Hey guys, gonna try to get to an update right now . Want to mention that I believe later this week Bfizz11 will be coming over to my place and he and I will be doing a fun stream together. I might have a few MTTs up and we'll be drinking a few beers and opening my chests up (been saving since Feb 23); shoutout to whoever had that idea to open chests and BS. Was suggested that Saturday night when I was on stream while Bfizz was closing out the Big $7.50.

But yea, will of course post the day and time of that stream when I have more information. Should be fun, will answer questions (most questions anyway ) that people might have and we'll all have a jolly old time

I hope the Twitch channel takes off as well, although not sure that's a huge deal to either Bfizz or myself. We're both just trying to build something that many people want to be part of in different capacities. There's players being fully staked, there are players that are on coaching for profit % deals, there are people just paying for coaching, people in group sessions, people being sent to BBZ, BBZ players coming to Bfizz for 180 coaching, etc etc. There are also people that are on the stream chat/friends of TK who are just there enjoying the atmosphere and BSing with others while grinding or watching Twitch or whatever it might be. Bfizz and I are both super social people and we love that we're getting to meet new people through this project

But yea, all good stuff and hopefully 2018 will continue to be great. The website is getting closer to launch, neither he nor I (nor BBZ or anyone else involved in TK, though we're the big 3) are in a rush. Just want to let things happen naturally and grow over time and we're doing it at our pace while we both grind hard and have other commitments.

Hey man, thanks much. I had a pretty quiet evening but was exactly what I wanted and was with who I wanted to be, so it was perfect . Bfizz, his GF Fernanda and I will be hitting up a late bday dinner for me at some point this week I believe, probably after our Twitch stream together.

I would be SUPER excited for the Highroller Series if the hyper sat traffic was better at those stakes. Basically my excitement levels for the series is solely based on how much sat traffic I can get in heh. I assume I'll only play a handful of events, same as last time. But if there happens to be increased sat traffic, I'll be playing basically everything 2k and under.

Back in the SNE era, a series like the HRer series (obv didn't exist then) and a series like SCOOP, which has the most 2k bi's of any of the series, would be by far my favorite. Nowadays, due to the drastically reduced volume at >$100 stake SNGs, I most enjoy a series that focuses on the midstake Bi's; $55/$109/$215. So Winter Festival was excellent to me as was this Turbo Series.

I do agree with you though, SCOOP is awesome and I'll always be a big fan of it as there are such a large amount of great tournaments to play in a 15/16 day time frame

Hey, honestly I don't really have any special routines no. I don't waste any time and I think that's huge. Most people waste so much ****ing time it's unreal. Browsing on FB/reddit, watching netflix, whatever it might be, but many people are not that productive and I am usually at all times doing something productive towards my goals.

In terms of building the grind stamina, practice makes perfect. I used to struggle playing more than 2 hour sessions, even in 2012 when I made SNE for the first time. Now, a 6 hour session seems like a mini session and 10 hours just feels really normal/not tired afterwards.

And honestly, a lot of it comes down to how much you ****ing want it....really can be that simple at times.

****, got sidetracked with a whole bunch of other stuff, so this will likely be short and sweet as my massage therapist Shana is about to arrive. Took today off of the SNG grind, relaxed mostly and my assistant was here most of the day cleaning, doing laundry, etc as she mostly leaves me to grind/doesn't work in the house much whenever there is a series or festival going on.

Plan this week is to grind Tues-Thurs, Sat and Sun. Maybe play a short session on Friday but we'll see. Will prob play the late stuff on Tues and Thurs, not sure on Wed, never do so on Sat or Sun.

As I wrote above, will update the RB portion of the challenge update after the twitch session when I open up all my chests.

Hey Slayer im a micro sng turbo reg moving up in stakes, I left Jokerstars after their rakeback anihilation. Im currently on PartyPoker which is way more profitable but has lower volume. Havent you thought about moving some action to Party as well? I cant understand how does anyone keeps rewarding with so many fees money to Amayastars.

I have never gone and played WSOP and haven't really played any live MTTs. Have played 4 live birds ever with 1 FT under my belt for pennies heh. This year would likely be the first year that it would be worth it for me to go to LV for the WSOP. My EV was always incredibly high between the COOPs during the summertime. Last year for example, ran ridiculously badly and still EV'd like $80k pre RB from June-Aug without playing tons of hours.

This from last summer at some point during August (just July/Aug graph too, and pretty sure I crushed June too), was running super duper gross so my redline was prob being dragged down








But yea, I always just looked at the EV of the situation. People going to WSOP are usually spending heaps overall between airfare, housing, food etc. I could make way more money while spending less money and while enjoying the summer in my awesome beach town. And that EV comparison doesn't take into account people selling action or being staked etc, not many people are just owndiming those events and the hourly overall if you're playing the MTTs is super withered for most people.




I tried very hard last year with Pads to get the SNGs running over there. I got Pads into the 5k turbo chat so he could have a dialogue with all the HSSNG players. Lot of chatter back and forth, but ended up not really working out at all. Also worked a bit with another former SNE who played $60-$1k hyper turbos who was in communication with Party management, but it just hasn't ever worked out.

