Why are you betting so small otf and what is your standard 3b sizing and what about standard squeeze sizing?

Not sure what you're referring to about the OTF. Bet sizing was good imo for the flop.

My standard 3bet sizing IP when deep is 3x + 1x per caller and OOP 3.5-4x + 1x per caller

Shallower would be something like 2.5-3x +1x/caller and 3.2-3.7x + 1x/caller

Meant 1/3 sizing on the flop. I've heard that elsewhere in a video series where lex does that. When your 100bb+ deep shouldn't you do what is standard in a cash game? More like 1/2 pot? Or do you generally have the same fold equity in tournaments with 1/2- 1/3?

Depends on board texture, villain's stack size, and what you're trying to accomplish. But generally 1/3 or 2/3 is better than half pot. But think about what you're trying to do rather than just mimic what somebody says in a video if you really want to get better.

Very true. I just meant generally against an unknown on dry board and u trying to get him to throw away his trash. Roughly 100bb eff.

Yes 1/3 is better than 1/2 pot always here with bluff and value.
If viain is fish and you know their range is likely stronger and/or they call alot forget this and size up with your value hands and never bluff. Default gto if unknown or competent opponent. But always play exploitative vs fish.

This week I plan to get back into sngs and next week back into MTTs as time allows. Been swapped this past week so been studying/ playing quick 30-45 min sessions of cash.

This hand came up last night.. Was thinking about jamming river against TAG. What you guys think? I think folding/jamming>calling in this spot.

Edit: I am opening a huge % of hands pre here even UTG to play against the fishy table. Let's not get too caught up on that pls.

First sunday in a long time I was able to grind. Felt nice. Was pretty tilted at the start of the session cause ACR crashed and they cancelled all their tournaments due to security risk of the system. Was playing a 20k gtd/ 60k gtd and doubled up in both of em. Had around 200bbs or so. Blows.

Got staked in the $99 50kgtd and it went well, took 18/329 for $619 so chopped it up. Only a min cash but **** it i'll take it.

Kinda sucks i gotta keep depositing cause i pay my staker his profit then im stuck with more money online but meh as long as that **** dont get frozen idgaf

Total deposits- $634.91
Withdrawals- $100
Bankroll- $1,708.20

Hands
- the site with majority of my volume doesnt allow huds so the hands dont get saved
- over the week ill look at a few and post them i took note of hand#'s so i can request a copy of those specific hands for my review.

Total disaster today, got smoked but thought I played pretty well.

My BR is roughly $1500 going through a bit of a downer but it's split up between 4 sites. Im going to restructure it so I play on 2 sites only where all my volume comes from. The main site ACR has player pools averaging 500-800 and the other site BO averaging 200-400 ppl, what brm should I stick to? Is 100 buy ins enough?

Even though im going through a mini downswing, I'm still in a solid mood when playing and enjoying it. Having a full time job and being constantly at the gym/busy helps a ton. I would say the gym working out 6x/week and cooking constantly takes up madddd time but its a huge passion of mine. Not willing to give up any part of it to grind more such as sngs. Looking forward to much better sept (results wise) and hoping to keep up the decent volume.

H1 - Check call once. If you lead, def fold to raise. Bet jamming is better than bet calling with your hand.

H2 - Easy call. Raise folding a hand as good as 99 on a 19bb stack is pretty bad.

H3 - I can fold to a 4bet here this deep. Depends on villain though. Vs most I'm probably folding this hand over 50bb deep.

It can depend based on villain's stats, but I'd say 88/99 and AQ is about the threshold.

Totally neglected this thread for some time. I've had some things come up and been working a reasonable amount of overtime so I can get some more vacation days. In any case I'm going to try harder to stay on top of this thread and def study more. Last 2-3 months I took a big hit then the last few weeks I won a small bit back. During my downswing I've noticed I was getting irritated about losing simple flips and losing my cool in general and tilting/punting my stack even 40-50bb stacks. There was a hand yesterday that hit home and I KNEW I had to take a few steps back. Pulled a 10 hour session today and overall was very happy with my mental game over a long period of playing so thats a plus.

-->Wanted to talk about this guy in general. Tough opponent, last 2 of this 9man sng. We both started the HU with roughly 50bbs and playing fit and fold post flop/ some 3bets everything in line. He started adjusting and starting 3b a ton so I adjusted and started to narrow down a preflop range a bit. Additionally once I got to 18-20bbs I started 3b-shoving a reasonable range prob like 20% of hands or so. He would c/r as an adjustement to me cbetting too much so I adjusted by cbetting from 90% of flops down to prob like 60% and calling a few small-ish raises and had in mind call with 2nd pair type hands and 3b shove TP hands/draws. Not sure if I need to add in a few Ax/Kx bluff combos for balance reasons. Going to post a few hands we played some i might of butchered.

So I'm back again, took a break from everything due to work and life ****. Now I'm back on the grind actually have been since July playing SNG's and throwing in a few MTTs here and there. My plan is to rise up the limits in SNG's playing 9-man turbos until I have a solid roll probably around 2k+ then transition into MTT's again. Figured I might as well play SNG's working on leaks developing a better push/fold game first.

Here's my graph since I started grinding the 9-man turbos avg buy in $4.00 mixing $1.00 & $5.00 games.
