Best of luck man.
Word - converting Bovada hands is definitely an annoyance, but nothing annoys me more than the fact that you have to wait 24 hours to actually download them. I get that they don't want you to have immediate access to the hand histories, but why can't the delay be like 30 minutes or an hour? I would like to be able to post daily updates but that's practically impossible with the delay.

Thanks!

Update: I'm feeling good today and I decided I'm going to officially move up to the $50 DON's. Will keep you guys updated on how things go. I'm psyched!

What's the skill gap like? Any suggestions for adapting?

Thanks man, will do!

Definitely agreed. So long as the games are monitored and collusion isn't a factor (which so far in my experience it's not on Bovada) DON's are where it's at.

Thanks! I'll be updating the graphs biweekly - going for that sky high climb.
At times the games are quite reg heavy, but they're still soundly beatable. Biggest 2 adjustments I've noticed: 1) People actually seem to call steals lighter than at lower levels 2) People attempt more advanced plays such as limp trapping with big hands.

I take very careful notes on suspicious activity, and I have yet to see any. I've went as far as reviewing hand histories (which allow you to see all hole cards) and so far I've seen nothing. So here's to hoping that continues.

GL!

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely pay a bit more attention and play "cash game solid."

I've just launched up my first ever $50 DON. First thing I noticed is that there is considerably less traffic in these games than the $20 DON's. That may just be because of the time of day (1:09 PM PST) but I'll keep an eye on it.

Made slight work out of my first four $50 DON's. I love this game.

Good luck and I wish you well in this quest! I'm glad to see you have a better future plan as well. Bovada isn't going to stay in the US forever, so SNGs may very well be ancient history in 2 or 3 years in America.

Nice start!

There's definitely less volume at times but once you get rolling to 4 games, you're good.

My best run is 11 Wins in a row at the $50s, worst is 7 losses in a row. Bigger swings due to lower win rate possibilities

I just imported an additional 35 tournaments or so. There is effectively a two day delay on importing with Bovada, so this graph only includes an additional half day of play from the original graph I posted. In other words, these are my results after 7.5 days of playing.

nice graph, you are really crushing! maybe once you have a decent sample you could start coaching dons for like $20-40 an hour and market to like $5-20 players. just a thought

But coaching for $20-40 an hour... Is taking a pay cut..

Not worth it

That's a great idea. I think I'll consider this once I've reached the $130 DON's and, as you mentioned, I've clocked in a good sample. Maybe 5k or so.

I've thought about making a video series - that's another thought and I'm sure something I'll do in the future one way or another.

not necessarily, i said $20-$40 taking into consideration if he played $20-$50 dons. he could easily match his hourly rate from those games charging anywhere from $20-$40 an hour imo ,unless he plays $130s. then he could charge more per hour obv. Even if coaching nets you $5 less per hour or w.e. you could still win life EV by not having to grind at the table for that hour but rather taking it easy that hour and coaching.

At this point i think its safe to say advertisement wont change the games. If a reg doesnt know about bovada by now then he was never a good reg. If somebody is willing to pay for coaching its best to coach them and make that extra money rather than have that money go to someone else. Someone who is willing to pay for coaching will get coaching whether its from you or someone else.

But enough about coaching, its not allowed to advertise coaching in this section of 2+2, gotta pay for coaching advertising now

Creating this thread was so -ev, op. Money>respect on 2+2. 2+2 is not your friends. They are your direct competitors. I would"go on a horrible run and busto" and make this thread disappear.

C'mon peewee...Odd statement..

I personally talk with my friends daily, we are about 10 solid winning sng regs, each w years of exp. sharkscope leaderboard guys etc.
Imagine if 2mrw, all 10 reggd every game op is in... They would instantly become regs trading money.

Obv everyone knows about bovada, and everyone knows it's soft. But, now ur advertising a specific game , that most guys avoid usually, hence the reason they are so soft.

Shhhhh
