So, big changes in my life this week lol. Only have a few minutes to make a quick update before I have to get ready to head to my doctors appointment.



All the long time readers will remember Alisha, my first GF down here and who I've always stayed in contact with and hung out with even after breaking up. She has actually been staying with me and we are on a trial run to see if living together is going to work out or not. If it doesn't, it's all good and we've both agreed to not let it negatively affect the friendship that we'd then still keep as we have in the past when we've broken up and gone our separate ways for a while.

She sleeps here every night and is here at all times outside of when she is in University (studying Business Administration, already has a degree in Economics)/at appointments/etc and our puppy Munchies lives here full time. Well he's almost 4 years old now, but yea, I remember when her and I were first together and he was only 2 months old heh.

Been a super good first week with her 'living' here. Her father has low blood pressure and faints at times etc, so she is taking this super seriously and has been taking really good care of me. She cooks a lot of super healthy food and has been making really smart choices for me, it's been working out great. Only drank last night, otherwise anytime we've gone out she's been the only one drinking alcohol which is just fine with me.

Having Munchies around has been amazing too. Feel my stress level has gone down and I'm also getting a lot more exercise from taking him out to go to the bathroom and walking around the grounds etc. Great stuff all around

Am not supposed to work much yet, so I only played poker on Tues and Thurs during peak and then will fire a full session tomorrow. If all goes well at the doctor today and all goes well tomorrow, I plan to try to put in a bit of a heavier volume week from tomorrow through next Sunday, which also happens to be the day my parents arrive. Therefore I will not be playing at all from the 15th through 20th and will just be returning to action on Sunday the 21st.

Excited to see my parents, will be the first time I've seen them in person in 3 years. Anna is super nervous about meeting my mom, but I think it will all go well. Will be the first girl I introduce them to and extra funny since we'll all be staying in the same condo with Anna and I giving my parents the master bedroom and us staying in the 2nd bedroom (Ruse's former room hehe) which is now being turned into her office.

Going to wrap this up as I need to shower and get ready to head to the doctor. AFterwards I'm hoping to do suit shopping as I need a suit for the Fiesta next Saturday. We're excited about going to our first formal fiesta as a couple

Doctor appointment went well on Saturday, doc surprised at how much lower my BP already was and is quite happy with the progress. Am continuing with the BP med and the Lexapro (SSRI) and will continue to monitor my BP. If all goes well, I don't have to go back until December, so that's cool.

Put in a big 12+ hour grind on Sunday, first 4+ hour grind in a few weeks and it went well...was quite tired by the end and due to that I ended up only playing a quick session yesterday afternoon. I did turn around and fire a fairly full session today though marking the first time I played 3 days in a row in a while. Been running bad at the high stakes but what can you do, felt pretty good about how I played which is what's most important

Things have been going exceptionally well with Alisha, i'm quite surprised at just how well they've gone lolz. She's been keeping me really honest about my diet which is what I need as it's definitely way too easy to somewhat cheat when out at restaurants/bars/etc. She's been making healthy breakfast almost every morning, this was Sundays













Her younger brother and her niece, the 2 that I know really well, ended up coming over on Sunday. Her brother helped her build her computer chair and then the niece was doing dishes and straightening up. The 3 of them + Munchies went down to the beach here at Calafia and then post grind the 4 of us went out to Ollies pizza. They ended up spending the night and then heading out Monday morning. Quite nice with the way my condo is set up as Anna and i are in the master bedroom, the 2nd bedroom she is using as her closet + office and then the kids stayed in the 3rd bedroom which has 2 twin beds in it; really works out quite nicely.



We're having a helluva time finding me a suit for the fiesta on Saturday, is actually a bit worrying. Both Alisha and my assistant Susy have been searching options but we haven't had any luck and any tailors we have hit up have been horrible about communication or just plain don't answer or call back at all...gotta love Mexico. Hopefully we can find me something before Saturday, I believe tomorrow I will not be on the grind and Alisha and I will be going to Tijuana on the suit grind.

