Hey guys, thanks everyone for the posts! Always very much appreciate any support I receive either publicly ITT, on FB, Skype etc. PGC is my favorite subforum on 2p2 and I should try to more actively not just read and actually post in them as the interaction surely makes it more entertaining! But almost assuredly if you have a thread in here, I probably at the very least lurk it. Spend quite a bit of time reading updates at the same time as I'm on the study grind at night.

Going to try to post more regular updates this year in 2019, but we'll see how that actually goes!



Haha, good ole Bhawg . I do play a lot of the MTTs that I'm grinding the sats too, yes. Some of them are must play, mostly anything that has 6max hyper sats running to it is a must play as the 6max games only show up in the lobby 5 mins before the MTT starts. The only exceptions to this for $215 and under MTTs are

Bad start to the 25bb and 25bb SKO grind! Getting beat up quite badly. Yesterday was my first real day of volume in the 25bb so far in 2019 and was happy with the effort I put in. But...I woke up super ill with a sinus infection today. I'm trying to power through and play a bit, but damn, I really don't feel well and not playing anywhere near my A game.

I'm about to log back in and grind until the games die or I feel like complete death. Will then switch to the study grind and probably load some more 200nl on Bovada while studying, and off to bed early!

My little ballerina + english teacher girlfriend is coming over tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be feeling a bit better. I plan to get in some volume before she arrives and then potentially again after she leaves.

Should I post some cash HHs from the Bovada grind? Am thinking of doing it in the manner that Tgiggity and Brokenstars do it; lots of just random **** that happens in the games, some big pots won/lost/etc. Only issue is that the HHs from HM2 don't work on the 2p2 converter, so I'll have to post screenshots from converting on weaktight.com and post the mucked cards when they are known by me

Well, the 25bb games are really trying to force me to go back to the sat grind . EV isn't too bad considering a ton of runbad is 5-6handed which really drags down the redline. Studied a ton of SKO spots the past 2 days, something like 400 of them, and feel I'm playing decently well. Hopefully will turn around soon enough!

Woke up today and am feeling a bit better, but still battling this sinus infection. Going to eat some breakfast, take my meds and then work on getting on the grind. Denise coming out for either lunch or dinner so won't be a huge grind today as I also have to run some sat spots tonight to brush up for the big sat + mtt grind on Sundayfunday.

Was with Denise all afternoon and PS was already dead when I got online again so playing a few Bovada hands and studying sats for tomorrows session. Got smashed at 25bb and 25bb SKOs again today lulz . Studied a ton again today, feeling decent about my game and next week certainly going to just focus on mashing out volume.



Couple hands from tonight. Have a lot of adjustments to make to this pool, think I'm playing well up until the river when facing bets or raises against a lot of these nits . It's okay though, will get better with time.

Sup all, hope the Sunday grind went well. My Sunday was so so, but ended up having a great afternoon and evening going out with Bfizz + Junior (his pitbull), Ruseman and Tgiggity for some sushi + beers and then we returned home and kicked it at Bfizz's place.

This all started as Bfizz hit me up around the start of the Supersonic asking if I was done yet and could take Junior out to the bathroom . Fernanda, his GF, and Susy are in Sinaloa so the struggle is real without the ladies to help out . I ended up finishing my SNG grind and then switched my last 2 MTTs over to my phone and went up and got Junior and took him out. Bfizz finished up not too long after that as his last 4 mtts went to **** and we quickly made plans with the fellas and were out the door.





Got destroyed at the 6m games again...apparently can't win at any format of 6m right now lulz; 25bb, 25bb sko or sats.

I've had some people ask me about my expectation and whatnot. I'm going to just use Sunday as an example. My SNG EV adds up to being a pretty nice sum over the course of the year, making every Sunday essentially a must play. Last year I think I only missed part of 1 Sunday grind and otherwise hit them all.

