pio is more user-friendly and simpler to use/easier to learn, monker has preflop (pio edge has this but not pro) and can do multi-way pots. For a first timer I'd probably say pio but I'm biased cause its what I use.

Finished my first few sessions of live poker in 3/4 months. Probably won't play many more in the coming months either. From 3 days of play (around 14hrs) at the 5/5, I'm up just over 4k.

A nice boost to my bankroll, not sure if I'll use this cash to player higher stakes tournaments or just stick it in the bank.

Still grinding 200nl and below on PPPoker and Tournaments/50 & 100nl on Ignition.

Currently beating PPPoker for between 22-28bb/100

Currently getting **** on in Ignition

I have a guy selling 30k worth of poker courses (rio, rye, upswing etc, cash games and tournaments) for 2k. If anyone wants to split costs with me send me a pm, I can't afford to solo purchase (they're digital copies of like 50 poker courses and some digital books).

Just got Simple Postflop solver, will start doing some solver work next week and hope to improve my Ignition results (where I've been getting owned).

FINALLY! Came 2nd out of 700 in the daily Ignition $50+$5 tourney. Cashed 3.8k USD. My Ignition results are now at last in the green for January with my first deep tourney run of 2019.

On the flip side, had one of very few losing days today on the PPPoker club (I've been running really hot since I started a month ago).

Also I bought a room air conditioner, so no more playing in 40 degree (Celsius) heat!

Just want to update my twitch link, since it's changed. Still grinding every day, working towards the dream (actually playing 200nl almost daily now): https://www.twitch.tv/d_donki

To update: Currently playing 5/6 days a week, aiming for 5-7 hours a day.

Playing $200 total (7 tournaments) of tournaments on Ignition per day while playing 3/4 tables of PPPoker from 60nl up to 400nl (whatever games are running).

January was a great month for me while so far Feb has been slightly better than break even on Ignition with me having my first really bad day on PPP today.

Still 1 more week to turn Feb into either a winning or losing month since I'm break even at this point.

Consistently softer games. There are some down sides, but I think they are clearly higher $/hour over Ignition cash games
