Still mixing Party and FTP. So far this year I've played 62k hands at FTP and 31k at Party. I expect to probably be splitting my volume at about 50% between them now that I've bought Party Caption. It really makes playing on Party so much easier. The graph below shows all my volume this year at Party, where I thought I was gonna go busto for the first time ever. I actually think some hands are missing as even taking bonuses into account I have more money in my account than my results show:

As for the split Between FR and 6max, I've only played 15k hands at FR this year (I thought it would've been less) and all of that was on FTP.

Graph below. As Party doesn't save the first hand at each table it missed a further buy in that I won. Bit of a strange one as I 3bet AKo in the BB v an UTG open and the villain called me down on a King high board with QQ

One thing I'm starting to notice on Party is that there is a fair number of aggro regs who seem to be losing players. The kind who 3bet a lot and barrel a ton etc. It's hard to tell for certain as I've only got samples of around 4 or 5k hands but there are a few who seem to play a similar style and all with poor results so far. Will get a better picture as I get a bigger sample on them.

Good stuff mate. Those regs are terrible

I too found party aggro same with 888. Heaps of 3b and sq pf and overly large bets in 3b pots like 76-85% at 100bb stack depth.

As I posted about earlier, seems to be so many players on Party who are just aggressive for the sake of it and are losing a fair bit. Both hands are against the same villain from a very short session

Also, I had this villain at my table last night. He was down over 8 buy ins in 75 hands. The remarkable thing is that he wasn't even playing full stacked for a lot of hands. He'd reload to weird amounts like 57bb.

Good stuff.

The a6 hand especially against a fella who doesn't enjoy folding probably plays better as an x/call on the flop. Especially with a bdfd. Would be a huge shame to have your cbet raised here (as it was)

Also a3o may be a tad on loose side for a CO open but if people aren't 3betting you can definitely get away with it and those gutter small Aces hands are definitely my first adds to Co open range at a soft table

Keep it up

Funnily enough I had a look at my low Axo opening range from the CO recently after looking at a few recommended ranges that didn't include those hands. It's been profitable for me so far:

Definitely something to keep an eye on though

looking at profits by hand is a really ineffective way to analyse your db because so many hands will be very close to 0ev and there will still be a lot of variance... you will literally never get a significant sample

Looking at that range of hands though shows it is profitable over a reasonable sample (Almost 2000 hands when I filter it). As ever in poker we'll never get our true winrate (or loss rate) here but we can only go with the info we have.

find the stdevbb/100 for that sample, and plug into pokerdope, assuming a true winrate of 0.3bb/100 or something

Why would you assume a true winrate of 0.3bb/100? This seems super low

because we're filtering for super-marginal hands... basically, your winrate will mostly come from premiums (top 6-10%), and most other hands are quite close to 0EV.

Overall yeah but not when you filter for specific situations. For example, if I look at this spot (opening in the CO) and I take out TT+/AQ then my winrate is 40bb. Now obviously sample size is an issue but if my winrate with these hands wasn't at that sort of level then I'd be in trouble as my overall CO winrate would nosedive.

I'm somewhat surprised. What's your CO winrate with A2-A8o?

Also, note that for marginal opens, the value of DB analysis is likely to be skewed, because if you mostly fold them but open with a fish at the table, you're going to see a positive value, but not one which implies you should open them as part of a default/reg-only table range.

If I filter for A2-A8o in the CO my winrate is 13.1bb.

If I run the same filter for where the pot is unopened and I am raising with these hands in the CO then the winrate is 25.1bb

Party doesn't save the first hand on every table so by checking my balance there and including bonuses I'm up $942.30 for the month. I'd have bitten your hand off for this at the beginning of the month but the dip at the end took the shine off it.
