I'm hoping to use this thread to chart my progress as I take a shot at moving up. I've been playing 25nl FR since FTP came back after Black Friday but have started to make the switch to 6max so that I can move up (50nl FR is dead on FTP).

I started my first ever pg&c thread last year to document what I hoped would be a recovery from this downswing I suffered at the end of 2014

By coincidence my results started improving on 3rd January 2015 when I started my pg&c thread and I ended up with the following results for the year (all 25nl)

My old thread is here and contains a short bio

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...egins-1500867/

So welcome to the thread guys and let's see how things go

Good start to the year so far

It's my intention to get back to posting more hand histories for discussion or whatever but I can't help posting another hand involving My Little German friend as it's the first chat I've had from him in 2016. For anyone new looking in he constantly abuses me at the tables and believes I'm a 'house player'. I've never said a word in chat in response to him and that winds him up even more.

Ty. I've played FTP since way back in the day when it was competing with Stars for the No1 site. I like the software but I may be moving some of my volume elsewhere.

Really frustrating hand.

Villain plays 21/11/3.2 at FR and this may be the first time I've seen him on a 6max table. He was a losing player but he's either got better recently or is on a heater as he's winning at 23bb over his last 13k hands. He's awkward to play against postflop due to being so random at times and lately he always seems to have it when I'm in a hand against him so the fact I didn't get his stack here was annoying

Not a bad reputation to have

Thought villain was unlikely to have a King and then I couldn't see what he'd be going for 2 streets of value with when Tx and possibly even some weak Kx are in my calling range. So it looked like air.

Start of year rungood continues. This is still 25nl

With regards to moving up to 50nl I've been looking at some options to improve my play as I still feel like a noob at 6max despite my results there so far (fish on a heater?)

So I may have an announcement in a couple of days.
