Quick, boring update. I will be going back to Mexico either the night of Jan 5 or Jan 6, somehow forgot the date already and my Mom booked it with her card/email so can't access it atm haha. Pretty excited to hit the grind, I've been studying PLO a ton while home and putting in a few hands on Merge and WPN here and there at 100-200plo and will hopefully be ready to smash 200plozoom right off the bat.

I worked out the math on my entire grind plan for the year to make sure I have enough vpp/day planned for each of my 6 work days per week, and indeed I was spot on in my initial planning of how I would use my screen space throughout the day, sloppy check that I did below

1441 vpp/day mtts (36 ps mtts regging 11 hrs)
1350 50 turbo 9s/18s throughout day (27 vpp/game, 24.42 for a 60, 39 for a 100)
600 1000 hands of 200plo zoom
360 30 9m hypers (12 avg vpp/game)
=3751/day

Start 1/7, quit 12/7 (50 off days in that time, 6+24=30, miss 80)=3510/day needed

I think I will end up with more sngs/day played, but better to be safe than sorry in the calcs imo

Also went to see the physician on Monday to get all of my test results. I found out that I have sludge built up in my gallbladder which can turn to gall stones at any point. Some doctors will take the gallbladder out with just the sludge, some won't operate without gall stones having developed.

For the time being, I'm going to just hope that lifestyle changes and changes in my diet will keep them from developing. Will probably have another ultrasound run when I come home late 2015/early 2016 to have cataract surgery to see if anything has changed at all, if I haven't had any stones develop by then ofc.

Kind of a relief since that is something that is super easy to 'fix' if anything goes wrong (take the damn thing out ), could have obviously been much worse and this problem will actually lead me to taking care of my health even more as more than light alcohol consumption is something that I will really have to try to avoid going fwd.

That's all I have for today, not really doing anything special for NYE, going to just have some massive 36oz stakes from an awesome meat locker at home with my parents and then we'll probably go outside and start a fire in our firepit and have a couple of drinks and relax for the night. Will be 2 straight super boring NYE's for me, #GettinOld .

Next update will probably be when I get back to Mexico unless something changes, so hope everyone has a good New Years and bol to everyone starting their year this weekend!

Sounds were off for a really epic year again with ya. Good to have you back.
Sure was waiting for some rungood pics and you delivered with the Packer babes.
With the book thing i saw quite some military stuff books in their.
If you do like the genre try out the books from Andy McNab and start with the first ones when he just got into the SAS. Very good reads for sure

Indeed, I'll have to let you know anytime Ruse, Gramps, myself etc are doing anything in Tijuana.

Thanks again for the all GLs, right back at all of ya!

Played my first hands of poker last night on Bovada, lost like $400, what a witherist I am! Played a few MTTs and then some PLO cash, ran lol_bad in the MTTs but was nice to get clicking again . Felt I played pretty well in the PLO games, ran a couple spots after and seemed my intuition was pretty spot on thus far in the spots I've ran. Definitely have improved a lot with the studying I've put in while home, and looking forward to getting a lot better!

I'm firing Sunday on the 3 US sites I can play on tomorrow while watching NFL with my dad, would be cool to start the yr off with a bink! If not, hopefully will feel good about how I played and will probs be running 6-9 tables at a time so will be a good opportunity to ease back into multitabling across a few sites.

Gl to everyone grinding Sunday, will post if I have any sweats tomorrow, keep those book suggestions coming!

Gotta have some savers for the first Sunday of the yr

Welp woke up to a bit of snow, so spent my time after church helping to clear out the driveway before hitting the US site Sunday grind. Still snowing, and think we're supposed to get a bunch more tomorrow as well, I'm hoping I make it out of Chicago on Tuesday night, will be tilted if I don't. High temperature of -22c on Wed lol, low temp -33c (with windchill), so even more reason to make sure I get out

And lol, have like 0 snow clearing clothes, came in soaked

Glgl sundayfunday everyone, Sunday starts in 15 mins for me!

Good workout removing the snow I guess.

Where's Mr. Plow when you need him?

Yea wasn't bad, snow was pretty heavy too which made it even better, honestly felt decent being outside in the cold, although the wind was really frigid.

Haha I played the simpsons video game on ps2 so got to drive around in mr plow a bit and know about it .

Used to do some plowing myself as it's super good money for a young kid (like $35-50 an hour), but by far the most fun I've had is getting to drive a city snow plow twice. Wish I had some pics but I don't, probably did on my phone I had way back then. Was more difficult than I thought it'd be but still pretty sweet .

