What’s going on everyone. So I decided I should start a journal of my daily activities playing poker to track my journey from micro stakes to high stakes. I don’t want to get to deep into why I’m playing and etc.

I just want to make some decent money playing poker so I can pay bills and invest the money I earn in to other money making activities. I have a goal for this year to make 10k playing poker. Hopefully my daily routine that I have created can get me to my goal.

Right now I am at 25nl. It has been a roller coaster ride that’s for sure. I’ll show you my graphs from starting at 1c 2c I was so bad lol still bad right now but def a whale. I just started playing poker seriously last year in February. It’s been on and off but it is what it is l. My goal is to stay super consistent this year and give it everything I got.

I will be posting my hands that I’ve played on here as well as graphs and stats to keep me accountable. If anyone wants to connect let me know! Well.... here we go! 🐳

What's going on guys! so before I start posting hands I wanted to post my graph at 100k hands at NL5 here is the link: https://imgur.com/a/zhNf4Q8 I was pretty excited beating that stake so now I am playing NL25 on Ignition. I am only one tableing at the time just because I want to get my bank roll up first before I play 2 table zoom.

My next post will be my session from the previous day because I can't get my hands to review until after 24 hours so looking for to my next post talk to you all later.

Monthly/Weekly Update

what up guys so I kind of been mia. I have been busy with life and just been procrastinating. lol I do that a lot I guess. So last month I changed up my game and have been following a more exploitative strategy. results are not great but can't really determine yet cause I don't have enough volume. here is the graph:

https://imgur.com/gallery/PI8V8Kh

terrbile lol but it is what it is. I get depressed sometimes cause I'm doing this by myself and can't really tell if i'm making mistakes, playing bad, or just a complete whale sometimes. poker sucks without friends lol. Goal for this month is to put in more volume and see how things pan out. I will try to post more and talk about hands that I am having trouble in so wish me luck!

P.S. I have no idea how to make pictures big on here...I will figure it out.

Whats up guys. so here is my last session:

went up a buy in. I dropped back to nl5 just to work on my strategy.

Not a bad session I guess.

So lets see my worst hand and good hand from this session:

Ignition - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 95.8 BB
BTN: 120.4 BB
Hero (SB): 191.6 BB
BB: 169.6 BB
UTG: 113.8 BB
MP: 109.4 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) CO has 7 8

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) BTN has 3 A

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q A

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) BB has Q Q

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) UTG has K 2

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) MP has 3 T

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB raises to 9 BB, Hero calls 6 BB

Flop: (18 BB, 2 players) T 9 5
Hero checks, BB bets 13 BB, Hero calls 13 BB

Turn: (44 BB, 2 players) Q
Hero checks, BB bets 31 BB, Hero calls 31 BB

River: (106 BB, 2 players) 4
Hero checks, BB bets 116.6 BB and is all-in, fold

BB wins 100.8 BB

I don't think the flop was a bad call. My thinking was that I have a bdfd and a bdsd. So I decided to call. when the Q comes on the turn I decided to call his bet again just because I have top pair and there are a lot of draws he could still be on.

when the 4d comes on the river I decided to fold because he shoved and I feel like I dont have dominance over his range just because he went B B B. so I think its a good fold.

he had QQ so yea lol.

here is my best hand that I played from this session:

Ignition - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BB: 55.4 BB
UTG: 264.4 BB

CO: 97 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A K

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) SB has J T

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) BB has 8 4

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) UTG has A Q

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) MP has Q K

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) CO has 6 2

UTG raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, fold, Hero raises to 13.4 BB, SB raises to 47.2 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 101.4 BB and is all-in, SB calls 43.2 BB and is all-in

Flop: (187.8 BB, 2 players) 5 3 J

Turn: (187.8 BB, 2 players) 9

River: (187.8 BB, 2 players) K

SB shows J T (One Pair, Jacks)
(Pre 42%, Flop 79%, Turn 81%)
Hero wins 178.6 BB

just got to get it in with AK

Sup guys just an update from my session the other day. I have to wait 24 hours before I can get my hands from the site I am playing on.

Here is the graphs:

Not a bad day. I felt confident in my strategy that I was doing. I felt so confident I jumped back to 25nl real quick to see how I was doing lol. I will post those results tommorrow. I will also post some hands tomorrow that I want to check out and see if I played them right. until next time...

lol so got my stats and man I had a rough session the other day I ran into some tough hands but too tired to talk about them. Just want to keep this up to date from my sessions for right now. anyway Im taking my shot at nl25 for 10 buy ins until I put some money in my account to not care lol. Right now its super stressful because I don't have a good enough bank roll to play at this stake, but I like the feeling of being uncomfortable so I can push myself. Nl5 sucks lol I beat it in my eyes and it doesnt give me that rush of beating it like I use to have.

UPDATE:

will talk about my hands from these sessions when I have a day off work this week. have a good one.

So moving back down to NL5 because I just lost 10 buy ins for the total lenght playing today.

The only way I move back up to nl25 is I have to win 30 buy ins at nl5 and add 30 buy ins to my account so I can comfortably play and not think about my bankroll. I don't see this as a failure, I see it as I took my shot, and I know where I need to improve. got me a little tilted but all good. I will post the last session tomorrow when I get the hands.

I shouldn't of bet because multi way dynamic, not enough equity, and I have showdown value as well so bad play by me.

thats all I got until next time...

Poker can be tough with the swings. I would focus more on how you feel at the stake vs a certain bankroll amount because you could be winning at a stake and still lose over 20k hands. How are you studying these days?

true thanks for the encouragement and tip. I study probably about 6 hours every other day and then the days I am not playing I try and put in as much volume as I can and implement what I am learning. getting PIO soon so that should help

I don't really know what I should of done here. I had top pair and nothing really scared me except it being multi way. I think I should of folded river cause it went donked B B and I have to call with significant domination.

until next time guys!

I'd get someone to coach you, and not spend money on nl 25 shots. You don't need a crusher, just someone who beats nl 25 and is good at explain core micro-stakes concepts.

From your last post:

H1: you should just jam river yourself, it's a really bad river, but probably still better than x/f or x/c

H2: raise the flop for value vs an unknown with 60 BB

From the post before that:

H1: raise the turn, he's likely weak, and by calling we allow him to get a cheap river
H2: raise the turn vs his super small continue, we likely have the best hand by now
H3: probably squeeze to 11 BB, as played, probably cbet flop, as played i agree with turn bet, if you're going to jam some rivers, as played, river fold is good

but i don't play cashgames, so maybe there's a mistake in this, puzzles are fun though

first part of my advice is still good, if you've got the money, and you want to get better, get a good coach (and if you want to make money, join a GOOD stable)

still trying to put in the volume. I am about 4k hands behind but trying to get that all done here tonight to get caught up.

this week has been stressful to be honest. I feel like I should be playing a lot better and crushing this weak stake. at the moment as you can see I am consolidating.

right now I am trying to get my xr up which is a leak of mine. Hopefully studying pio will get that stat up a little bit. my wwsf is still low but I think that will go up more when I start to plug these leaks I have.
