Hey guys this is a thread to keep me in check for 2017.

Goals.

* work on my anxiety on and off the tables

* dont play zoom if i am feeling bad and make sure to play short sessions and have a stop loss at both plo and nl 6 max

*play more mtts and less cash a week

*study 8 hours a week

*go travelling for a few months this year

*either go for a hairtransplant or shave my ever losing hair off

*win a live event

*get to the gym and work on my confidence.

*sleep issues sorted and get a daily routine going.

yeah i have a kind of love hate relationship with zoom nl or plo

doing ok at nl 500 when i play in the zone but i have several tilt sessions where i have dropped a tonne of buy ins . cant be good, still up after 130k hands somehow but i think i will try concentrate on mtts/ small stakes cash until i feel more comfortable with my game

just getting a new computer built, think gone overboard getting 128gb of ram for pio solver (dont even think it will run preflop that quick for solving )

about monitors , im looking at getting two of these but with limited desk space this might be an issue

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/samsu...mo-211-sa.html

do you think one 34 and a smaller one for the side would be ok? pretty anal in that i like two of the same especially resolution wise

so today is the $215 turbo pko shootout so i think i will get ready and play a session today. should probably get everything sorted with new computer set up but with it being tcoop and me being a massive punter i dont think i can resist :P

Get a 32" 4k or a 43" 4k TV, 1440p widescreens are so 2015

Such a tilting session. Was 1 tabling b.750 for eternity and was 1/10. Obv lose two flips and im ss going into ft and ofc 9th.

So i was fuming cause i had a ddos attack too which has been happening a few times this past week.

So of course i tilt loaded 2 tables 500 plo and 500nl.

Think i lost a buy in at nl but won 5 buy ins at plo 500z. This is my problem tho when i bust for a needless cash like that i auto jump into the pools. Tired after playing a 7.50 bowl for 8 houra straight. Really need to get a new ip address but means changing providers maybe. Im gonna get new internet set up with new ip but was a bit paranoid since the 2+2 db bereach

Gn guys .

Simple goal for tomorrow . Get monitor / tv 4k sorted for grind and take dog out to a nice place in the lakes juat outside my town.

Failed at getting monitor. Woke up felt anxious as hell. Have to be a witness at coyrt when i got assaulted as the guy is pleading not guilty and i dont really want to go in person with my autism.

I failed alot today but im getting ramdon icmp attacks ddoss attacks. Not sure if someone ****ing with me but its happened deep in mtts a few times now proabably just getting paranoid but none the less with my new computer not having skype and keeping it for poker is more essential to me

I dont know if the 2+2 breach allowed ip addresses to be compromised but mines fixed. Will be sorted next week fully i hope.

Goals for tomorrow take molly out for walk n sign up for the gym

thanks mate appreciate it, think u brought me some run good

was a pretty productive day for me,

got out with the dog over the beach and it was freezing like almost 0 with high winds, but she loved it, shes a cross breed and i just had her dna test done cause she is from a staffy rescue centre.

lovely dog she is, will get some pictures up if i work out this image worked right :P

was good to win the hot 22 , ran pretty deep in the 215 6 max turbo today too got around 40th or whatever for 1k which was ok..

also went out with family member today which was good to get out before the grind, think it helped me mentally today somewhat.

Goal for tomorrow..

do some exercise in the morning, maybe a run in the local park or go swimming at the local baths early, then set up pt4 on my new computer and get some lunch whilst watching liverpool (my team) lose to wolves or something, got offered tickets and should of gone but with my state atm and it being like today i was told i kind of put it off, think i might go to amsterdam on tuesday for a few days, mate wants to go on ferry though and it annoys me cause i need to get uber drunk to enjoy a boat journey :P

gn guys, hopefully this thread gives me some positive direction

Thanks man means alot will try keep with my main mtt game !

Well saturday consisted of me restoring a database i backed up thiught my new i7 would be alot quicker eith this pt4 backup but alas 15 hours in and it finally done a 17gig database.

Surpisingly everything worked like hud profiles ect which was really good so played a session sunday

Was pretty gruelling in that i sattied into the 1k turbo and bricked and sattied into the sunday grand and lost a flip with 50 left sucks but from a $82 and a $55 i cant really complain

Got deep in the 109 200k on party but alas lost jj to kk then jj >ak for the showers early morning.

Goals for today set up piosolver on this new computer along with table optimser/stars helper.

Anyone use table optimser whilst grinding party? Know that party can be pretty funny with any software aids so might be worth asking a few regs before i get it.

Suppose stars helper is fine i guess so might just end up with that .

Gl for February guys

Well its time to go back to my bread and butter today n punt at some mtts . Gl to all today

Will try post some disgusting hands interesting spots this week .

gl this year young legend. never even told me u started up a PGC thread haha. you aren't alone in struggling with anxiety issues. i think due to the solitary nature of this game it can make a lot of those predisposed anxiety issues a lot worse. i know we've heard it a million times and talked about it on call 10 million times... but balance is so crucial in this game (literally and theoretically) best of luck in the remainder of 2017 legooo!

+1, there are plenty of us out there who struggle to be both a poker player and a reasonably well function person. Doing one or the other is not a big problem for me, but being both is hard. Whenever I fall for the deceptive comfort of the grind and the isolation kicks in I'm a mess, and I seem to never learn to not put myself in that spot. Life strategies are quite a bit harder than poker strategies for some of us I guess

Gl with everything OP, I seem to always see you when railing 500z, I hope it's going well.

yeah this holds truth alot, for me very much so. i have done this as a comfort for so long, putting real life issues aside, tomorrow i have a court case in which i have to stand up as a victim due to being glassed in the face, guys denying it was even him :/ such a stupid event that turned out, but definitely been holding over me somewhat for a while now, hopefully the right result comes tomorrow for him to get found guilty

ive had alot of sleep issues volume issues this month which are slowly getting better, i slept almost 35 hours this past 3 days (well and truely needed) sleep was pretty much backwards for me and getting in check was the small step i needed, gym non existant, been out with the dog a bit this week which has helped , she is a rescue dog who i recently had dna tested (ha i know im a nerd) but was good to find out some of the breeds she has in her

she is my life saver, but i am sure alot of you know the effect a pet can have on ones life

poker this month has been terrible , MTTs have been stupid,

i think i played around 300 mtts on stars mostly sundays and 215s majors, dropped a nice 5k or so according to pt4, so yeah really struggled volume wise but with the start of the month i had playing plo 500z i kind of put myself in the must grind cash month

results for the month total games nice comeback i know

shameful to drop like 18k or so after 14k hands, plo **** you ! i hate loosing but always come back to it nice come back mainly coming from the ploz but ran over ev (not like i didnt need it)

this pot typifies why i need probably 200 buy ins for plo 500z zoom especially for a fish like me..
