trait.

Also have zero idea how you come across as an arrogant guy on stream. But to each their own...

True that, my original question was actually genuine. Then you decided to make some weird random false assumption about me. Anyway, gl with your self promotion.

Pretty wild stream. Some interesting (questionable) pots to say the least hahaha :P

2 most interesting hands:

feel like i absolutely butchered turn/sizing here tbh. Better to be lucky than good I guess

V a reg. I think if we plan to call brick rivers we should be shoving this combo (all As combos) ott here for sure as its way higher ev. That said, is this a better combo to call w/ than QQ(no club)? Prob pretty close.

anyways guys, no stream tomorrow. Had a blast today, thanks for all the chatter and love <3 We'll be back in the twitch streets Thursday

lol nice find. x post, but:

lol nh.

reg pool from what ive seen here 4bets something like KK+ AK AQ/AJ/KQ and a bunch of Axs at this depth.

when we get to the river theres really only a couple combos that beat me given blockers and the fact that AA/KK will get checked on flop/turn/river some %.

I think this is actually a much better river call than QQ(no spade) and prob better than all QQ.

I will say, though, that if plan is to call turn call brick rivers, we should just be shoving turn as it will be much higher ev. I was pissed in game after calling/discussing it that I didn't shove turn.

Pretty whacky spot

OK, I'm buying into this.

I came up in the forums around the same time as you (on different screen names ) so knew of you from early, glad to see you're doing well now.

I wish I was!

I have a q: what is it about -your brain -your mindset that enables you to be a winning poker player? (I'd like you to not interpret the q towards the direction of 'working hard' or 'studying effectively' please.) Or even childhood experiences/previous game-playing transferable skills for example.

Hey man! What SNs (if you don't mind me asking)? Might I remember you?

Appreciate that. Honestly, I think one of the things you mentioned in your last paragraph was huge for me in the earlier stages. I played yugioh a bunch and used to travel to large events etc., and I really think to have that exposure to a game at a relatively high level made this transition a lot easier for me when I was just getting into it. Beyond that, I think since I was a kid I was always fairly decent with numbers relative to my peers and that's probably helped out as well.

Thanks for the question & GL!
