Welcome to my pg&c. I started playing holdem in January 2017, beat nl10 FR in the spring for 3bb over 70kish hands and have been playing mostly nl20-nl50 since August. I started playing more and more 6 max around October and now I am pretty comfortable there as well. I am a full time student so I hope to get around 40k+ hands/month, probably more when I start multi-siting/in the summer.

Here is some bb/100 since August:

Current goals:
Improve focus. Mainly figure out how to not think about previous hands during game. If I get curious about a hand I want to use it as an opportunity to learn and I could forget my thoughts afterwards. Then I end up making meh decisions and lose some potential bb's.

Deal with soft tilt better. I probably will just have to recognize it and do something else to refresh my mind.

Here are some weird hands:

H1: I don't like my 5bet, partly hand selection and partly players are too nitty for this kind of play, even the more aggro ones. BB is like 37vpip fish. V is somewhat aggro, battled him a bit HU, I suspect he is too loose pre.

Couple hands, wanted to quit poker after H1. BR down to 460$, some runbad and some incorrect play.

H1: I was thinking I block KQ pretty hard which is the main value hand I gave him, somehow I did not think about the flush at all. I don't think he will ever bluff like this, seems to be one of the better regs.

He is very stationy (55 FTRCB) but like I said I liked the price on my shove and I think even a donk could fold.

40 minute session today, 200 hands, played A++ game imo, largely attributable to the gym. Getting on some next level of thinking about poker. Nothing too notable except this hand, where I am not sure if I should call turn, thought it was ok in game being in position and probably bluffing a lot of rivers. V seemed somewhat aggro from small sample.

BR 700, withdrew 120 had a 300 upswing. I found a leak and im going to pay extra attention to it. Basically when I have hard time putting v on a clear range on an earlier street, esp preflop, later streets I get confused and make a poor decision either from lack of info or from a kind of spewy 'idk what to do' behaviour. I think i should make sure I have a good idea of how their range looks even when some hands are hard to
judge. In doing so I expect to see that their range isnt all that confusing and I will be confident on many runouts. I realise that in order to get to the next level I cannot allow myself to not have strong range analysis throughout the hand. I can imagine many spots where making sure you deal with ranges to the best of your ability rather than half assing it will make you money.

BR $166 + $50 redeemable points. Withdrew like $80 and the rest is downswing. Not much time to play because of school but now I am starting up again with the smaller workload due to strike. Playing ok, learning very fast where I can improve and how to think better. Running at around -20bb/100 over 9k hands at 20nl-50nl 6-9max and played 3k at 10nl fast fold for 6bb/100. Some hands:

H1: Pretty clear mistake here, iirc I was thinking he had AK and was a bit aggressive, I just didn't realise he did not have enough combos of bluffs given his range is like 50% sets ott. If he had maybe like 20 combos of potential bluffs I think a call would be ok.

BR at $350, I have played a ton of 10nl fast and some 20nl. 20nl did not go well for the most part, except one hand where I won like 170bb stacking off with QQ preflop vs fish and another player. My understanding of the game has improved a ton and right now I am looking forward to study a lot.

Results April:

H1: Not sure how much credit I get for this sizing, v was more stationy/aggro reg so I tried to make him fold overpairs ott. Flop I don't like, I think I should stick to hands with more equity/playability/blockers bluff raising on this texture.
