Your blogs are so relaxing to read. Even though I never post but I've noticed it's become part of my morning routine to read through new posts, get inspired and start loading my games.

Always one of the best blogs on the forum mate, in for anothe great ride!

Sometimes I check the SNG lobby to see what's what, and you're just absolutely everywhere! Confirmed beast.

Thanks for the kind words . And heh, I really am everywhere in the SNG lobby lately, although I have been playing less 25bb hypers as of late as I've been really focusing on the hyper sats. Offpeak grind is absurd though, mixing the hyper sats + normal 25bb + sko 25bb + mtts + whatever else heh

I don't think I've posted in your PGC but I am a silent observer and fan of your blog, gl in 2018!

Haha yea I used to be like that too, so glad I'm not anymore and am just completely zoned in on playing as it's so much more optimal.

Was quite the big grind weekend! Was happy with the effort I put in between Saturday and Sunday, although I was a bit mad that I somehow only played like 10 games on Friday and also didn't study (trying to remember WTF I was doing but can't even remember lol). I was up and on the grind by 4:45 AM my time on Sunday and got heaps of sats to the Sunday Million....was the most $74 action I had seen in quite a while.

Went to watch the SuperBowl with Ruseman and ended up not playing at all today, but was pretty productive in getting **** done that needed to get done. Am ready to put in 3 big days of volume on Tues-Thurs, probably small session on Friday and then 2 big sessions to close out the week on Sat-Sun.

Additionally, I will be receiving my first ever formal MTT coaching (much will cross over to 25bb hypers too ofc) at the end of this week. Keeping it within the TurboKings family...BigBluffZinc is going to start working with me and I am quite excited about it! Bfizz and Lenballs have both worked extensively with him, as have some of my other friends and everyone has great things to say. BBZ and I have battled a lot over the years, moreso back in the 2011-2015 days but he still comes on to load some $200-$1000 6max hypers every now and again. Huge respect for him, he's a great player and I'm excited to improve due to working 1 on 1 with him

Am going to post updated challenge stats and then a few graphs and then I am off to finally hit the study grind, forreal this time!

Ah yea, was trying to remember if I had seen you down in $15s or $30s the few times I've played a late session. Glgl

Honestly I rarely feel bored, there's always so much action at the hyper sats and all my tables outside of the mtts are 6handed or less. That and I still have a huge love for the game.

But I either have music on nor have TV shows playing on my other computer. I'm not much of a fan of grinding in silence, although sometimes when I have heaps of tables I do it for stretches of time. I might try to get on the podcast grind in the near future, but am mostly content just switching between music and tv shows.

So was a pretty productive week, but woke up super mad at myself today. Didn't get on the grind until Bounty 109 time as I allowed Alisha to come over last night and we ended up going out for dinner and then at another bar until quite late. Will definitely be the one and only time this year that I allow a girl to come over on Saturday night.

But yea, other than that misstep, was a productive week. Played the late sched all 3 nights of Tues/Wed/Thurs for the first time this year and am hoping to continue that trend. Lupita came over to hangout on Thursday night and that was fun. Friday I had MTT coaching with BBZ in the morning for 2 hours and then was on my way to Tijuana to have my eyes tested as I am about out of contacts.

It was my first eye exam outside the US, went to the nicest/most modern/most expensive place in Tijuana. As has been discussed in my blogs in the past, I'm by now like 75-80% fluent in Spanish and never have any issues, but I still prefer to have an English speaker when dealing with stuff like this, so I was supposed to have an English speaking eye doctor.

Unfortunately that doctor was in an emergency surgery and the doctor that did my exam was from Peru and only spoke Spanish. Went perfectly fine anyway, probably 3-4 times I had to ask him to repeat himself/explain more as I didn't understand but that's not bad considering specific **** about your eyes I'm not so well versed in/never use nor hear some of the terminology being used. He was quite interested in my job after I told him I played poker and right away he was asking if I was into Bitcoin/cryptocurrency hehe. Ended up chatting with him for about 10-15 mins after the exam was over as I was his last patient for the day and we were on the topic of getting citizenship in Mexico and some of the difficulties with buying land and that sort of thing here in Mexico being an American (or in his case, being Peruvian)

After eye doctor, ended up dashing back to Rosarito and eating with Ruseman and then had a massage. Thought I would be putting up a huge weekend grind, but unfortunately I failed today . Guess it's okay, at least it wasn't a special Sunday...I still remember waking up hungover on 2 straight SCOOP ME sundays and being forced to grind like that. Stupid stupid lol

Anyway, tomorrow will be test driving the truck around midday and otherwise studying and maybe relaxing a bit. Am hoping to put up a huge grind on Tues/Thurs, Wed will play during the day but might be seeing Lupita for Valentine's day as she said she had a surprise for me...we'll see. Friday have coaching with BBZ in the morning, hopefully will sneak in an afternoon-evening session as I've been missing Friday a lot lately. Definitely going hard Saturday and then Sunday starts the Turbo Series and I don't really plan to take any time off between the 18th of Feb and when the series ends on Mar 4th. Will celebrate my birthday (Mar 1st) afterwards.