Hooray, Susy binked a suit that was pretty close to my size yesterday while she was in the US. While she was up there and Alisha in Tijuana doing all of her things for the day including starting to move more of her stuff to my place here in Rosarito, I was on the grind and also got the information for a good tailor that is pretty close to my place. Alisha just called him and we're about to head over there to get it adjusted and I should have it back by Friday. I am way less stressed now that we encountered a suit for me and now Alisha can focus on finding a dress, getting her hair done, etc...things are moving forward!

Here's the ****ty pics from last night at 1am when I tried the suit on, obviously needs to be fixed still. Definitely much better pics to come on Saturday when we go to the quinceanera

Haha nice first post . Vivi and I weren't living together, she has her house that is towards Tijuana. But yea, we were together, although it was quite a new relationship of course.

She massively ****ed up during WCOOP, was her 2nd huge ****show she caused and it happened during WCOOP which she knew was really important and that I didn't have any time to lose. I lost one of the Saturday grinds during WCOOP due to her, and I just can't have that.

She also took literally 0 responsibility for her actions even though it was all her; I actually hadn't drank any alcohol and she just lost her **** on me out of nowhere while I was talking to the owner of the bar we were at lulz...we were both supremely confused and this started a massive scene.

But yea, no more Vivi in my life heh

Just busted 9th in the bounty 109, a bit disappointing. Did put in my first really large grind on a non Sunday for the first time in like nearly 3 weeks or so, felt pretty nice! Unfortunately the results weren't too good but whatever, glad I've been able to do some grinding without any negative side effects.

Alisha and I got a ton of stuff done yesterday. I will have to take some pictures, but she's been working on making the house feel even homier. Picked up some new lights yesterday from Home Depot and we'll be ordering some stuff online from Amazon in the coming week as well. She will be moving her little mini garden from her place in Tijuana over here which will be cool. Can't remember what all she grows, was like 5 different things. Will have to post pics once it's here. We've also already gone to look at some more plants and today she took measurements of the balcony so we know what we're working with. There were these bamboo plants and palms that we both liked and I think we'll end up going to pick them up next week as well.


I am going to do some quick studying as she went to pick up Munchies from getting groomed, think we've got a couple errands to run tonight and then will be hitting up some dinner and trying to get back to go to the jacuzzis

All women are a bit whacky, but Latina girls just take it up to the next level lol. Many of them have short tempers and when they get mad, they can really explode really quickly. Goes both ways though too, when things are good, they are super great with Latina girls compared to American girls (at least in my experiences).

Going to just make a quick post with some pictures. I just got back after a quick haircut and from getting my suit. Alisha is up in TJ getting her hair done and has already gotten herself a few different potential outfits to wear tomorrow, along with doing a slew of other errands.

I'm about to hit the study grind for a while and then will head to the north side of Rosarito to meet Alisha for dinner when she messages and tells me shes on her way.

2 big grind days ahead and then vacation with my parents until the following Sunday! GLA out there

Love reading your thread and have done for years. Shame to hear about the health problems but it's great to see you doing so well even when a lot has gone against you in the poker landscape.

Stoked your doing well again bud. Hope all goes well on moving in with the girl. I remember I had to make some pretty big life changes when my (now) wife moved in, hated it at the time but now realise it's all made me a better person.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am loving it so far and the fact that everything is going smoothly with my parents staying here as well is quite nice. Been a lot of changes to my place, but the energy feels better and it feels much more like a home, so all is good!

Yea for being on such a time crunch, I think the suit ended up coming out pretty well, but it certainly wasn't perfect. This is why you should start these things more than like 4 days before the event, especially when you're a massive human and it's hard to find clothes for yourself

Been a fun visit with my parents so far. Alisha and my parents have been able to communicate pretty well, her English has been getting quite the workout! Good to see though, and Alisha actually had a random, deep conversation with my mom 2 nights ago while my dad and I were chatting with my mechanic. She told my mom that she has been going to see a psychologist and it's because she is doing a complete 180 with her life, trying to turn it around for the better and that she wants to make a good wife for me but knows she needs to get through some of her issues. She also openly said to my mom that she knows she needs to quit drinking as much as she does as it isn't good for her nor our relationship. Was interesting to hear that second hand from my mom the next day, but cool that they've already connected well enough for Alisha to feel comfortable enough to say all of that to her.