I sat the lobbies sometimes but it's really hard to mix with PS and the timebank in the hypers is absurdly short and I'd end up timing out a lot.

Whoops, was going to do a longer update but need to hit the study grind before putting in a short afternoon session. Not much to update anyway, just been grinding away or resting, not much exciting going on.

Seems RB got slashed some more? Now needing 35k points to open a gold chest and 95k points for a friend of mine to open a platinum chest...I'm sure mine will be that number when/if I ever get back up to platinum chest. Lol

Week graph, light grind Mon-Fri as I planned. Going to put in a short session from Bounty 55 start and play through the 109 Fast Fri/44 Hot. Then will prob play 3kish games between Sat/Sun to finish up my week










Had a few more close calls on WPN. On Tuesday I lose some ridiculous 4way AI for the CL on FT bubble of the $200 Turbo OSS event, 9th for peanuts when 1st is >15k. Same night went from 4/20 on the bubble of the 1k to getting 14th and got 19th in the massive field $66 or $88 that was like ~17k up top IIRC (somewhere between 15-20k up top). Skipped Wed and last night AT<A9 bvb aipf for 1/5 in the $55 25k to try to save the day + more

Think I'm gonna skip there again today and doubt I play Saturday, the MTTs just run so ****ing long and it really makes it tough on my Stars grind. 5th in the $55 25k (not even an OSS event) ended at like 11:30pm my time and I'm usually on the Stars grind by 8:15 AM during non COOP times. So grinding 8:15-11:30 and then have to get anything done that I need to get done (when do I study?) and then get to sleep so I can be back on the grind in 8 hours....rough lol

Well, this weekend didn't go as planned at all. Went to Ollies pizza Fri night with Shana after my massage and then it just went downhill lol. Next thing I knew, it was 10:30 AM on Saturday morning and I was closing up the after hours bar with the local crew downtown, beer still in hand. Oops...

Stopped at Ricky's bar down the street on my way home from the pizza place and then my boy who runs the after hours bar and also recently opened up a strip club here in Rosarito walked in with his wife and another chick. End up leaving with them and we went to his strip club. Chilled in the main bar for a while and then moved to the office with him and his #2 and got up to no good back there until like 6am when we shut down the bar. Nice, new F150 Raptor takes me/him/#2 (his wife and other chick had already left about 3am) to Escondida downtown and I run into a few locals I knew in there. Fun times, not so fun when I realized it was past 10am and I had been up since 6am on Friday and that I was going to be lucky if I didn't really **** myself over for the Sunday grind.

Luckily did make it to the grind today. Wasn't feeling super great but not that bad either. Couldn't fall asleep til about 8pm last night...always the worst on the comedown and when you're so sleep deprived that your mind starts racing, making it even harder to sleep lolz. Oh well, was a fun night out but don't plan on doing that again anytime soon




Anyway, got in a decent Sunday session even though I cut it a bit short. Had a nice EV day, always great when I don't feel 100% on the grind. Tomorrow morning I have MTT coaching with BBZ and with a good buddy of mine who plays up to HSSNGs/HSMTTs online and up to $50k SHRers, should be a really good session!

Planning to study some SNG stuff tomorrow after the coaching session, probably won't put any volume in but should be 3 big days of volume Tues-Thurs.

Am quite tired and need to try to get my accounting done at some point tonight so will just cut the update short. One of these days have to get into the Durango and truck, lot has been happening with the Durango and it's already running really sick

Full poker update gonna come another day, I am extremely ill and have been since Monday night. This is me being deservedly punished for being a wild man last friday night into saturday mid day heh

Still been grinding though, put in a full session today, half session yesterday and like 2/3rds of a session on Tuesday. Nothing that impressive, no HS action and super low abi and I got crushed at the peanut stakes today which never feels good










Tomorrow I'll be test driving the truck after my review session with my buddy and then my 1-3pm session with BBZ. Finally got the new lift blocks put on as well as the final track bar. The truck sits a few inches higher now, think in total like 2.5 inches was added.

My mechanic took the picture like that so we could see the difference in height. Luckily we have the rear airbags which you can air up both sides from close to the license plate on the back. They're meant to be used for when you're towing something like a horse trailer for example, but works just as well to fill them up with air so that the back end is raised and will even out the truck.










And then some pics from when I was over there yesterday. The last pic shows the new track bar (right) compared to the old one (left). New one is like 2-3x as thick and is longer which was needed due to the added height. The leafsprings and shocks were also extended to fit the new lift, think the shocks are at about their maximum but is fine as I don't plan to add any more height to the truck. Do plan to add a 2nd shock to help support all the weight (dual shocks look badass too imo ).











Have tons more truck and durango **** to get into, but need to prepare for my session with BBZ and Lupita and I finally finding a night to get some time together so she's showing up in a while and we'll chat, have a glass of wine and then be off to sleep....both super exhausted heh.