We'll use today's grind as an example. Remember too, this is a normal Sunday where the EV is lower. Every single COOP/festival Sunday is significantly higher EV for me.









Total EV Sun Jan 13th: $1241
$27.50 16mans: 395 played @ 4.25% ROI = $453 EV
$15 16mans: 280 @ 6.5% ROI = $269 EV
$74 6mans: 174 @ 1.5% ROI = $190 EV
$37.50 6mans: 120 @ 2% ROI = $88 EV
$11 16mans: 40 @ 8% ROI = $35 EV
$28 6mans: 23 @ 3% ROI = $19 EV
$68 16mans: 22 @ 6.5% ROI = $95 EV
$181 6mans: 9 @ 2% ROI = $32 EV
$134 16mans: 6 @ 6.5% ROI = $51 EV
$360 6mans: 1 @ 2.5% ROI = $9 EV

Note: this was a lower overall volume Sunday than normal. For example, last Sunday I played 479 $27.50 16mans, 345 $15 16mans, 280 $37.50 6mans, 23 $181 6mans etc etc. I started later this Sunday than last Sunday and last Sunday was the ME Sunday of the Winter Festival, so as I said above, more volume available!

But even saying Sunday was only worth $1250 EV....if I show up and play all 52 Sundays (and that didn't include any 25bb EV, MTT EV etc), that's $65,000 I've EV'd for showing up 52 times throughout the year!

Felt like this was a nice little post to make as it's something I frequently get asked about. When you know your edge in the game, it becomes easy to do something like I've done at the sats and basically plan out my entire week and always be grinding the highest EV slots and playing the highest hourly games.That's why right now I'm on that 25bb grind mon-sat; it 100% offers me better life balance and I think the EV could potentially be higher so I'm putting in a sample to find out!

What names are beating 25bb hypers enough for no rb to not be a problem these days?

Off the top of my head, guys who profited 50k+ last year between sat hyper turbos and normal/sko hyper turbos. There's at least 5 100k+ winners in here too.

Don't want to straight give their sns out. I'm probably missing some guys too, these are just examples of guys I thought of in a couple mins of thinking where I've seen their SS unlocked or have seen their results myself.

Shana about to arrive for a massage. I'm ALL sorts of ****ed up from Winter Series. Starts with the legs as my hamstrings and calves are too tight, which causes the lower back problems, which leads right up to the neck lol. Am all ****ed up but hopefully will be a bit fixed after she's done with me.

Plan to hit some 25bb afterwards and then will be on the study grind and potentially fire some Bovada again. GL on the grind!

I really don't like when people say "still money to be made". Makes me think like we're running out of time.

What bankroll management style did you use for hyper turbos... starting out my own challenge at the $1.05 on Ignition and there is a significant jump to $5.25 for the next hyper turbo level and debating with myself on when to take a “shot” without losing buy ins too quickly if run into variance and possibly getting discouraged.

Well, I think we are running out of time TBH. I think in 5 years time or less it'll be very difficult to profit 100k in a year playing online. I think there will still be an opportunity to make a comfortable living in a lot of parts of the world, but yea, it's certainly not getting any easier out here in the streets! My $0.02 anyway

Which leads me into responding to this. First off, welcome to the thread my friend, hope your 2019 is starting off well in the sat streets . Nice to see you and some other sat guys make an appearance ITT

I am planning to grind online until I think I'm better off playing live poker, at which time I'll continue living where I live and then travel to the US to play live in San Diego, Los Angeles and probably at times, Las Vegas. I live in the perfect location here in the Rosarito/Tijuana area as I'm 45 mins from the US/San Diego and only ~3-3.5 hours from LA. I plan to likely make trips to grind live from Thurs-Sun and then would be down here in Mexico Sun night-Wed.

I already own land here and can just build a house in the future and my expenses will be quite cheap afterwards. Is also why I'm looking at buying more land in the near future to potentially build on in the future and do like air bnb/rentals or could just hold the land as the prices in this area are going up up up and don't appear to be slowing down even with cartel violence ramping up once again.

