why dont you just restrict yourself from higher limits, if you dont have the mental strength to fight the urge on your own?

I dont know, it worked for me. I had been doing what youre doing now few years back (never risked my br, but randomly chased losses at games i was very ev- in), so I finally decided to just restrict myself from these games. Did it for 2-3 years and nowadays (when not using restrictions anymore) the urge to play higher than Im supposed to is completely gone. Everyone is different of course, maybe its not gonna (didnt?) work for you.

I still think it might be a good idea to work on detaching yourself from results, while not being at risk of randomly going busto

Had just 1000€ left and was still playing 100z hoping to turn it around. I played 30k hands in the last 3 days chasing all the losses. Happy degening! BR is at 2800€

You clearly beat 50 and 100zoom, but you have to dicipline yourself otherwise you will always fail your challenge. If it is not today or tommorow, it will be next month.

No shots fired here.

I want to echo the sentiments of Sp3w and Jose. Play responsibly and you can put something together. Good luck out there.

This would be a solution at least for as long as i am restricted to protect myself. I have never been restricted for such a long time as you have been so i can not say if this really works for me.

This is the point and you are 100% right. So this is the time to change and learn from mistakes even if mistakes have been made way to often already.

Following along and learning, thx for sharing will look you up on twitch (same handle?).

Regarding Brm and building up to the level your at now (50nl) would you advise taking 20-30bi shots for 10,25 etc. Was thinking that’s fine especially since I’m not grinding for a living ofc, but feel most comfortable at 40 bi+ for nl and 60bi for plo especially 50 and 100 where I know I will be a weaker player until I learn more.

Maybe i am not the right person to ask for a proper BRM lol but yeah i think 40+ should be fine for these stakes.

But finland's brm teachings are really good btw, I've started using a tighter brm and playing way better overall, way less tilt scary money, way more confidence in the plays.

It turns out that the only way to play like a complete maniac like finland does is by having 200+ bi and don't give a **** if he loses 10 bi in a day haha

Losing 10 buyins a day is a good thing?

i didn't get it on 4) and 5) haha

no doubt this conservative brm is the way to go but also not giving a **** about loosing 10 buyins is going in the wrong direction and i would wonder if i am taking this game any serious

How? Man, with his rakeback, skill and volume he could make more than the biggest winners at 100z by playing nl50 on rio. If he grew his stream and got to the 110% rb maybe he could even make almost the same as the biggest winners of 200z:

With a 5bb/100 winrate, 8bb rake and 150% rb he would make 17bb/100 at 50z over 100k hands/month, and jetkiss is having even 10k hands in some days, so he could easily hit 150k-200k hands/month

Different times, haha.
When teh timstone used to be the endboss of smallstakes
Now the endbosses of the small stakes are some 35 year old guys with a family with 3 kids that sleep always at 10 pm and have one bottle of wine per week while watching a soap opera looool

Haha no i have not. Just being a bit quiet since i feel a bit exhausted from last week. Still very desciplined with my BRM lately, thanks for the motivation everyone I am also doing some studying besides with Anki and Simple GTO trainer, watching some RIO and youtube videos. Trying some more aggro strategies in 3bet pots, river etc. which has not been working out so good so far.

I don't think think will work out rapi. Traffic is not that high on nl50/nl100 to grind enough volume. Twitch viewercount is less when i stream any other pokersite than Stars. By 6 tabling on RIO you would make around 400-500h/h, not sure. But yes, this RIO streamR is a really nice promo and maybe i can go with it in near future.