IDOT (Illinois Dept of Transportation) truck, city has same trucks minus different decal and they don't put the blades down all the way as it ****s up the roads a lot faster, which the state doesn't give a **** about as much

Edit: Oh nice, found a city of Belvidere truck

Anyway yea, so today is my last full day in Illinois as long as I make it out of Chicago tomorrow, lets F hope so. Supposed to get more snow tonight and then its windy as ****, so could see my flight being delayed, but hopefully just won't be a problem. It's so cold out today that it literally took my breath away when I walked outside; couple schools in the country had school cancelled due to it being too cold (for the kids standing at bus stops etc).

Just got back from dinner at Olive Garden with the fam and now relaxing with them this evening. My Mom and I finished up season 6 of the shield so she'll end up having to watch the last season on her own, but we put a good dent into it! We might end up watching some Its Always Sunny, Blue Mountain State or something of the kind tonight, gotta have some laughs before I'm gone for another 10+ months! Probably will do a bit of study tonight and then get all my stuff together to head back after they go to bed.

Ran pretty bad in CD and runouts yesterday in my short session, felt pretty nice to be clicking buttons across 3 sites though and felt I played decently well. Am really really looking forward to hitting the grind again!

I am making one shift to my grind plan though, at least to start the year off to get me caught back up to and then ahead of SNE pace. It's actually quite a large one, but I think it's quite necessary mainly because getting SNE is the most important thing. Going to MTT on mon, fri and sun as they are the best value days of the week, and will add in 18 mans all day long and then 9s at the start/end of my day. The rest of the days I'm going to focus on solely VPPs and probably just won't plany any MTTs, or if I do, it'll be like the 320 100k on Wed, the 1k on tues/thurs, etc, just the big guarantee stuff and then mayabe some turbos.

I think this is pretty necessary since at any point my eyesight could become quite bad due to the cataracts; they already got a ton worse since my last appt in late 2013 and the process takes at least 1 month since they don't do surgery on both eyes at once. Would be insanely tragic if I had to battle with PS to try to get an extension for SNE, so seems better to just make sure I get well ahead of pace and finish it up early.

Yea so hopefully I get back to Mexico nps tomorrow and am posting some plo spewspewspew by Wed at the latest . Gla on the tables

Your going to crush this year when you get all that ev back!

What are your thoughts on Bovada while you have been playing there? Softness worth no rb?
01-05-2015 , 11:43 PM
If you have any desire you should look into Floatation Tanks as a meditation aid as well as assisting in your general well being. I have seen some pretty amazing results.

Very good games indeed, no RB sucks but MTTs/200nl/plo+ have to be v lucrative for sure

Will check this out when I have time to read it, thanks for the link though. One of my buddies in Rosa is into meditation and I was gonna start building the habit once I got back, so good timing

@Grind plan change, forgot to mention 2 things that are just as important as possibly having to stop grinding for a bit due to my eyes. The first is that at any point the sludge in my gallbladder could turn to stones and then I'd have to go home to have surgery. Simple procedure and will take up less time than cataract surgery, but would definitely have to take a few weeks off. The other is that at some point in 2015, might have to relocate again as Mexico has passed new gaming laws and they might segregate the player pool. So yea, I really need to jump ahead of SNE pace and try to be at like 600-650k post SCOOP if that is possible.

Also gotta show off my new glasses lol . Don't think glasses have touched my face since I switched over to contacts in 6th grade. They feel pretty weird on my face, and getting distorted version a bit, but read up on it and that seems quite normal, especially for someone needing a high power prescription, and my eyes are absolutely atrocious (like -5.75 and -6.5 with astigmatism (and cataracts) in both). I hope to be completely used to them and wearing them full time within about 2 weeks, only wearing my contacts when I go out.

Cant wait to get on the health bandwagon starting today, feels like I'm starting a new life as I've thought a lot about everything I want to change and how I want to do it. Gained back a bit of weight being home over the holidays and looking forward to losing that back + more! Going to read this book next that Ruse has suggested to me, says it is quite good for transitioning/teaching yourself healthy habits that eventually will become a routine that you are craving.

Ex: Start laying out your workout clothes next to your bed/close by and get in them right away and attempt to go work out asap in the morning, will become easier to get yourself in workout mode and eventually your body should just crave getting up and working out and releasing those endorphins. Hopefully will do similar stuff myself in a few different aspects of my life, or at least get a good viewpoint on what I should be thinking about or trying

And gonna share this link before heading to bed, hopefully next post made is from Mexico!