So yea, that's more or less my plan. Perfect location and with the huge cost of living in California, wages are quite a bit higher than in most other areas of the US, leading to there being some of the best live games in the country in the area. Should be able to smash 3/5, 5/5 and 5/10 for $50-$100/hr for quite a bit of time still. How bout you, any plans made yet?






Hey, I've never really had to worry about that as I've mostly been backed for my higher stake games and anything I play on my own I have basically INF bi's for. But my suggestion would be to slowly start mixing in some 5.25s. Maybe start with for every 10 games you play, you play 2 $5.25s. Then once you hit $325 BR, 3/10 are 5.25s, etc.

That is kind of brutal having to go right from $1s straight to $5s. If the short term variance in the $5.25s might end up bothering you, due to the fact that they are going to obviously hugely control how much you win/lose per session, you could consider selling a % to those $5.25s until you're more properly rolled for them and can drop the $1s completely.

Well, I don't think I look 'unhealthy.' Yes, I'm overweight and don't have the healthiest of lifestyles at all, but at least in the US, most people say someone looks unhealthy if they are talking about like a drug addict, someone with a terminal illness like cancer, etc. But yes, I very much agree I need to get back on the losing weight grind and take a bit better care of myself!

I think the SKO hypers are for sure still beatable with the super tiny RB we get these days which is why I'm playing them . I'm playing like pure 5reg games with many recs that aren't bad, some spurts of 6reg games and very few 2 rec games, and I'm still beating them pre RB even while running super **** 5-6handed.

I think those $5s and $10s are prob beatable for 5%+ pre RB even with higher rake on the lower stakes. GL if you end up starting them

Yoko, I'm assuming over time you'll improve. When I first started mixing the 6man and 16man sats together, I had to grind like 10-13 tables. Could not just instantly load 18+ tables of course . Practice makes perfect

So, wanted to get back to all the posters. Whoever it was that posted asking about the Canada story (it's ArnijsBarjas or something like this, sorry in advance for butchering your 2p2 name but I 100% remember that it was you that asked but too lazy to go look up spelling ), I'll go find it tomorrow night post grind.

I haven't been grinding as much as I've wanted, but I've also been working on getting back to sleeping with nothing to knock me out. This has lead to me staying up later than normal and therefore sleeping later than normal. I wasn't back on xanax or anything like that, def am still very scared of xanax. But I was taking Benadryl, my allergy medicine, to help knock me out at night along with melatonin. I cut both and plan to reintroduce the melatonin as there's nothing wrong with taking it as it's an all natural substance. But yea, time to get back on some natural sleep

Results have continued to be pretty meh but I'm just chugging along. Going to wait until I get to 30k games between normal 25bb and 25bb SKO and then go through and do a deep breakdown and try to decide if it's the better Mon-Sat grind or if I should revert to playing sats at least on Tues-Thurs + Sat/Sun and therefore only playing 25bb/25bb SKO at night and on Mon/Fri when sat traffic sucks. Am at something like 11k/30k games played or so.

In more fun news, for those longer term readers you might remember Vivi, my amiga from last year. She's been in contact with me a lot lately, especially once we had our 1st convo post breakup (3+ months later) and she learned of my heart and anxiety problems. She herself had to have another surgery on her ankle that already has IDR how many screws in it. It's been quite the struggle and she's still on crutches 1.5 months after the surgery, but she messaged me today saying 'I'm DYING for Ollies' said that she really wants to come over and have dinner + drink some wine and spend the night with me. Everyone loves that Ollies pizza

So yea, she'll be over on Friday night and it'll be good fun to see her. For those who don't remember





Gonna be sad to see her without the insane booty for the first time ever Going from gym 5 days a week for 2 hours to not being able to workout at all for like 4 months
