Hey! How´s it going? I hope you´re feeling phenomenal. Im an Anonymous Fish and this is my challenge to improve 1% daily in my chosen areas for this year. There are only so many hours in a day, only so much willpower and only so much motivation. I want to see whats possible if I stay to a strict routine and focus on incremental compounding improvements instead of "going with the flow" or giving up lifeEV for cEV, to try to buy it back later.

I never been a big fan of routines or schedules but Elliot managed to convince me, and the logic behind it seems way more solid than my past "logic", which was based on feelings, motivation and willpower. So I will try to look for new ways to improve and grow until I reach my goal. I´ve heard that almost everything is possible with work ethic over a given time frame, and that there are only two stages to every aspect of life: Growth or Degeneration. Lets see where this leads...

Current Schedule
08: Ignite Body & Mind
09: Reconnect with Vision & Mission
10: Mental Game
11: Study
13: Play
16: Exercise
18: Study
19: Play
22: Walk & Listen
23: Journal and Yoga

Total month
  • Movement: 65h
  • Meditation: 25h
  • Mental Game: 20h
  • Study: 45h
  • Play: 115h

Motivation
The first thing is to see that it's impossible to lack motivation. The main character from the movie office space was incredibly motivated to do nothing. Most people don't view it that way, but motivation comes from your goals. So if you're "lacking motivation" what you're really saying is that your motivated for something else than what you think you ought to be motivated for. For example, people are motivated to avoid pressure. Poker can cause a lot of pressure. By watching **** on a device or generally just f***ing around, this person is successful at avoiding pressure. This person is motivated. And Im also motivated.

No PMO
Ive done it in the past, but this year I've decided to it for a full year this year, both as an experiment to see what happens and to say focused on my vision and mission. If you haven't tried it before its one of the most amazing things that I´ve done in the past. The motivation, focus, drive, energy and vitality you get after a few weeks is unmatched by anything else ive ever experienced in my life.

Improve
  • Repeat the mental HH
  • Focus on one topic a week
  • Organize and Implement better
  • Slow down during play
  • What level is he thinking on?
  • Better cool down

Results
I will track every aspect of life and poker and compare it to cEV to see if any pattern arises, and if so, by how much? Results and conclusions will be posted at the end of the week. Currently Playing the $15s Spins.