Updated numbers are below, am absolutely smashing the low to midstakes which is great as I'm either ownrolling or getting a huge cut of all of that! Gl to everyone this week!

Welp, have had a lot of close calls in the MTTs as of late. Last Wednesday I got 9th in the $215 Battle Royale, losing a flip for a 2nd or 3rd place stack. Yesterday QQ<AK for 1/7 or 2/7 in the $109 Bounty, followed by a ridiculous string of hands to end up 6th in the Bounty $33.

Will just post the flurry of hands that happened here in the Final 10 of the $215 Battle Royale today. It ended with AA losing vs AKo aipf for heaps of chips...crazy 30 mins

Final hand actually got a reaction out of me, though I was over it within 20 seconds. Pretty annoying but what can you do, lol_mtts.

Planning to put up a big grind again tomorrow and then I'm done grinding until Saturday. I have MTT coaching with BBZ on Friday and will spend the evening studying a lot of SNG stuff as I once again meant to put in a lot of hours studying the past week and have put in <2 hours.

When Saturday comes around I will be locking in for the Turbo Series grind! 16 days days in a row of hardcore grinding! Hopefully will be a combo of a lot of midstake traffic with decent games and a few mtt runs thrown into the mix

This morning, while my computer tech was working on my HM2 (have been having some lag when ram spikes on it 1+ hour into sessions) and I was preparing to grind, I got a nice little surprise from Lupita. We saw each other on Monday night as she was going to be busy on Wednesday in all likelihood so I told her I'd prefer to grind.

Was laughing pretty hard as it was quite perfect....'You are my prince although/even though you sometimes leave me'

Results wise will just post a Feb graph and my updated 6m hyper sat EV since the challenge started. Will probably post a more complete breakdown/update the challenge stats on Friday night before the crazy grind commences!

Is "you are my prince altough sometimes a frog" or "you are my prince altough sometimes stay as frog". No literal traduction for "me salgas"

hmm okay thanks, my mechanic who was born and raised in Culiacan, Sinaloa, read it same way as I did. Playing a lot of tables but yea, Spanish is weird where a lot of stuff doesn't translate, or if it does, it comes out weird.
            02-15-2018 , 05:04 PM
In the second picture you've posted the entire phrase can be read. "Eres mi príncipe aunque a veces me salgas rana". It is alusive to movies or tales where a frog became a prince. /derail.. sorry for it! Gl Man!

You've mentioned HM lags couple times. What helped me was to disable Windows animations. Dunno how it can be related and why it worked but it's easy to try.

Woke up and had a coaching session with BBZ which went quite well, excited to have some more coaching with him after this Turbo Series! Afterwards I got my accounting all caught up and then headed over to test drive the truck. Went very well, truck is running super sick and I'm very pleased with the progress on it. It's been slow going, but Nick doing every little detail and making sure he gets it all right.

Got back home and actually pulled in right behind my assistant, who was showing up with food for the weekend and to do a good cleaning of the house before the Turbo Series starts. Think she will be going to the US tomorrow to pick up parts for the Durango and the truck that are up at my mechanics parents house in Escondido.

Actually gotten a decent amount of studying in tonight and hoping to do some more after this post. Hopefully get to bed somewhat early and then on the grind by 7am tomorrow for a big Saturday grind!

Thx for good luck, you too!

I noticed you being in a few sats in a row and I quite quickly noticed you're some sort of a reg, my first reaction was that you're some micro reg oh boy was I wrong, you're grinding TMoney.

Could you explain me TMoney grinding? Is it something like ~you register to $7.50 sats & play them, they're very fast and some people are quite bad so you get edge from doing somewhat better push / call push play & and then long term you get more +EV TMoney which you then use for bigger tourneys?

Also, how do you manage to play so much, do you play using stacked tables or split-stack setup with 2 or 3 separate stacks of tables which are divided using software?

Man i am sitting here at work somewhat bored and waiting for your update on the first turbo series day(s) or can we expect weekly updates now that the grind is more?

Either way GL in turbo series bro!

Interesting. I will track my chests too. I read somewhere the ''rakeback'' is actually more than 4% which is what most people think but i never tracked my chests