Anyhow, been a lot of relaxing going on and then eating a lot of good food. I've definitely put on a few pounds this week, as expected, and once my parents leave, I'll be going hardcore on the health grind for a while. Tomorrow, a small group of us are going down on a craft beer tour in Ensenada, should be lots of fun. I think tonight we're going to just grill out here, Alisha has to meet up with her team members for Uni at 6pm and likely won't be back until late, so my parents and I will just grill out and chill.

Alisha has been taking the few pictures we've taken so don't have any pics with my parents in my possession yet but I'm sure will post a few at some point soon.




But, here are a few pictures that she took from the Quinceanera the other night. Was super fun and was really glad we were able to go. Was quite funny as many of the guests were trying to figure out just who the hell Alisha and I were as we were sat at the front table with the Mom of the girl, my mechanic Nick (step father) and the other Padrino and his wife. I only knew a few people there as I haven't met any of my mechanic's GF's family other than her 3 kids and mom.

During the toast, the mom actually got choked up and couldn't think of anything to say, and as Nick, Alisha and I were the 3 people standing directly behind/next to the mom and the bday girl, Alisha was whispering the normal things that the mom should have been saying....how much we love you, how proud we are of you, you're now becoming a woman, etc etc. She ended up not being able to find the words and Alisha ended up giving most of the toast before passing the mic off to the biological father lolz, was funny.















Finally hear my parents getting up, I've been the only one awake for like 2 hours thus far. Going to shut this comp back down and head out there, GLA on the grind!

My parents just left about an hour ago. Was fun times with them and good to see them after so much time had passed, but feel a bit relieved that they are gone as well lulz. Is always quite stressful with them around and was even more so this time around with Alisha and I living together. I am definitely ready to click some buttons tomorrow!

The first days back on the grind went reasonably well. I'm still quite exhausted and think they are actually what caused the 2 mini attacks I had today. Definitely looking forward to try to resting up a bit this week as it was quite the hectic few weeks IRL with Alisha moving in and then us trying to get the house ready for my parents arrival.












Alisha and I have a ton of appointments tomorrow in Tijuana. I am still in the Bounty 530 ME and therefore might have to miss and she'll just go herself and do as much of it as she can. We are both supposed to go to the dentist and then to her psychologist, followed by an eye appointment for her and then a quick trip to see her normal physician. Have some shopping to do for the house as well and we'll need to move the rest of the stuff in her apartment out by the 31st.

I do plan to play Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday/Sunday this week, just the high hourly peak portion of the day though. Still will be the most hours I've put in during a week since the end of WCOOP and will be my first attempt at 'normal' grinding hours while living with Alisha.

Hey Calibre, yea above poster is correct on that. I'm not sure where you got your number from though anyway, as if you just search my SS with 0 filters and for all dates (though it is reset as of Jan 1, 2016 as you can see in the below image), I am +540k pre RB on PS.












I'm not sure exactly how much I am up lifetime, probably somewhere around 2-2.5million or so. I've made somewhere around 1.5million or so in RB in my career.

I do know I'm up >1mil at non nosebleed stake SNGs on PS since spins&gos were introduced in Nov of 2014 as that is something that I update every now and again and the main 'long term' graph that I track as I think it's significant.

Been SNE+ every year since 2012 and then am also up 6 figs on Merge, mid 5 figs on Party Poker and Bodog, and up healthy sums on wpn and ipoker.

I do also know that Bfizz has reset his SS as of recently and is a 7figure winner lifetime; he is up quite a lot on non PS sites as well

Just finished ~150th in the Sunday Mil to wrap up my grind for the day. 97 was no good on 7Q69 2FD board vs a cbet and turn barrel.

Played 6 days this past week which was great, loving that I'm staying very poker productive while also being able to spend a lot of time with Alisha and also get a lot done around the house with her as well. I'll have to take some more pics soon, we got 2 little palm trees for on our patio, a bamboo tree for inside and 4 smaller plants and we both feel that the energy in the condo is much better than before. Her garden still has to make it's way over here, will 100% be happening this coming week.

I believe we are going to go chill on the beach for a while and then head for dinner, going to just post an updated challenge graph below. Sad that I will not be hitting the 300k games, but nice looking profit line nonetheless!
