Hey 2+2

I'm playing poker for 5-6 Years now. Started out with fullring Cashgames, but quickly switched to a mixture of 6max cashgame and MTTs. I prob. was winning in cashgames up to nl100 and ran pretty good above

But for 3-4 years im solely grinding MTTs now. This year however I haven't studied and played as much as i wanted to. Therefore I thought i would just start a blog to keep myself motivated and share hopefully interesting stuff with a community that has given me alot so far.

Right now I sit on roughly 650-700k lifetime profit on all sites from MTTs and i want to make it to that glorious million dollar profit benchmark

BitB stakes me for MTTs for 2.5 years now and i really enjoy the community, the coachings and the constant development of our game, as we try to stay on top of it as a team. That being said one of my goals is to go back to playing on my own within the next year, but i'm very nitty with BR-Management these days.

I am enjoying the best life of my career now, but I actually think my edge was bigger in previous years, just alot of personal stuff that went down this year, which kept me from studying and playing as much as I would have liked to. But no more excuses, i feel good about every aspect of my life going forward

For every week(Monday-Sunday)that I don't update this blog until the end of the year (1-10 word posts don't count), i will donate 100$ to the CDU, which is a conservative political party in germany, that I really don't want to give any money to.

Alright, lets go, i will post more about myself, my goals, etc as we go along

Sure, roughly 60% of my profit came after joining BitB. But also my ABI is higher than in the time be4 joining obviously.

I haven't studied 3betshoveranges in quite some time. This is a terrible 3betshove and its obv. very easy to work out, since k9s is the bottom of Elmerixx openingrange here, 3betshoving for 8bb is just terrible. But when you don't regularly study this stuff, you can become quite unsure in an actual ingame spot. So this is just a reminder to constantly study the basics

I used to have a PT4 tag for this stuff, to go over after session. But when my DB crashed i got rid of it. So now its back and I will take 10-20 mins. as a cooldown after eevry session to look at these spots.

Decided to play today and pretty much had a perfect session. Built stacks everywhere, couldn't even reg b55 and Saturday Scuffle, because I would have had too many tables. Had superdreamy table in the 530 Bountybuilder, but didnt manage to build much of a stack there. Ended up coming 12th in b109, 18th in Uppercut Warmup and 18th Big Brawl. Pure bubbled Xtase and a 55 Turbo on Party. Felt like everybody was just punting left, right and centre tonight Party had some insane overlays tonight, I hope they don't go broke

October is over and I am quite happy with how the month went. My evBB/100 is back to above 10, the last 6 months it has constantly been below 5. I think there are multiple reasons for that, but mainly I just wasn’t as passionate about studying poker and grinding as I would like to be. I remember my roommate asking me multiple times if I want to study this or that and I would just be like “No, maybe later”. Earlier in my career I would have jumped at the opportunity to study with a successful midstakes cashgrinder. I got by fine, bc. I spent a lot of my career studying and in BitB there is always something going on that you can watch and learn as you go. But the tough work I definitely avoided. My mum passed away earlier this year after being sick for 2 years and after that I was just busy with myself a lot. But I also think its somewhat natural to fall into a hole in any career after x amount of years and then you just have to soulsearch on why you were so passionate about -in my case- poker to begin with. And I think I’m on a good way to find my passion again, I spent the past 2 days in the lab and there is so much to learn still and I have a pretty clear path going forward. Until EPT Prague I will focus on studying ICM, I think there is a lot of edge still to be gained, bc. it’s just very boring and unsexy topic to study, therefore population just doesn’t do it in depth.

This month I have 2 1-1s, one with Goose.core and one with Graftekkel. Today I will spend 1-2 hours preparing for the 1-1 with goose.core and I still haven’t decided on topic. If you had the opportunity to have a 1-1 with Goose.core! which topic would you guys choose?

I have some goals still for this year, we started a challenge within the stable to start every day with a cold shower and today I already failed. But I am determined to succeed, I think this can very important to me, bc. my morning routine is nothing short of a disaster atm. Usually its wake up, check social media, drink, shower, grind cashgames for 2 hours and after that I have almost no energy for the rest of the day. Even though I know better, I even know the tools from multiple mindset coachings, etc…

So here are my goals for November:

Start of the day routine:
• Drink 500 ml water (this will be easy one, bc. im already doing this)
• Have a huel shake (this will be hard, I need some discipline for that)
• Run around the block for just 5-10 mins (same as above)
• Cold shower (this will be very hard)
• Meditate (this will be hard as well, but very beneficial)
• Go to gym/play soccer twice a week ( I will post the planned times until Saturday evening each week)

How will I accomplish that? Every day/time which I don’t do it I will send 100$ to one 2+2er who posts in here within the next 24 hours, the draw will be randomized, if you win a prize u can’t win a second one. I am not going to “prove” that I did it, unless somebody comes up with a fairly easy solution for this. I will be in Istanbul from 16th-19th, so those will be my “cheatdays”.

This week I will go to the gym monday and wednesday.

Also I ordered a passion planer for 2018 looking forward to using it😊
