Yea my allergies and sinuses really love to act up at times as well, it's brutal!
I'm not really interested in streaming at this point, but it might be something I do in the future. Just isn't something I think I'd really like at this point with how I grind. Plus I like to be in my own little world while I'm grinding...singing along to music or watching Netflix or whatever else
I think you can probably for sure beat through the $5s without putting any work in on your game. The $10s I've noticed can get a bit reggy at times although they are obviously mostly super **** regs. Fun format the SKOs though yea

Hows the weather on the West coast? I think we've been fortunate in Playa, few crazy pour downs!
Haha yea, I've started going super hard again and am ready to continue cranking out volume post Turbo Series as well!
We've had a lot of rain and winds lately which has sucked. Has also been absolutely cold as **** at night and in the mornings. Like 50-55 degrees fahrenheit inside the condo, super cold temps lulz

So, as I alluded to above, I've been going very hard. Something I've talked about many times in the past is that I think for me personally, I actually have a lot more success when I'm playing poker basically every day. I really get dialed in and I've usually had my most profitable times when I'm playing like 90%+ of days throughout a 20+ day timeframe. I've finally found that rhythm again and am feeling pretty good right now.
Buuut, since getting sick with the heart and anxiety related stuff, I'm realizing that I have to be careful. I had to skip Monday as I could tell I was much too fatigued to actually be able to play. If I managed to make it through the grind without an anxiety attack/something else, I wouldn't have played well at all. One other day this week, I realized the anxiety was coming on, and I ended up taking a quick break so I could take a 30 minute nap. If I'm well rested, I'm basically good to go.
That makes me think to previous years during COOPs where I'd grind all day and then go out for drinks or party or whatever. I'm not really sure how the hell I did it lulz
. Felt super great waking up after like 5 hours of sleep and a ****ton of alcohol, and now if I don't get 7+, I'm completely dead. #GettingOld
Anyhow, I've finally almost dug myself out of that nasty little hole I dug myself into start the year when I ran badly in the 25bb! I think I still plan to play some sessions 25bb after the Turbo Series ends, but I'll mostly be sticking to playing them after peak and at a lower abi. Though I'm still, per the usual, playing a fair amount of $200+ when the high stakes games run.
Top SS line with the graph attached below is my YTD low-midstakes...like I said, almost dug myself out!
Last night went to my home bar, the brewery + sushi place that is right up the road. My homey Shana and her 3 kids accompanied me. Was a really fun night, needed a night of BSing with her and the kids are always a riot as well.
My and tgiggity's new favorite thing there are the lamb burgers. They're so bomb, come from a farm right across the highway. That's one thing that's cool about this place, everything comes from Mexico and much of it is local from the Rosarito/Ensenada area. They sell some coffee that are beans from Oaxaca (way down south by Puebla where my ex Lupita is from) and I know some of their fish comes from Sinaloa, but yea, a ton of it is super local, within a 50 KM radius.
I got the mushroom bacon lamb burger last night. They have 6 different ones, gotta change it up every once in a while and try them all
And on the side got some shrimp tacos as I was hungry as hell
.
This is my new favorite beer at this spot It's not a house brew, but comes from another brewery in the area. It's called like Laluperusa IPA or some ****. The name is very difficult to pronounce and I definitely spelled it wrong as well and too lazy to try to find it on google ATM hehe.
Other than this, I'm a big fan of the Session IPA, the backside blonde ale when I want something light, their house Kolsch that I can't recall the name of and their Hazy Pale Ale is pretty damn tasty as well. They usually have about 15-20 beers on tap at a time and are continuously rotating beers in and out and trying out new ****, it's pretty nice to always have new beers to try.
And lolz, Shana's son saw the fish and instantly wanted to grab it. Owner here is really cool and is actually a former poker player himself, and with how often we come in, we get that home field treatment
I justttt busted my last 2 mtts, so going to get off the computer for a bit and eat some dinner. Will need to hit the study grind for a bit and then get to bed as I'm planning on trying to wake up for the 5am kickoff + early turbo series event. GLA tomorrow!
