OP will probably chime in to say that she thought you were sweet, etc...she might actually feel that way, but when it comes down to it, you're the last guy she'd want to take care of her.
Think of it this way; evolutionarily, she's designed to seek the mate most likely to protect her and take care of her, and social changes are nothing compared to that kind of evolutionary drive (meaning that just because we're a super weak/emo/hipster generation obsessed with PCness doesn't mean our fundamental drives have changed).
Stop being a weakling and show some confidence. Most importantly, don't confuse niceness and weakness. You can be a good person without being a doormat.
I've seen countless women go for doormats, either because they're typically (it's true) nicer people, or because they're easier to control...but ultimately they always got frustrated and went looking for an alpha male type of guy who could **** their brains out for hours, then go workout, then go make money, come home and **** them some more; because believe it or not, this is the best way to show a woman how much you love her and make her feel like an amazing woman, not buying her stupid **** and giving her your sack on a leash, for which you'll get no respect and nothing of the amazing qualities women have and will occasionally give to a man they deem worthy of receiving those gifts.

EDIT: In this case, it's even more pathetic because it's clear from the photo album in her OP ("this is what I look like!"...really?) that she's looking for attention and here you are racing to cut your nuts off in front of her for a tiny bit of her attention.
